Thailand is known for value deals on hotels and it never goes better than what Tiger Hotel offers you. The standard room is a big size room with a very nicely set tea and coffee counter, mini bar and a nice bed. The bathroom is again a large sized one housing a Jacuzzi !!!! First time I have seen a hotel in budget category offering a Jacuzzi.

The location is awesome too. Tiger Hotel is just adjacent to Jung Ceylon- the stylish shopping mall in Phuket and so you are at a very happening place and can find things very convenient. To get to the beach it is about a 200 -250 mts walk. The night walking street - Soi Bangla is again just a walk away towards the beach side.

The place is adorned with large tiger heads protruding all over the facade of the hotel and large seafood restaurant below. It might give an impression of Tiger being a 'wild' place, but that isnt. This Tiger is a tamed cute place to stay.

First off, check the room rates for this hotel on different booking sites. In the low season you can book or walk in and have a room for 1000 Baht (breakfast included), and that is very cheap for what you get!

The hotel overall is very descent and clean, the themed Tiger jungle is fun to walk into everytime. The neigbourhood can be noisy to some because of the traffic, night market, booming tuktuks and the live music band in the evening.
Around the corner of the hotel is the big shopping mall complex Jungeylon with the Big C supermarket, expensives stores and eatery. For the nightlife action on Bangla road its a 5 minute walk, the beach is 10 minutes away.

The rooms are of a good size, have a little fridge, flatscreen tv, safe box (smallish) and enough space to hold your luggage case and clothing. The jacuzzi is very pleasant to dip into after a day of exploring or fun.
The only negative points about the rooms are the airconditioning and the beds. The beds are kinda hard and the airco sometimes doesn't cool enough or shuts down.

Breakfast at the hotel is good enough and fresh, don't expect a big morning buffet.

For the price of 1000 Baht this hotel is very good.

Room Tip: IMO the best rooms are the noisy ones at the main road, cuz these have a view that is not obscured b...

We arrived 3 hours early after a grueling flight and my wife and i were able to check-in about 4 hours early. Phuket is in an interesting place but overall pretty fun. I would recommend this hotel if you can afford it. We were short on planning time so that's why we chose here. The bathroom was really nice and overall it was quite clean. The AC worked like a champion as it was extremely hot outside. Overall, i'd say go here if you can afford a bit more.

We stayed here for 1 week on a business trip, room was reasonable but someone had smoked in the room on a previous stay so room was a bit smelly, if your looking for a basic room to sleep in with no frills then this is pefect but if your after a room that has a spa & views then forget it.
For the price & location it was perfect, ideal for a short stay on business.

This is the dirtiest motel I have ever stayed in, the rooms smell, toilet is like public toilet with lots of bugs around and the shower over the bath tube is only that high that would read your waist.so you gunna have to sit down in order to take shower!!!! It's a very noisy hotel as its right next to the boxy matches, reception don't speak English much and customer servic? Forget about that... There was lots of hair all over our bed and in the bath tube and finger prints all over the mirror! The bin in the toilet wasn't changed and there was dirty toilet appeared in there,,,, not happy

Room Tip: Don't stay here!!!!!

We stayed at this hotel with short notice, we found it easily and it all seemed fine.

At exactly 0800 the construction noise began, this hotel is located right in the middle of a new construction project, this tied with either loud music until 0300 or the boxing stadium immediately next door made for poor sleep, there is also a new bar due to open on the ground floor of the hotel soon?
Location is everything to some people, this hotel is placed well, right next to a lot of good places, ideal for bars, restaurants etc... However, this sacrifices sleep quite a lot, it proved a challenge to get more that four hours sleep a night here.

I found the breakfast buffet terrible, not just because of what was served but because it was freezing cold, no effort was made to keep it warm in any way?

The rooms were spacious albeit a touch dated looking, the bathroom had a jacuzzi but also had mold in areas, but it did to smell at all.

The staff were all nice and friendly, helpful where they could be and spoke adequate English, so no issue there at all.

The general stay I thought was ok, but for the price charged I do not think it was worth the money, I've been traveling for over a month in Asia now and you can get better for the money in this area.

However, that said, for a short notice stay, it was ok.. Would not want to stay for more that a night though.
