“Nice hotel”
Reviewed 23 April 2014

My partner and I stayed here for 5 nights as part of our honeymoon, we stayed in the rejuvenation suite on the top floor.

When we arrived we were made very welcome by a member of staff, i think here name was Angie. We received a welcome drink and cold towel which was much needed as it was very hot and humid.

Our room was on the top floor, and 1 BIG downfall to this was that we needed to take 3 different lifts to get there. The room was excellent, very clean and spacious, complimentary water, fruit and newspaper every day. We had a jacuzzi bath in our room which was excellent and nice and relaxing. Air con was not fantastic compared with other hotels, really struggled to bring down the room temperature.

The pool area was good, with a swim up bar and nice seating area. The restaurant was rather expensive as were drinks, we ate here once and it was very nice but too many other places to try.

Excursions i would recommend to book from outside the hotel as they are quite a bit cheaper, there are plenty of places along the way to the beach. The hotel is set on a very steep hill but there are some stairs which make it easier. Its about a 5-8 minute walk to the beach and bangla road, we walked every day. If you want a tuk tuk, there is one that runs from the hotel every couple of hours or you can get your own for around 300 baht.

Overall pleased with our stay, although this hotel is quite expensive for everything, food, drink and even to print you a boarding pass.

Enjoyed our stay here, nice rooms, good wifi, nice swimming pool with swim up bar. Awesome to come back to the hotel after a day shopping in Patong and have a cocktail in the pool while watching the sunset. Breakfast was good. Location is good, away from the bustle of Bangla Road but only a 5 minute drive or 20 minute walk to the beach/town centre.
Our only 2 gripes are the lift situation and the air conditioning in the common areas.
We had to take 4 lifts to get to our room. Because of the way the hotel is built into the hill it means you need to take multiple lifts to get to your room depending on what level you're on. Can get quite annoying. Also the lifts are stifling hot, there is no air conditioning in any of the lifts, the lobby, the restaurant or any of the common areas which can make it quite uncomfortable at times.

Room Tip: Upgrade to a pool access room. Not too many lifts to take to get to it.

The staff here are nice and energetic! The location is good that you may find lots of banks, restaurants, pubs, convenience stores nearby. Shopping mall and Patong beach are closed and you may reserve a ride of shuttle too. The concierges here impressed me a lot by giving me good tips on sightseeing around. I enjoy swimming in the private swimming pool with gorgeous view of Phuket city view also! The resort will be my choice again once I visit Phuket.

This was our 2nd stay at senses and we will be coming back. We travelled with our family, just us previously and we rate this as our favourite from 10+ hotels we have stayed in the area.
The staff are the standout, helpful, always trying to help and this make such a difference.
the breakfast is great, pool and gym rock and lots of shuttle services. If you walk its just 10mins but the roads a bit precarious with a pram.

Stayed here with the wife 7 nights beginning April 2014. Organized the resort run airport return transfers via email before we left Australia. Checked in super early at 6AM and upgraded to a deluxe pool access room #1216. (had to pay for early check in, but you'll want to after flying inside a tin can through the sky all day or night) I found the room to be quite huge, with its super cool A/C, massive shower, very new decor (only 1yr old), big telly and plenty of 240v power points for all your devices (8). (used the same adaptor i used in Bali.). Has included wifi access everywhere onsite so you can tease your friends with your facebook photos of paradise. (ask for password at reception)
The bed is solid but the pillows are plush. The balcony and pool access is awesome! Its a small swim under the footbridge and over to the swim up bar for a few Singha's, Mojitos and peanuts as you overlook glorious Patong city sunset. We did a Thai cooking class that left us with so much food to eat (feeds 4 but could do 6 or more). You work along side the resort chef and make proper Thai cuisine.
We hung out with a few cocktails in the "Love Lounge" for a little entertainment with the wonderful and entertaining "Khun Keng & Mr Max". The music duo performing live music nightly. I got up and had a play on Max's axe and sang a few tunes with them. They love the interaction.
The pool is very salubrious with its blue lights at night all lit up. Its looks spot on! The small daily walk to the lifts every morning and down to the breakfast buffet on the "ground level" in "eat more" restaurant for a freshly prepared omelet with toast and fried rice and a cafe latte was ace too. There is a wide range of tastes catered for at breakfast. The dinner restaurant food was good too, We chose the Thai menu where we could, but they do serve western food if you're really into that.
The resort tuk tuk takes you to Jungceylon shopping mall and to the beach on a daily schedule. Everything is in easy walking distance anyway so no problem, but the climb to the top of the resort entrance is very steep going on the way back, best done in or on an upward moving vehicle. Don't forget to get your complimentary "jetlag" massage too. (no happy endings) but pleasant nonetheless. The lights of Patong city at night look awesome, and the buzz of the traffic sort of off blends into the distance. It's not too loud as you are situated at the back of Patong, up on a hill overlooking it all, which means you can relax quite peacefully if you choose. Grab a beer by the pool and take in all that scenery. Its an awesome spot with great staff, great views, great food and a great pool, spa and gym (not that i used the gym) I'm working on my beer keg :-P I'm sure ive missed something, but that’s about it guys. I highly recommend it for couples. Just remember to respect the serenity and keep the noise to an acceptable level if you're travelling as a family. It's very peaceful and serene there during the day and evening. If you like to make a lot of noise, head down to Bangla Rd or the beach. But if you want a peaceful paradise? This is it. Enjoy :-)

Room Tip: Never used the spa but heard it was nice. Pool access room can be a bit noisy early in the morning i...

Stayed here for 4 nights. Hotel is well located with only 15min walk to Shopping Centre and Bangla road/beach area. Built upon a hill so quiet and peaceful and away from any noise. We really enjoyed our stay, the hotel is very clean, has an amazing pool and bar area, service was good and in summary this is a very modern hotel. Our room was quite high up so we had a decent sea view too. As it is built on a hill face multiple lifts/elevators need to be used to get around the hotel which can be annoying.

We would would definitely stay here again next time we are in Patong, the hotel represents excellent value and I cannot find any faults. Street lighting in the surrounding roads could be improved for night time but this is not the hotel's responsibility and they do provide torches.

Room Tip: room high up with sea view or close to pool if this is where you will spend most of your time.

I stayed here for 4 nights in march, the hotel is an excellent location and only about a 15 min walk to the shopping centre and bangla road. The rooms are clean and new, but compared to the other resorts we stayed in for the same price in Thailand the rooms were lacking the luxurious/ romantic feel that we got at other hotels. They were fairly small rooms with a basic bathroom and no bathtub! The pool was amazing with an excellent view over patong and the pool bar does a great happy hour with excellent cocktails! The breakfast was good, although pretty expensive if not included in your room price ! The staff were absolutely amazing at the hotel, they were so friendly and helpful and really made the stay so enjoyable and would go out of there way to do anything for you !
