The crystal blue water lapping up against the restuarant while enjoying lunch. Friendly service and with a quick dip while waiting for lunch.

As previous mentioned, this beach is now covered with the ugly green fence from a developement property nearby. You cannot have a public access to this beach anymore. The only way to get to the beach is through the one of the restaurant on the beach which you have to pay for the entrance fee but you will get a beach chair for that fee. Still, i felt sad for this beach since it used to be a little getaway from a mad of Patong area. Now we can truely say we have lost this lovely beach for the improper development that's going on

Not exactly the perfect holiday destination, but I think everyone should experience Bangla Road once in their lifetime.

A road lined with knock-off and dodgy shops during the day and at night, the road is blocked off for cars and the dodgy merchandise is replaced with even dodgier go-go bars and pole dancing bars.

Be prepared to be bombarded with men and women holding laminated cards and telling you to see the ping-pong shows.

Also be warned about some bars ripping off their customers with drinks prices.

This is nearly perfect paradise, much quieter and cleaner than Patong's beach but not exactly untouched.

We stayed here on our last stay & it was great. It is out of the way from all the hub bub of Patong but the hotel runs a shuttle bus into town regularly. Its great to come back here away from all the people & noise to relax. Nice little bar on the beach & some great little restaurants in this area too. The Windsulf (sic) is a rickety little restaurant built precariously over the water & it is so rustic & charming. The food is good & cheap too.
