Just had dinner and a couple of drinks here and it was excellent! Try the bbq rock lobster and the thai prawn skewer. Music is superb and the atmosphere great. The breeze of the ocean was perfect for a cool down after walking around in the heat of Patong. Would definitely be back.

We went in the evening for dinner, there was a live band. The restaurant is right opposite to the beach but because it gets dark in the evening, view doesn't really matter. The food was good, the service was little slow but they get your drinks in the meanwhile and the music is awesome. I went there thrice as i was totally in love with that place.

We had a very nice dinner. Compliments of Banthai Resort. Good food. Great music and friendly staff. We would pop in here and listen to the great bands and have a drink. Great entertainment.

We had pad thai, chicken curry and some amazing meat (can't remember what it was). It was one of the best meals we had in Thailand, completely unexpected. Pad Thai was different than in any other restaurant around the world, absolutely wonderful. The only unsatisfactory part was the band that was playing- although they were good, somehow reggae music did not fit well with the Songkran festival. We paid app. $50 for dinner for 3, with some alcoholic drinks, but no dessert.

Fresh seafood out the front
The menu has a wide variety.
Do not eat the Pizzas .. they are rubbish.
Order the seafood and have it cooked to your liking.
We ate Lobsters and Rock Lobsters and some sides.
Be aware of the VAT and service tax. (tip imposed on the bill)
Try and negotiate this when you sit down (this will mean 10% of your bill)
If you are staying at the Baan Thai they will take this off your bill if you tell them you are hotel guests.
Enjoy the live band ... They can be hit and miss but provide a good atmosphere and some dancing opportunities.
Enjoy the pictures
