I simply loved this hotel, a great welcome, cold towels and many happy smiling faces. We were upgraded to a deluxe garden room which was very nice. The hotels location is fantastic. many reviews tell you that you are about 15 minutes walk to the beach and bangla road, what they dont say is that their are loads of shops, stalls and restaurants on route. the hotel is very smart, luxury pools and very clean and tidy throughout. This one gets my highest recommendation.

When I arrived It was what we had imagined The breakfast was fantastic
The room was clean but average. I would have rated it a 4 but my rating changed to a 5 plus, when my 12 year old daughter became extremely ill with hot and cold shivers sweats late at night I panicked . I was alone but The staff were brilliant
We were having a girls holiday and my husband and other children were at home
The staff were absolutely fantastic. They came up with hot and cold face washers throughout the night complimentary drinks and a doctor from the private hospital not public. The doctor arrived within 20 minutes of phone call of course i had to pay and i tipped him very well it was worth it
The staff were caring and went out of their way I would without a doubt recomend the Deevana to anybody We later went Bangkok and stayed at Siam @Siam the place was 5 star but the staff were less than 1 star

We booked a standard room in garden wing and was upgraded to junior suite as
none of the standard room was available. So i was pretty happy with it, as soon as we entered theroom wife complained about lots of things. Rooms was bit smelly and moulds in the shower and toilet, furniture looked pretty tired and old.

So went to lobby and upgraded my room to superiour room in Spa wing for extra 800 baht/perday but we did stayed in garden wing for a day. May be i could
have got a better hotel for this price.

Spa wing was pretty good nice and clean we was on second floor with pool view. Used the poolfew times it was nice and clean, really liked the bar in the pool, its the part of the pool. Buffet breakfast was good plenty of choice, never had any other meal at hotel so cant comment.

Staff at reception was okay wont say good, some staff was good and some bit rude.
Take your own travel adapter i made few trips to receptionfor adapter and every time they said we don't have one and was told that i shouldbuy one from the market.

There is a lady selling banana pancakes in front of the hotel, Delicious! :)

All in all, hotel is average and i can stay there again but not in Garden wing.

We have been alloted a Stabdard room in front ofthe lawn which is at backside of the beach.....not good. But facilities like - pool, lounge, lobby, buffet breakfast was excellent.
Housekeeping service was very bad..it only took action after repeated complaints.

I booked a 5 night package for a single occupancy in the garden wing which included breakfast and a round trip airport transfer.
All this for only AUD$400.
$80 per night.
Upon check in I was upgraded to a superior room overlooking the pool in the main hotel (not spa) it was a twin room for sole occupancy. So I really don't want to complain. However
The gardens could have been better cared for and the rooms needed a good lick and polish to bring them up to scratch. The staff were in the main lovely people and very helpful.
I had two friends already booked into this hotel for the same dates and we had a good time. No problem with the location either. Used the free hotel bus into Jungceylon a couple of times and walked back.

Deevana resort & spa had friendly lobby men whom helped us with all our needs..
The swim up bar was fun because of Mr. T! Happy hour was fantastic!!
The room services & cleanliness failed us in many ways.. Firstly we were never given enough toilet paper, shampoo, soaps etc, secondly we had the cleaner knock on our door giving us a time of when our room was to be cleaned and third the rooms needed to be dusted.
overall.. ok .. if your on the move

The hotel itself is a nice thai style vs some of the hotels you see in Patong. The pool area is not great - either people putting down towels to "reserve" sunbeds or in the pool with the pool bar a bit of a club 18-30 mentality during happy hour.

Food is good for breakfast did not use restaurant for other meals given the glut of decent other places + poor value even for seafood or more western food.

Garden rooms are good if you want more peace and quite the pool side rooms have to put up with club 18-30 in the afternoon and the rooms by the pool with hot tubs had pretty ropey looking hot tubs.

Great location - 10 mins walk to beach and 2 mins from one of the main roads
