Great Hotel - Faultless Stay
5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 31 Oct 2012
My girlfriend and I stayed here in April 2012 for ten nights, on arrival we were escorted to the reception area where we were seated and offered a fruit joice and an ice cold towel which was exactly what we needed after a long flight.

The hotel room included our own plunge pool on the terrace, which was quite cold but good for dipping your feet in after a long day.

The room was a good size and the bed was large (USA King Size), which was really comfortable and we had a great night sleep every night, especially with the black out curtains.

We aren't that bothered about TV on holiday, as thats not what we're there for but we found that on the one morning we decided to stay in bed and watch TV there was plenty of English channels inc a movie channel.

Breakfast was really good, hot buffet style with plenty of choice which was served in the restaurant, above the pool.

The pool has a pool bar, which served both Thai and Western foods which was a little on the expensive side for Thailand but of a good quality and you could eat at the bar while sat in the pool.

The walk down to Bangla Road (Lively Area) it took about twenty minutes or so. This is a good point, as it is far enough away so that you weren't bothered by the noise but close enough to walk to.

All in all, a great holiday and a great hotel. I would recommend this hotel for couples and families.

I stayed here for 1 night before I flew out of Phuket. The room price was very reasonable for a double room. It had a little kitchenette which would be handy for longer stays. The room itself was pretty average, the bathroom was ordinary. The sink only had 1 tap so you couldn't control the water temp. The staff were very helpful, what you'd expect from a resort like this. I checked out at mid day but they had no problem with me using the pool and even provided an empty room for me to use the shower before flying out that evening free of charge. There was great selection at breakfast, the pool was fine although the music they played was not to my liking. There's a balcony bar but it doesn't feel too inviting, it lacks atmosphere. There is pool bar though which was fine if you fancy an outdoor drink. Free wifi too which is handy.

A very nice place indeed. Enjoyed 3 nights of stay here with my family. Very clean place and an excellent breakfast buffet. Nicely located pool - enjoyed our tine with our kid. We had a pleasant experince which I would like to mention - we had forgotten to lock the safe in our haste to catch the early morning islands tour. The cleaning staff had locked it for safety and we found everything intact. Want to give them and the hotel credit for this.

The location is very peaceful and one can enjoy the stay in a serene atmosphere with the lovely garden in front of the cottages

For what we paid the resort is incredibly good value - they were doing some renovations when i stayed so part of the complex including one of the pools was out of access. the only real downside to this was they did start work on it at 8am which is a tad early for my holiday mentality.
The breakfasts are incredible in terms of both content and price.
The staff are wonderful and bend over backwards to help.
The room is clean and functional - again nothing special but more than good value for the price.

My partner and i stayed at the Deevana for 6 nights through a flight center deal and i have to say i was looking forward to seeing if some of the bad reviews i read were correct, which i dont believe they were. The staff were very friendly and happy to help. The room and bathroom facilitys were all clean, neat and tidy. Deevana was about a 5 - 10min walk to the beach which was fine as we got to know some of the locals as we walked by multiple times a day. Breaky was good with a good choice of meals. The only gripe that i have regarding this hotel was the pool closes way to early but all in all a good experience

Room tip: Pool view room is critical
