I went there with my wife in 2010, we booked a superior room through Agoda.com but unfortunately it didn't say that the room has no window (now it does) we had to upgrade the room. Prices were a little bit high but the location is very nice near the Bangala road. there is a show in the hotel lobby so sometimes it was too noisy. the rooms are very clean and nice the room shower is amazing and the tub is HUGE. we had a deluxe room, one of the ones on the roof in the reception building and there roof garden was just outside our room with an amazing seaview. the wifi was only in the lobby area so it was annoying. some of the front desk employees didn't speak good English so depending on the employee sometimes it was hard to communicate.

on this site i saw mixed reviews for this hotel, but to my surprise it was great stay.
we got check in with in 15 mins, they asked for 3000bht security deposit which were charged on my debit card and im still waiting for that refund.

apart from this it was really good stay we were upgrade to deluxe pool facing rooms, it had great view of the resort. the location is really good.

break fast was good and had variety and taste.

Room tip: try the new wing the old wing is not worth it

This property is well managed, the staff very efficient and courteous. We stayed six nights and were very pleased. The breakfast that was included was generous and quite good. The pool is beautiful and very large. The outdoor lounge was fun. Only complaint, the wifi signal in our room was weak, sometimes had to resort to the lobby for good signal. Overall, I highly recommend.

Disappointed with our stay. Not value for money.
Rooms are clean but lobby area is in shambles.

The hotel looks like around 10 years old .... But it is very huge in size .... the pool is spread on the ground floor and bigger than normal hotels .....

Room service is okay ..... Rooms are not very modern as the hotel is old but like I said it is very huge in size and very comfortable .... Good Value for money ....

Location is very good as it is quite close to many restaurants nearby .... Air conditioners installed were of bad quality as temperature would not go down so we were freezing in our stay ... Had to shutdown the AC from time to time :)

Breakfast was okay ....

I would recommend this hotel for one time stay only if you want a budget hotel

Room tip: Get a room on the top most floor .... view from there is very good but mind it that lift comes very late so you have to walk :)

We were meant to be picked up by the hotel driver from the airport. They didn't arrive so we made our own way to the hotel. We were then 'upgraded' to an ocean view room for the inconvenience. We couldn't open the door without banging it with our hip. We then tripped over as we entered the room because the floating wood floor was really 'floating' - it was lifting all over the room. To cap it off, they had pushed two single beds together to make a king! We asked to be moved to a better room. They agreed to move us the next day at 2pm. We got to the desk at 2pm and were told it would be 3pm. We came back at 3pm to be told it would be another half an hour. At the same time there were other guests at the front desk complaining about their rooms. One guest had no hot water for over a day. Another guest had no power! Both guests had been told numerous times that the problems were being fixed, but each had lost their patience. We eventually got into our new room. It was much better than the first, but still not up to a 4 star rating that apparently this hotel has. I would not recommend this hotel and will definitely not be going back again.

Room tip: Don't stay there.
