Wife and I arrived in Patong Beach without any reservations and chose this hotel after one night in a noisy guesthouse. The Leelawadee hotel is nearly new. It is very clean and offers a good degree of privacy except some of the street noise is evident day and somewhat at night. The pool is clean and user friendly...good equipment, private. The adjacent restauant serves a buffet breakfast every morning (included with room price) which is very good. Like other buffet's, the menu does not change much, but they do have a vairiety of hot dishes, eggs, fruit, juice, tea, coffee etc. I would rate it nearly all positive and easily 3 to 4 stars except for the steep drive/walk you must use to enter and exit the building, the location 9which is about 20 minutes walk to the beach, and the surrounding community which needsd some cleaning up. But the area was always safe and the hotel is a bargain for what it offers.

We scored a special last minute deal on booking.com so the hotel was very good value...rooms were spotless and spacious, with all the necessary amenities, airco cable tv fridge safe bathtub...nice little swimming pool...one main negative point would be that the elevator only goes halfway, if you have a room on the C-200 or C-300 floor, then there are 1 or 2 more floors to climb by stairway! Not a problem for me, but older people in my group were not too happy about that! Also it's a fair way to walk to the beach...best is to rent a motorcycle from the traveldesk at the reception, just 150 baht per day

Room Tip: Lots of stairs if you take a room on the 3rd floor, though very quiet

The poolside deluxe room was a good choice ! Simple and clean. Wifi available everywhere within the hotel, rooms, lobby, restaurant and poolside too. 10 minutes walk to the beach, 5 minutes to flea market.

Room Tip: Poolside room would be a good choice. Not stuffy as you can slide the doors and ventilate the entire...

Good price but everything else is just average - perfect if you just want a simple good value place to sleep and spend the days out and about exploring Patong / Phuket like we did - not a hotel where you will spend the whole week in the hotel.

Leelawadee is a very nice look with all facilities is complete and cheap price. But will its facilities really work? For example, the swimming pool is too small. not suitable for people to swimming. I think just sitting in the water and enjoy the jacuzzi is fine. The toilet look very large but without ventilation system. After you use the toilet, it will smelly a whole day.I think the management need to really look on the practicality of the facilities to improve their service in future. Thanks you

Room Tip: double bedroom on top will be better

We stayed in the family room on the ground floor- it was a large room and quiet. The restaurant and pool upstairs were fine for our family. Our daughter was constantly pampered by the restaurant staff, who would braid her hair and tell her to keep out of the sun to keep her skin pale, which we thought was hilarious. The hotel is walkable if you are in good shape, and there are bars and restaurants within walking distance. We tended to go to the cafe close by for ice cream and coffee and I frequented the antique shop next door to it, which had both antiques and replicas that were good value- much better that what was offered at the mall or on the beach. Overall we liked our vacation there and thought we got a good deal.
