Learned the key flavours in Thai cooking and created a couple of fabulous meals to share with my husband in the restaurant afterwards. Really enjoyed the very informative lessons from my teacher Faith. Received a cookbook with some great shortcuts to make this a simple quick way to create very tasty dishes.

We wanted to do a shorter cooking class so booked in for a half day class. We were joined by another 2 couples. The class was short & well planed out with most of the preparation done for you. If you are looking for the full on experience this short class is not the one I would recommend for you.
The lady taking the class was helpful & informative & it was a fun way to gain some Thai cooking knowledge.
Of course getting to eat your creation & sharing with the others was great too.

The facilities are professionally thought through : the founder Pum (we didn't meet her) was educated in UK and owns a chain of restaurants throughout Thailand as well as UK and France.

So besides being able to pound spices, fry dishes individually there were air conditioned rooms where we could sit down to listen to the course leader.

First we were given a booklet with recipes to choose from..each of us in the group picked three.

Then our Thai teacher took us through the various herbs used in the dishes, and good info tidbits like the types of sugar used in Thai cooking (didn't know there were so many), selecting good quality fish sauce.

We selected favorites Iike Paad Thai , Tom Yum , Green Curry, Red Curry.

Best part of it was that our lunch tasted delicious - gives a big boost of confidence to someone whose quite the novice at cooking.

For our group, it was a good bonding session and memories to take home. It's an experience worth recommending.

I had paid the evening before and the School did not have a record of the transaction, so I used my credit card to pay again. The next day the School called to let me know that they had a double payment. I was already on my way to the airport!

To their credit, I received a refund via Western Union in less than a week, which put my worries at rest. They were prompt and I have to give Pum Cooking School top marks for honesty.

I don't cook, but now I know how to cook four dishes quickly and easily that even someone who boils eggs for 40 minutes can feel like a kitchen wiz.
Such a fun class and amazed with how easy and at home I felt in the first few minutes of starting the class. Highly recommended
