What a great location. BYD Loft Apartments comprise of 4 seperate apartment buildings all located a stones throw apart from each other. The street is really quiet considering how close & easy a stroll it is to the Beach.

Heading south from BYD is also an easy walk to Jungceylon & the heart of Patong Beach action. That being said - the street shopping & eating options start at the corner & are endless choices all the way to Bangla Road strip.

All the staff at BYD were super friendly, helpful & provided fantastic service. We had breakfast included which we enjoyed as it covered the usual western goodies enjoyed on holidays as well as Thai.

The room was a good size, serviced daily, had generous size towels & big fluffy pillows & a comfy king bed. Downstairs has a decent & busy (a good sign) Tour desk, plus massage options galore before you even get to the Main Street. No commission currency exchange booth opposite 7-11 store had far better rates than home along with a choice of 3 convenience stores within 50m for anything.

BYD ticked all the boxes for us & we would go back for sure.

Almost one year later, I found myself returning to BYD Lofts. They have maintained their service level consistently. This time, they emailed me before my trip for a pre-survey of my requirements. This shows that they are really committed to giving you a great and comfortable stay.

As I've mentioned in my previous review, the location is perfect. 5 minutes walk to the beach and 10 minutes to Bangla St. Welcome drink was delicious. Room was extremely clean.

Oh, I was served by the same person for my check-in and check-out, and he was really helpful and gave great hospitality. Unfortunately, I forgot to get his name.

And it will not be surprising if I return for the third time!!!
