This was my 2° stay in this hôtel which is very charming and very quiet. The atmosphere is very exceptionnal .The staff is full of dedication and is extremely competent .
The rooms are spacious and are very comfortable.
All you need is to open your eyes and enjoy our stay.
I really strongly recommend this hôtel.

Royal Phawadee Village Patong Beach Phuket Thailand.

We were 4 adults who booked this accomodation via the web. What you see on the web site is exactly what you get and more.

On arrival, we were very early, we expected to leave our luggage and come back later. Instead we were offered a room to use until ours was ready, we were blown away not only by the room but also the gesture. All staff from the front desk through to the ladies that cleaned our room were so friendly and professional. security was top rate, I got up during the night and must have made a noise but security were their checking if all was well. We were so happy with our rooms, interconnecting to accomodate our friends who were travelling with us, they were very clean, modern with plenty of space for suitcases and ample cupboards and drawers for clothes, plus robes and slippers for our use. They offer varied accomodation types so please ask, ours we were told was a standard room, we would not have been aware of that as we thought it was absolutely beautiful. This is a small type of accomodation which is what we were looking for, great pool, absolutely beautiful tropical well maintained grounds. An ATM, mini mart and many restaurants are at your door step when staying here. Our one and only complaint was that the beds are extremely hard and this maybe something the owner, who we met and found to be a delightful gentleman, may look into. For us we give this gorgeous place 5 stars. Eva & Stephen Barry Hobart Tasmania.

I would like to add my opinionï about the Royal Phawadee Village because our friends advise we have booked this hotel last March for August thru the internet. The pictures are nice and good value price. we stay all our holidays in this wonderful place
>
> - First the place is exactly like the web site: smart, peaceful and welcomed.
> - Second the staff is very helpful, smiley and didnt know what to do to satisfy and make guest happy.
> - The breakfast is fabulous. Thanks to a so nice buffet. Huge choice: fresh fruits, bakeries, cereals and Thai specialties! We save the lunch many times.
> - Our room was very beautiful in Thai style, large, comfortable and offered a nice view on the garden and we find the booklet...To be sure we try the 3 restaurants. As we are French and we love the Thai food we need some usual European food. really delicious meal.
> Back home we just want to advice all future guests that you can go to the Royal Phawadee Village without any scare , it is a wonderfull place for have nice hollidays.
> It was for my husband and me our first holiday in Thailand and it will be an unforgettable memory because the Thai people are so nice!

Gee this place was bad.....was supposed to stay for 5 nights and left after 2. I spent some time before my trip to Patong researching hotels and this place looked ok to me. But it all changed on arrival. Now when you check in to a hotel you expect a greeting, like "hello" for example. Well all my girlfriend and I got was a "give me your passports" from the girl at reception who turned out to be the whole reason we left. We were made to wait about 25 minutes for her to do whatever she was doing. The wait was made more interesting when we were brought welcome drinks by a girl who looked like she had just been told her mother had died. Finally we got our room key to the pavillion villa. The bell boy took us there and after telling us where the bathroom was he left. The room had no hotel booklet or info on where dinner was, what time breakfast was served etc, I mean come on folks this is just basic stuff every hotel should have.
We tried to use the shower but there was no hot water, we asked to get it fixed twice before anyone came to help.
The next day my g/friend said to me at breakfast that the service was surprisingly bad, but it got worse. She asked them if they could charge her ipod in their computer that same morning, the boy at reception said no problem. She collected it and we went out for the day. We came back and she asked again, this time to the reception girl. She said no. Long story short we ended up arguing with this girl about something so simple and i think it was the point where she said to my g/friend "well some guy may have done it this morning but i wont" where we realised we had to leave, especially when she started to speak pretty fiercely in Thai right in front of us to her co-workers. It didnt take a genius to figure out what she said. We packed our stuff and went to check out, I asked for the manager. Things then got very confusing. A girl came down from upstairs and i asked if we could discuss the matter privately. We went upstairs and then once she realised she couldnt speak english i was introduced to another man, then he realised he couldnt speak english so the shift supervisor came along. He begged us to stay, even said they had already had many problems with this reception girl. Why leave it till now to fix it then?? Their offer of a free night was just not enough to make us stay, we booked into the Holiday Inn Resort and things got a thousand times better, luckily our holiday was saved.
Our experience was a real shame, considering the hotel itself is quite beautiful, but doesnt matter how nice a hotel is if your staff dont match it.
Ive stayed in 100s of hotels in my life, i have never had to leave for another until now.

Me and my boyfriend stayed at this boutique resort for 6 nights and absolutely loved it! We had a pavilion room with private jacuzzi. The resort has a lovely feel to it with all traditional architecture and lots of greenery, a perfect pool area with the most comfortable sun loungers ever, 3 restaurants all very nice, and all a 2 minute walk around the corner to the main patong beach rd. In our room we were supplied with everything you could possibly need from slippers to umberellas and the little things that make all the difference such as fresh flowers and complimentary bottled water. There is free internet access at the reception.

We, a party of nine adults and teenagers, have just returned from 10 days at this absolutely perfect resort. I have not included any photos, as the ones on the web site are exactly the same as mine. We all found this resort so relaxing, quiet and and the staff accommodating. Position wise, the resort is in a perfect position, handy to everything you could want. Optometrist just over the road, fabulous restaurant over the road, tour operator just up the road, 7/11 just down the road and all just around the corner from the start of all those fabulous markets and for the kids, what they called "party street". The staff at the resort are all so georgeous, try and have a conversation with the shy little man who cleans the pool every day, he is so beautiful. The girls on the desk are all lovely as are all the girls who clean your room every day. Breakfast is included daily, and we all had great meals that mostly took us through to dinner. We can not express just how much we loved this resort and will definately be back next year.

This is a little late in coming but as I'm getting ready to head to Bali for the first time with the same friend, I thought it appropriate to leave a message as TA has been so helpful in booking all my accomodations.

The Royal Phawadee Village is a fantastic stay. It's quite literally 2-5 minutes walk from the beach. The lobby is open air and tastefully decorated in traditional Thai style. No funky smells or over the top decorations, it speaks for itself.

The lobby looks out over the pool which, although unheated, is always clean... and besides who wants to dip into heated water after you've been sweating all day?

We initially booked a pavillion room but when we got there we were told that the room was unavailable. Being that my friend and I have been living in China/Hong Kong for several years now, such changes don't even phase us anymore. If you're picky then you'll easily get annoyed and I generally suggest you don't travel in S.E. Asia...anywhere.
I can't remember the type of room we stayed in, likely a Superior as it was next to the Pavillions.

The rooms are clean and quiet and housekeeping seems particular. All rooms come with an in-room safe that you can programme daily. The staff will show you how to do this.

The beds are nothing spectacular, but when you're just there sleeping does it really matter that much? My friend is quite finicky when it comes to beds, as his bed in Hong Kong is like sleeping on clouds and if he didn't complain, it's unlikely anybody should.

There is free internet in the lobby and breakfast is inclusive with your stay. Don't expect miracles from the breakfast buffet, but I found it was sufficient given that we weren't being charged extra. It's a fairly standard assortment of pastries, fresh fruit (incl. fresh fruit juice) and hot plates... so if you're looking to cure your hangover go down the street and pick up some extremely cheap and delicious satay and bask in the sun.

The staff are extremely hospitable. As with any hotel in S.E. Asia, English is not proficient but most of the staff seemed to have no problem communicating. Though I should note that I have been teaching ESL for 3.5 years in China, so my suggestion is to speak slowly, clearly and use simple sentences. They aren't stupid or deaf, they probably just don't know the words you are using.

Anything that we needed from the hotel was absolutely no problem. It is owned by a French family, so the staff are even able to speak a bit of French. As Canadians, I suppose if English failed us we could have relied on our cloudy French!

We paid extra for a hotel transfer -which is about a 45 minute to 1 hour drive from the airport. They had a VERY nice Toyota truck that we've not seen the likes of in North America. The driver was warm and friendly and quite careful, regardless of us being used to the driving standards in Asia.

Apart from breakfast, we never ate at the restaurants on the hotel grounds. Though I'm sure it was delicious, we found that the prices were pricey and there's a lot of other GREAT food out there within walking distance that's much cheaper.

Overall, fantastic stay and would most definitely stay there again. The grounds are fabulous, the staff wonderful, location couldn't have been better, and room was clean and well kept.
