Our stay was over 2 weeks and our third visit to the property. We stay in the main wing in a deluxe room where space is generous and where all the amenities are. The lobby is one of the most opulent of any International 5 star. Usually one substantial swimming pol is sufficient but two are available. The buffet breakfast is a terrific start to the day and whilst the menu does not change greatly daily, there are plenty of choices to make your own variety. The Resort is an older property by contemporary standards but what it may miss is more than compensated by other opportunities. Shopping is available at all three entry / exist ponts and a good supermarket is handy. The lure of Bangla Road is a stones throw away and fantastic eateries are everywhere. Jungceylon Shopping Centre is also a short walk away for those who wish to think they are either back in large City or Major Precinct. Those who wish to relax with comforting Thai Massage can achieve their desire after a few minutes walk or at the Resort proper. Given the quality of this Resort and its fabulous location we understand why many travellers have returned over 10 times. We would not want to stay elsewhere. Lastly we like to visit mid year when Phuket is quieter and deals around town are sharp.

Room Tip: The Main Wing is where most of the Resorts features are available but some guests may prefer solitud...

stayed here for 3 nites with full of regrets. the rooms somehow seem old and tired and had a very funny smell. further what shocked me is that there were no kettles to boil water in the room. i have never experienced that before. however, its simply close to everywhere in patong. you could walk to bangla road, jugceylon, patong beach, hard rock. it was in the middle of everywhere. only positive review i could give is that everything was within walking distance. breakfast was ok. service was staff was very poor. but trust me there are a million more nicer places to stay in phuket. if you have to choose, please dont choose this one

I have visited Phuket twice now over the past 3 years, both times staying at the Patong Resort.

I have to say i'm in love with Phuket, I love the shopping and the food and the beach. Staying at a hotel that is central to all of these things ensures for a most enjoyable holiday.

I stayed in the older wing of the hotel in 2009 and again in 2011, hoping for another return in 2013!! Fingers crossed!!

They have a large buffet breakfast, but I couldnt help but get over some of the food, which is expected day after day. But they had the sweetest, tastiest fresh fruit, I haven't been able to find pineapple to match theres over here in Australia.

The staff at the hotel do as much as they can to make you happy and ensure your stay is a memorable one.

I know that if I get to return to Phuket, i'll be staying here again, the location is unbeatable!!!

The only negative was that my partner is a gym fanatic and was heart broken when he discovered this hotel had no gym!! But luckily we were right around the corner from a gym!

Room Tip: The older wing of the hotel has better views!!

We have stayed here before and decided to bring a lot of friends back to enjoy the location and cleanliness of this hotel. The staff this time around are more friendlier, also they now have theme nights around the pool and a band playing in the cocktail bar.
As we had over 50 people staying with us this we tried to all get the same floor which was really difficult but the manager tried really hard to accommodate us and even ugraded some of our friends which was wonderful.
The air conditioning was great and our rooms large and clean. Beds as always in Thailand have hard mattresses. actually at this hotel most of the beds are king singles that you have to push together to make a double which I found unusual. Loved staying at this hotel and will definitely stay again.
Best location central to everything, 2 large pools, but no gym, sushi restaurant and steak house available. Foyer is really large with marble floors looks great and wonderful to walk back in as the air con is fantastic.
Oh one more thing really hard to communicate via email to this hotel as they either dont respond or take a long time to answer your inquires.
have fun we did
Anni :)

Room Tip: Make sure you upgrade to delux and overlooking the pool.
