“Beautiful location”
Reviewed 20 December 2012

The resort staff were lovely we had a nice welcome. Room was big and clean. I went with just my cousin on a girls trip so the pool was so nice to relax at. The resort does a cooking class, we really enjoyed it, I recommend you must try. We also had a massage at the resort spa I wish I had more. The tourism place around the corner from the resort were great help they organized our day trips and transport. If you are planning on going out in patong hire a car or scooter (if confident going up and down massive hills) taxi's are expensive back and forth and there are no Tukk Tukks in rawai. I would go back and stay here!

Quick disclosure: we selected the hotel because a friend's relative works here. That said, we could not have been happier with the results. The rooms are big, clean and comfortable. Breakfast buffet offered many tasty options. Many have commented on the pool which looked lovely, but we ended up taking the free shuttle to both Nai Harn and Yanui beaches. Yanui is a little rockier and smaller, but both beaches are so nice, it made it easy to forget the gorgeous pools. The hotel is about a kilometer from the "gypsy village" near the Rawai pier where you can buy fresh prawns, fish, crab and have it all cooked to order. It is a two minute drive from the sunset viewing at Cape Promthiep. There are a lot of great reasons to stay within the hotel (good restaurant, fabulous pools, reasonable mini-bar) but its location will encourage you to see everything Rawai has to offer.

The resort is new with a large pool and unusual rock landscaping. There is a lovely sandy pool for children. The hotel restaurant is very reasonable and offered meals at similar prices to the local restaurants. There is a little cafe, a restaurant and a swim up pool bar so plenty of options for food and drink. Our room was nice on the 1st floor with a balcony looking down on the pool area. The shower door still had paint splashes on it that cleaners hadn't bothered to remove after the building had been completed. Be aware that Rawai is a working fishing village. There is nothing here other than restaurants and a couple of 7 eleven stores. Also no beach to swim at. The resort does offer a shuttle bus at set times to several nearby beaches. So whilst the hotel is lovely the area was a bit too quiet for us.

Lovely new hotel. Big swimming pool and great sun beds with big umbrellas. Great restaurant at the hotel. We ate there everyday for lunch. Stayed in a Deluxe room w/pool access. The room was big, clean (!), and had a flat screen with numerous of channels. The staff was friendly and very welcoming. Unfortunately the hotel is located in an area that is really quiet, and there is not a lot of places to eat at. Stay at this hotel if you are looking for a private get-away from all of the noise in Phuket. Would come back if the area "wakes up" a little bit in the future, as the hotel is really perfect.

We spent our 2nd week of a 2 week holiday at this resort, we had purchased a getaway deal which included breakfast, massage and 20% discount on all food and drink within the resort restaurants/bars, not once were we treated any differently to any other guest, our room was beautiful, clean and comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly, accommodating and always had a smile for us. We will definitely be returning to this hotel on our next visit. We loved this quiet little fishing village, and loved that if we needed to, it was only 20 minutes to the heart of Patong. Our friends had the pool access rooms, and those rooms were also impressive.

This is a new hotel with spacious and clean rooms. Breakfast is very good with good variety. Nice little room near the entrance where you can borrow books and magazines. Pool is clean and big with a nice bar. Very good location near Rawai beach which i find one of the nicest areas in Phuket. Just a 15-20 minutes ride to other areas. Only little downside is the staff, some are very friendly but some did no get the meaning of service. For example: when arriving the bell boys were just standing there talking to each other and to the front desk staff, they saw us but did not make any attempt to welcome us and get our bags.... But i would still recommend.

Just across the street you can rent a motorbike so you can explore the island

We stayed here in the first week of october. We had purchased a getaway deal and upgraded to a pool access room. I had read a lot of reviews from here and was a little worried about some of the negative reviews but in my experience, Everything was fantstic! great value for money. the mini bar was cheap and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was cleaned everyday and the cleaning staff were always smiling and there to help. My daughter and i did a thai cooking class which was a lot of fun. buffet breakfast every morning and the open plan restaurant was great. private transport was readily available and in my opinion not badly priced. The pool was fantastic and where the kids spent a lot of time. as soon as you walk in the pool takes your breath away. very well set out. rawai beach is quieter than other tourist beaches which i thought was great. I had read a few reviews about staff not being able to speak english very well and i was a little surprised by this.I found their english skills to be fine, however we are in a country where english is a second language and i think it is very arrogant to expect every one to speak english extremely well regardless of the industry they are in. i personally think we should be learning to speak thai as what is the point in going overseas if you are not willing to embrace their culture. which is exactly what we did . there were no major language barriers, the staff were so lovely and helpful we will definitely stay there again.

Room Tip: with the pool access rooms, you open your room door to the bathroom. surprises you at first but it w...
