Having found the hotel by chance, we spent 10 amazing days in what can only be described as the perfect setting. Rooms were comfortable with great aircon. There was no kettle or fan for the terrace but we only had to ask and they were supplied. Rooms were cleaned daily and towels changed daily. Hotel was in the most convenient location with everything on your doorstep. Staff were friendly and helpful and the inclusive breakfast, which if required you could have on your terrace was an added bonus.If you do check in here please find the time to meet the resident font of knowledge Ann. She made our holiday complete. Would highly reccommend Thai Palace Resort and will definately be going back.

This was our last stop in Thailand and we were really glad we chose this hotel. The furnishings in the room were really modern and it was lovely and clean.

It's a good spot for exploring Rawai, very easy to hire a long tail for a days snorkling and a very short and cheap taxi ride over to the west coast to enjoy the sunset.

Really cant fault the hotel, which was lovely, but Rawai itself is rife with older gentlemen (if that's what you call them) courting younger ladies.
My husband and I went for a drink in what seemed a fairly lively bar on our first night here. There were only a couple of chairs spare so my husband asked if we could take one that wasn't being used so that we could sit together. The man he requested the seat from reacted pretty aggressively, even though it was quite clear that the seat wasn't taken, so we decided to leave. We worked out the reason for the overreaction in the next bar, basically it was old man - empty seat - old man - empty seat. Those empty seats are reserved in the hope a pretty young Thai girl might come and join them :-(

But on the whole, Rawai is a great place to go, just a little less developed than other resorts which brings many benefits but unfortunately, it also means its the perfect spot for old western men to do what they want to away from the judgmental eyes of too many tourists.

We stayed in this hotel for one night whilst visiting family in the area. Our first impressions of this hotel were very good. This was a small hotel where the staff were friendly and welcoming and we were able to check into our room on arrival even though we arrived at 11am. The grounds of the hotel were pretty with a pond with large koi carp and a swimming pool in the middle of a well kept garden area. The hotel is ideally located across the road from the prom and beach in Rawai although the beach did not appear suitable for swimming and sunbathing due to the tides but was lovely to walk along. Our room was spacious and clean with a balcony overlooking the garden area. We also enjoyed the breakfast with a selection of different choices from the menu in the restaurant.

Sadly our stay was spoilt due to a very poor night’s sleep although this was not the fault of the hotel. We stayed in the block of rooms next to the road and were in a room right at the end of the block. When going to bed, there was loud music playing close by which we heard until about 5am. We could feel the vibrations of the music as we lay in bed as well as hearing it. When finally getting to sleep, the family in the room next door woke up at about 7am and we were able to hear them through the adjoining wall. The hotel does offer bungalows set back from the road and these may be quieter.

Had we booked this as our main hotel for our holiday, I think we would have struggled with the lack of sleep. It was a shame as the hotel otherwise offers a beautiful, tranquil setting with lovely staff.
