It started when we had the Russian leadership of the resort to pay the bill at the very beginning in cash plus a security deposit of 500 THB for the room key, although according to the description would accept credit cards. Then we got to the room, very small, very dark, and as it turned out later, also at extremely noisy from the street and from a Russian disco at the beach. In the bathroom was an urinal, ok, but filled with chemicals that have such an odor that whenever entering nausea arose.
In fact, the entire area is dominated by Russians, not even the menus of the resort was in English, only Thai and Russian.
The first evening, the water fell out and was not fixed the next morning at 09.30, then we had to leave for a tour without shower. A discount for this defect was rejected at the end, because that was "normal", even though the rest of the bay had water and a pump of the resort was broken.
The staff was very rude, check out was difficult because at 10.30 nobody was at the desk, even though we had announced at breakfast at 09.00, where they offered only fried eggs and toast and jam, our wish to leave the resort at 10.30. The waiter promised to inform the boss by phone, which he did not, because he didn’t have her number, what it turned out later on. Our driver picked us up had to wait 20 minutes until someone finally came.
On the beach you have to get yourself deck chairs for a fee.
We will certainly go there never again.

Room Tip: Do not go there

1800thb per night, room absolutely NOT valuable for the money!this is the 6th resort in Thailand I visited...worth for max 700thb! Old bungalow, noisy 20years old stinky fridge. Every morning woke up because of smash heavy vehicles - neighborhood under construction. Pisoar in the shower. Old TV with no signal. No free socket for charging your phone etc. Breakfast ok. Russian girl /maybe owner/ not smiley person, we felt unwelcome. The only cause why we didnt run away was nice Naithon beach directly across the street! Beach everytime empty, big waves early evening, many restaurants. /Patong and Surin beach crowded with people - cannot compare with Naithon/. Banana beach - best beach on Phuket few km away. No nightlife and shopping in this area. To Patong 50min with motorbike.

Just came across this listing and had to write a review - though it's nearly 5 months ago since we stayed here (for 3 nights). These are basic wooden chalets on the main beach road in a central position. That's the best I can say about the place. I'm reluctant to give the details, it was so bad, but here goes...........

We had pre-paid, booking online directly with the 'hotel'. When we were waiting to check in, another couple were complaining that their pre-paid airport transfer failed to turn up. We were charged again, though we'd pre-paid, then refunded. The first chalet we were shown smelt musty and had an overflowing rubbish bin outside. The next one was better, we thought, but the bathroom was disgusting, so when we complained they cleaned it. At least the bedsheets looked clean so we stayed.

At breakfast time (8.30 am) no-one was around, then a girl came from a shower in the back and eventually made us some coffee and eggs (no bread, she said). We didn't bother the next 2 days, though our room rate (which wasn't particularly cheap) included breakfast. We asked to see the owner but was told he was in Phuket town.

Nai Thon itself has a gorgeous beach with lovely beach restaurants and is an excellent choice for a peaceful short stay near the airport, but don't stay here - it should be closed down. When we booked, the nearby Naithonburi was full, and we were fooled by a good website and a detailed email reply which we then realised was sent by a translater employed by the owner. We did see the Angel of Naithon which looked good budget accomodation in nice grounds though we didn't view inside.
