we went as a family of 10, 6 adults and 4 kids. the hotel iself was fine nice and clean, the bar staff where not very friendly quite rude some times. the animation team where great Stephan was a hoot they did do such a good job. the food was just terrible we had to end up eating out in the second week of our holiday which you dont expect to do when you pay for an all inclusive holiday. hamment is also a bit out the way for us last time in tunisia we stayed in the port loved it there. if you do go please book the camel caravan it was one of our best days out and it was not booked through the travel agent.

To everybody, whom plans to visit Tunisia,

We started our holiday with high expectations and we were not disappointed. As writers we travel extensively through North Africa and The Middle East. We were quite surprised at the levels of professionalism displayed by all members of staff from cleaning, catering, entertainment to supervisory and management. They made every effort to make our stay as comfortable and memorable as possible.

Special thanks to Stefan and The Animation Team (we have not laughted or been entertained so well in such a long time). The shows were fantastic.

The food was excelent and reflected all the diversity and taste that Tunisia has to offer. There was something for everybody.

To Mehdi, Tarek and all the other reception staff thank you so much for your care and attention to detail.

All excursions were well organised by the hotel staff. The room we were given was very modern, comfortable and throughly enjoyable. We felt like we were at home.

Most importantly in these troubled times we felt safe and secure at all times at this resort.

Some people have complained about The Vincci Nozha Beach Hotel for various reasons but for North African standards we found this hotel to be an excellent place for our holiday. We took back so many great memories and look forward to our next holiday at this hotel.

Best wishes to Rimeh Ben Salem, Director General, and all his enthusiastic team!!!

Great job and see you soon.

Highlights:
* Great location on a quailty beach
* Great hotel layout
* A bonus having an indoor pool
* El Jem is doable on a day trip and well worth it
* Mini disco loved by the kids
* Staff all very friendly

Lows:
* This hotel definitely has a fly problem. They are continually all over the food. I never saw any measures to rectify.
* Food is exceptionally poor. Choice is very limited and stomach bugs waiting to happen (and they did, fortuntely we avoided by eating hot pasta every day). In addition to the flies food was regularly undercooked.
* Kids club only available 4 days a week and then you have to pay for 2 of the days
* Nothing to see in the resort or immediately outside the hotel
* Alcoholic drinks tasteless. I thought rum was one of the main spirits but only on offer at night. Hotel also ran out of white wine.

A fair review from a well travelled person

returned home sunday 16th october after another great two weeks at this hotel. We went to this hotel the same time last year and had such a good time we booked again for this year and werent dissappointed. We travelled as a family of 3 adults and 2year old child got to the hotel at quarter to eight in the evening, after a speedy transfer from the airport, we were quickly booked in and shown to our room, which was spacious and very clean. After a quick freshen up we went to grab a bite to eat and were in time to take my granddaughter to the mini disco.
The next morning there was no problem getting sunbeds as it did seem quite quiet at the hotel although it did get busier after a couple of days but still didnt have to get up at the crack of dawn to reserve beds. The pool was lovely and very inviting on the very warm days. Animation staff were all brilliant and didnt force you to join in anything if you didnt want too,but by the end of the 2 weeks we were all doing something even my 20yr old daughter!!
Aqua aerobics done by mouhanned was very good and you really knew you had done some excersize and if it was raining or abit cooler he done this in the indoor pool.
We had 2 or 3 days of rain unsettled weather but this didnt stop the entertainment as they did as much as they could indoors. The mini disco was enjoyed by my granddaughter and also the shows and were well worth seeing as they made us all giggle.
The food i have to say was better than last year and none of us had any problems with funny tummies, yes there were alot of flies and things were kept under glass counters but if people go there and leave them open the flies will get on the food!! There was always something to eat for everyone and yes it can get repetitive but isnt that like it whatever hotel you go too,at least by the second week you knew what you were getting.
All in all we had a lovely holiday and met some lovely friendly people and will definetly be booking again for next year. Please dont let the negitive reviews put you off of this lovely place and country it is well worth a visit.

We stayed here last September (2010) and thought that it was that great that we booked to go again. We went last Sunday 9th Oct. On arrival at approx 09.50, we were told we would have to wait 4 hours for our room to be vacant and cleaned and could only offer us breakfast and the reception area. After around 40mins we were told our room was ready. We grabbed our suitcase, which was then quickly taken from us by a porter and was told that they would bring it to our room. We did argue and say we could manage but they wouldnt have any of it. We waited a further 40mins in our room for our suitcase and could not wait any longer and decided to go and get it ourselves!
By the time we unpacked the heavens opened. There was absolutely nothing to do, no entertainment, no nothing!

The following day the weather was great and on returning to our room after a day in the sun put the air conditioning on. The air conditioning hardly blew anything out and was found to be only tepid in temperature. We complained and was told that out of season it only works if the outside temp reaches 28+. Our room was like an oven! There was nothing we could do to cool down. Travellers beware! It was scorching most of the week and other families with children were complaining too.

The food this year was horrendous. What ever was left from dinner was most certainly served up for tea in some shape or form. If you like plain pasta, rice and copious amounts of french stick you will be fine. Breakfast was 50/50, if you had the right chef you would get crepes which were cooked to perfection or on other days cremated on one side. Beware of the toaster, toast hardly done if placed in once and cremated if placed in again! Overall the food was very repetitive all week and by Wednesday we started to skip dinner and just wanted to go home.

Flies are a massive problem here. They are everywhere in massive swarms. They are all over the food with no attempt to cover anything up. You spend most of your holiday wafting these pests away. Don't think about eating outside either, no sooner you put your plate on the table they've pitched all over your food.

The only good thing about this hotel is its location. The beaches are clean and so are the rooms and the pools. The hotel is impressive but is not a 4 star. Change the food, get rid of the flies and turn on the air conditioning that we pay for in an 'All Inclusive' hotel and it might just make a poor 4 star.

If I was offered a flight back to any UK airport mid week then I would of taken it. Never going back!!!!

arrived at enfidha airport which was an impressive modern building taken by somewhat slow coach to the hotel which was the most impressive of the five we stopped at on our way down . through two security gates ! given a room with a view of the car park sea views are 25 dinars extra per night , fridge in the room is extra too! room very comfortable only one english tv channel!first day was mixed cloud/rain/sun lovely pool a little cold but no problem in hot sunshine next five days hot sun like summer in spain best part of the holiday. right next to the beach which was handy sea warm not much to see snorkelling. alcoholic drinks available from 11am onwards ok but served in blue plastic beakers choice of alcohol somewhat limited. certainly a problem with flies in the hotel in the room also at the buffet restaurant and the beach , worse at the snack bar hawkers not too bad a problem buffet restaurant not great same ingredients cooked differently every day complained about it to the rep the hotel staff tried to improve it but not hugely successfully breakfast ok lunch best meal dinner often very poor was fed up with it by day one two specaility restaurants on site couldnt see much difference in quality of the food would seem to be budgetary constaints by the hotel causing limited food quality .told not to drink the tap water as caused illness. ventured out of the hotel once area very rundown and backward hash offered regularly. last day heavy cloud and rain.all in all a good choice for winter sunshine plus only two hours twenty minutes from gatwick.i know its a cheap holiday but the food really is not very good and needs changing.tunsians friendly enough.

Ive just come back on Sunday from a week here but wish I came back sooner... I work for a travel agents.... And this is not a 4*... Staff rude... It took them 20mins or so for them to ask for drink orders.. We ended up asking half the time... (u shouldn't have to in a 4*) and one night i asked for a drink the glass still had lipstick from the previous drinker round the rim..they took ages clearing tables... The food... There is no Choice... U seem to que alot I.e waiting for fried egg... Or even at the bar... The pool slides are not on all through the day only periods at a time... The entertainment is very boring... Sunbeds u seem to have to get up at like 6.30 to get one if not then well...

FLIES EVERYWHERE!!!

I will defiantly not be recommending this hotel... Ive been Tunisia 3 times and now put me off...
