Have just returned from a two week holiday in this hotel and enjoyed it very much. Rooms are a little outdated but very clean, and it would have been nice to have had at least more than one English TV channel (only BBC world news), we had a few little problems on the first day (leaking toilet flush & cupboard door hinge hanging off) but as soon as we told reception a maintenance man was there to fix it. Reception staff very helpful & polite and bar staff even more so. Restaurant clean and tidy, had to wait a few times for plates but very busy as height of season. Some people complained about the food saying not enough selection, using meat the following day in another dish if left over (which is what a lot of hotels do) but to be honest there was always plenty to chose from and you wouldn't go hungry. The entertainment team were brilliant and always made sure that everyone was occupied throughout the day. All in all a good holiday and I would recommend a stay here.

Me, my Fiancé and friends stayed here for a week from 29th July- I hadn't been to Tunisia before and have to say whilst on the transfer wished I hadn't gone BUT this hotel was fab.

Everywhere was spotless and I mean spotless couldn't fault it, staff were lovely always smiling and friendly. Food was good, not great and abit repetitive but certainly enough choice and well cooked.

I can' speak highly enough of the maids here they are brilliant, our room was cleaned everyday and fresh towels/bedding everyday (always leave a tip) they work such long hours and in crazy heat but she was always lovely and always went out of her way to say hello!

Pool was lovely as were the barstaff at the pool bar (tip them and you will get proper glasses and full drinks ;)

I've certainly left the best till last though and without a doubt the best part of this hotel is the animation team (Tunisian) what a laugh we had with them all they are always upto something and getting everyone involved I got thrown in the pool on more than one occasion by them lol!

All in all I couldn't fault the place and would certainly go back, a week is enough though, there are a lot of Italians and Germans who stay here and I have to say both are rude and arrogant but like me just ignore them (as do the staff also)

the best advice I can give is to tip just 1 dinar here and there to barstaff and leave 1 or 2 dinar on pillow for maid a few times a week- it really does go a long way. There isn't much at all to do outside of the hotel, a couple of bars and shops but not much at all, Panarana bar facing hotel is great, cheap and staff are lovely too but all closes around 11. if your looking for a boozy crazy holiday this isn't the one but if you want to just chill out then I'd say get there.

We stayed at the Vincci Nozha from 2-16 July and were a bit concerned before going about some of the reviews. The hotel was excellent. It was spotlessly clean and the facilities were just superb. The staff were so helpful and friendly - yes we tipped the bar staff and waiters a few dinars but that was nothing compared to the service we received. If you were polite and friendly to them then they were polite and friendly back. Special mention to Abdoul for selling us the camel caravan excursion we all had such a good time and very good value for money, we would recommend this to everyone who goes there. The only thing that lets this hotel down was the food - it has to be the worst food we have every had on a holiday. They do not cater for British people at all. There was always chicken and beef dishes available every day but the beef was so fatty and tough that you couldn't eat it and the chicken was all bones and skin. Breakfast was ok as you could get freshly made omelettes and fried eggs every day but who eats salad at breakfast? You could get pizzas made freshly but they were a bit under cooked so you couldn't eat them either. There were 4 of us on holiday and we all got to the stage we dreaded meal times as some nights we ended up with soup, bread and chips. Good job the shop in the hotel sells crisps as that what was what we ended up eating most evenings. We still enjoyed our holiday despite the food.

Room Tip: Family sea view rooms are worth the extra

Myself, my partner and his two teenage children (13 and 15) stayed here for 7 nights from 9th to 16th July 2014. Before booking the holiday we had read the reviews, and being a seasoned traveller I knew how to take both the very good and very bad reviews with a pinch of salt, however we were still a bit wary but booked the holiday nonetheless as the hotel had all the family facilities that we were looking for.
We flew from Aberdeen with Nouvelair on an evening flight and with the flight delay boy were we glad that we had booked a private taxi transfer with Resort Hoppa straight to the hotel - none of the waiting about for the Thomas Cook transfer coach.
After all the poor reviews we had read, we were pleasantly surprised with the hotel - we could not fault the staff, the cleanliness, the food etc, which seem to be the most complained about aspects of people's holidays here.
We found all the staff pleasant, hard working, and all that we encountered could speak English - most of them very well. The entertainment/animation staff work extremely hard and for very long hours - they are a great bunch of guys with whom we had a good laugh and we couldn't praise them enough.
When we booked our holiday there was not an option to upgrade the rooms at that time to Sea View, so we did this on arriving at the hotel at a cost of 20 dinar per room per day. We also hired a fridge so we could keep our drinks cold (7 dinar per day), and a safe (2 dinar per day). Our rooms (2133 and 2153) were cleaned on a daily basis and to a good standard.
We found that there was a decent variety of food for breakfast, lunch and dinner and we never went hungry. We always ate in the al-a-carte buffet restaurant as the chips, burgers etc served for lunch at the poolside bar were not our thing and we preferred a proper meal. We also never ate at the Italian or Tunisian restaurants. As well as the food being plentiful, we always found it hot and well cooked and never had any issues. My partner is a Coeliac and therefore cannot eat wheat or gluten in his diet and even he found plenty to eat.
The only issues we had with this holiday were the daily 5:30am sunbed run - if you were any later than this then you would struggle to get sunbeds and a parasol. But we just made the most of this and went for walks along the beach and swam in the sea - it's beautiful at this time of day. Also the Russians were pretty rude, arrogant and obnoxious (but this you can't blame on the hotel) - mainly in the restaurant where they would queue jump and take unbelievable amounts of food. But if you would just wait a few minutes the food would be topped up again.
All in all we had a very good holiday. I would like to point out to the many reviewers who write their disappointment at the 4 star rating of the hotel, that this is a 4 star Tunisian hotel - not a 4 star British hotel - if you go expecting The Dorchester then you will be sorely disappointed.

Room Tip: Sea View rooms worth paying for the upgrade.

OK well me and my girlfriend got a very good price for this hotel and are still here on our 2 week holiday (whats suppose to be relaxing). Start of with the good points of this hotel, the waiting staff and cleaners are very polite and sociable people, they really do try make you feel well looked after. The animation team and kids club is probably what makes this hotel just about survive, and to find out they get paid absolute peanuts compared to rest is disappointing. The bad points - this hotel has to many rude inconsiderate people and a consistently poor standard of food served in a free for all style. You would need to get up at 5.30am to get yourself a sun bed ..... not even a joke, the germans & Russians will be down at 5am putting all their pool stuff out. But even when you get your stuff down at that time i guarantee your personal belongings will be moved and the sun beds taken by the very very rude foreigners. The reception service is awful, they are very very rude and offer no help what so ever. (Pointless speaking to them). If your british your way to polite to come to this hotel, the other foreigners just push in the queues in breakfast, lunch, dinner and even for a drink ... manners don't cost anything in this world.
I have witnessed the foreigners putting their hands in the pasta and grabbing vast amounts of food so no one else can get a look in, yet again no consideration for other guests. Also witnessed an obese french women who sat in the chairs outside and urinate herself and leave it for other guests to walk through, so plenty of kids could of run through it. The food is not a good standard, you would of thought they would know that chicken shouldn't be pink, I'm sick of eating rice, pizza and bread .... wouldn't risk touching any meat, poultry and fish, it really isn't worth putting yourself in harms way. Outside the hotel you will get hassled and hassled until you just can't be bothered to even leave the hotel, they get very rude and pushy if you do not enter the sihks shops etc, their is not much to do in hammamet nord so you have to travel far to yasmine hammemet to get a nice tourist environment with plenty of restaurants and activities. You end up spending a lot of money eating out and getting away from the hotel because of the poor food and lack of activities surrounding the place.

Our highlight of the holiday was going to see the dolphins at their animal park, but it comes at very big price of 280 dinar for the overall trip. When in most countries you can swim with dolphins.

Overall its a very poorly run hotel with very very rude foreign guests who have no manners and have no consideration for other guests and with a very poor service of food. This holiday has made me really think how lucky i am to live in the UK, steer clear of this place no matter what the price and just pay that bit extra for a nice hotel in yasmine hammamet or another country for that matter.

Hope this review helps your decision.
