“Lovely holiday”
Reviewed 1 September 2014 via mobile

We stayed at Vincci Nozha last two weeks of August. We had a very good time. Yes the food can be repetitive but one thing I would say is that they do not cater well for vegetarians ie someone who doesn't eat meat fish or eggs. The breakfast wasn't all that apart from omelettes and the juice they serve at breakfast is not nice. No beans/mushrooms either. Also when you come into restaurant it would be nice if you were shown to a table and asked what you would like to drink with it being an all inclusive. Also at dinner You will be lucky to get a drink on time. If you tip a regular waiter then they will go all out for you. Also go dinner around 7-730 to avoid busy times as if we went after that it was a awful (People
queuing and pushing in). They pack up pretty quick, by 9pm food has been all cleared. Animation team are good Ibrahim in particular. Sofa pub downstairs is not all that as hardly no one goes so on a couple of nights went into town to Latinos and Havana. Would recommend pirate boat trip and quad bikes

We have just returned from a 2week holiday at this hotel. We travelled as a family with 2 children age 7 & 15 years. Overall we all had a wonderful time.
All of the staff are so helpful with smiles, they all work really hard. Our room was interconnecting which provided us with lots of space it was dated but very clean, but the best bit was the fantastic sea/pool view .... Breathtaking! The bar and waiter staff are so friendly and most will have a chat and joke with you especially Neeza and Fedi who provided us with plenty of cocktails and beers in glasses! The animation team are all wonderful and work hard throughout the whole day with fun games which get everyone involved, water aerobics, group dances ( which I will really miss!) and excellent shows at night including fire & laser party and foam party..... Big thank you to all the animation team especially Abdoul and Mido. The food was good with plenty of choices and we all ate well in all of the choices of restaurants especially restaurant on the beach with great views. The food can be repetitive but when they are catering for such a large amount of people what can you expect!! Our waiter Anis was great we tipped him and each night was welcomed with flowers on our table and drinks ready!
We enjoyed a lovely spa session which is well worth a try, also a few trips out. We did have an issue on one trip but Milly the rep sorted out very quickly.
Overall we all had a fantastic holiday and would highly recommend this hotel and Tunisia. I am missing being there so much, a big thank you to everyone for such a lovely holiday x

Ok so after reading the very mixed reviews before we left we were anxious about what we would find, but we've just returned from 14 nights and these are our views on some of the common threads.
The animation team are fantastic, they work incredibly hard and do like you to get involved. Water aerobics and yoga were good. They took a particular shine to our 13 year old daughter and tried to make sure she was having fun. The flip side of this of it can feel a little like Ibiza with loud dance music blasting all morning, you can avoid this by being on the beach though.

Cleanliness- the hotel was being constantly cleaned but the public area toilets were often broken and deep in water presumably from the bidet shower head. Maid service seems to have depended on which floor and section you were on. Our section maid didn't clean the bathroom very often and on more than one occasion there were no towels until after the evening meal. When we asked the bedding to be changed no cover was left for our daughters duvet for a week.

Staff - we found the waiters and bar staff to be incredibly friendly. They really appreciated politeness and few dinars tips. Neezar was fantastic and would even do us sunbed service to see if we needed a drink bringing and kept us all entertained with his colourful use of English!

Food - it was ok, no major complaints apart from breakfast which was woefully inadequate for English tastes but the rest was ok but after 10 days became a little repetitive.
We ate a few times at the Panorama restaurant opposite the hotel, always a great meal with good service for a reasonable price. Their fillet steak was fantastic!

Milly the rep was very helpful, we had a problem which she quickly sorted out.

Unfortunately I'm not sure of the reception staff, whenever we went with an issue - no towels or electricity for the last two nights and they would say they has sorted it when they hadn't.

Overall it was a good holiday for the price. The hotel needs smartening up and forget wifi, unless you try to use it at 6- 7am you can't get on.

Apart from a couple of minor hiccups I had no complaints. Even the one rude member of staff on reception couldn't ruin a great holiday here. Our room was massive and exceptionally clean. I wanted a quiet room so got no real view but a peaceful night! food was above the norm at over all inclusives I have been too. Fresh cooked omelettes and steaks etc and loads of choice. Never ending supply of water. the pool area was constantly cleaned. right on the beach with a huge warm pool there were 8 in our party and adults and teens loved it. What made the holiday so amazing were the brilliant animation team. These guys work tirelessly day and night and are very cheeky and funny! thanks for a great holiday guys x

I visited with my partner and 2 children (ages 6 and 18 months)for 14 nights between the 6th and 20th of august. After reading some reviews and looking at some pictures we were a little nervous abpabout what to expect, but we needn't have been. We had an amazing time and would definitely recommend it to anyone thinking of visiting Tunisia. I'd like to address some of the negative reviews that we saw before we came.
1. The Staff
All the members of staff that we came across, from the receptionists to the waiters and maids were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They could not do enough to make sure that we had a good time and that we were happy.
2. Cleanliness
The hotel is immaculate and there are always people around cleaning the pool area and the communal areas. The maids do a fantastic job and our room was always a pleasure to go in after they had made it up. It does help to give the maids a small tip as we found that we got extra towels and toiletries when we did.
3. The Service
The service was quick and efficient and the bar and wait staff are always smiling. One thing we did notice is how rude some of the guests were to the bar staff and showed a complete lack of manners (no please or thank you). This costs nothing in my book and seemed to go a long way with the staff. The waiters in the restaurant we really good and made a huge fuss of my children at every meal time. Again, if you leave them a small tip it majes a difference to them and they will remember you, reserve you a table and remember your drinks order so that your drinks are there as soon as you sit down.
4. The Food
A lot of the not so flattering reviews claim that the food was repetitive and not the best. In our experience I can honestly say I dont know what these people are talking about! In the 2 weeks we were there, there was something different on the menu everyday. They do have a staple menu (pasta, pizza, chips, etc.) but the variety is great and there is always plenty to choose from. I do have 2 slight criticisms however. Firstly, the breakfast is poor in that there is not a great deal of variety and not anything that is worth getting out of bed early for. Secondly, the layout of the buffet is not the best and at busy periods, can turn in to a bit of a scrum to get the food you want. This isn't helped by people just pushing right to the front of the queues (usually the Italians).
5. Entertainment
The entertainment is ok if you are the type of person that likes to be involved in things. The animation team are always around the pool area but didnt really both us to much (thankfully!) The majority of guests in the hotel appeared to be Italian so most of the evening entertainment seemed to aimed at them but the little we saw was good and worth watching.
6. Standards and rooms
There were a few fittings in our room that were loose and need some general maintenance. Some of the seating on the terrace was worn and needed to be replaced. The air conditioning in our room was a Godsend and working perfectly. It was such a relief some evenings to open the door and be met with a blast of cold air.
7. Surrounding Areas
There is not a great deal around the hotel. There are a few shops and cafés just outside but that's about it. The medina in yasmine is a must if you want a bustling environment.
8. Shopping
The market visits the hotel every Tuesday with a handfull of stalls. The stall holders expect you to haggle with them. My advice is to visit the fixed price shops first before trying to buy anything from the market traders (The city shop is a good starting place). Tge market in Nabuel is much bigger but is a 20 taxi ride. Get a price that you want to pay in your head and stick to it. If they seem unwilling to budge then just walk away. In 5 paces they will be chasing you and calling you back. The taxis are really cheap but either ensure that the meter is running or agree the price at the start of your journey. The taxis are always parked up just outside the hotel.

This hotel was fantastic and Tunisia was an amazing country to visit. We would have no hesitation in returning here and would like to thank all of the staff for making our holiday so memorable.

Arrived at this hotel after about 2 1/2 hours transfer. Due to traffic and last hotel drop off.
First impressions saw a nice clean looking hotel, only to be met by rude reception staff. Our room wasn't ready and temperatures were in 40s. We were hot , needing to change , hungry and thirsty .someone to show us where every thing was with a smile would have been nice.
Eventually we were taken to our room which was nice and clean and had a nice view . This was cleaned daily. Towels were changed daily but sometimes weren't given out early enough to showers before evening meal . Several times our room key failed to work and again reception staffs attitudes and communication wasn't good enough.
The food- I am a fussy eater but most days there was enough I could eat and it was really nice but I couldn't say the same for the childrens menu. This was poor . Breakfast I struggled. As they don't cook the eggs enough but they had pancakes and doughnuts on offer.
Some nationalities didn't know the word queue and would walk across you like you weren't there. Same waiters were really nice whilst others were grumpy and unhelpful . A little smile goes a long way .
The water bottles in the morning
We're not sealed but you can get cold new ones from the bar .
We managed to get sunbeds ok and the amination team around the pool were really good .
The Thomas Cook kids club was fantastic and my children spent all there time with the girls who provided lots of fun activities. A good tip-Take old clothes for the chocolate party , a fantastic night tho for the
children.
Uk end Thomas Cook was really good but Tunisia end we felt it was really bad . Pick ups an drop offs were very badly organised and we felt like we were just left to our own
devices.
On an organised trip out the coach drive took chances with our lives with his bad driving and over taking .
This is a really nice clean hotel with a nice pool and straight on to the beach and is great for kids.
Would I recommend hotel - yes
Recommendations and improvement - more food choice for kids and staff training on reception area.

Myself My wife Daughter and a friend have just spent 7, days at this hotel 13th-20th August after a mix up with our rooms because we requested interconnecting rooms and 3, rooms later even though we didnt get the connecting rooms we got a room that was adequate, we had a great time, after reading some reviews before we went saying that the food wasn,t very good we thought the food was great and plenty of variety. my daughter is usually a very fussy eater but she had no problem finding something to eat and actually ate more here than at home.We all went to the spa which was quite expensive but enjoyable especially the massage. We found the fixed price shops outside the hotel very good with no hassle and a fair price.Would definately come to this hotel again.
