Had a great holiday. Hotel in a perfect location with direct access to beach, one of only in Hammamet Yasmine with this facility. Most people seemed to be on an all inclusive package, except fro some Algerian guests who were on a full board basis. We went outwith school holiday time which meant hotel was not so busy. Did hit Algerian school holidays so some kids going about, but apart from their waste of food in dining room they were not seem much.The facilities were excellent. We had a huge bedroom with en suite bathroom and a separate toilet and a balcony. The meals at the buffet were generally very good with plenty choice so always something to suit most tastes. The all inclusive package included 2 meals at waiter service restaurants, one in the Averroes and one in its' sister hotel nearby.Wine with meals very good, local Tunisian wine which is really good. The drink selection available in the all inclusive package was decent and any drinks not in all inclusive not very expensive. Staff appreciated any tips, but you did not feel pressurised to give either.
Hotel location is ideal, within walking distance of Hammamet Yasmine and a number of bars and restaurants if you wanted a change from hotel. We didn't try any but heard good reports about some.
Did get hassled when at markets in are but not as bad as we had expected.

Would recommend Iberostar Averroes for a good low cost holiday

Room Tip: Do not bother paying extra for a sea view as apart fro the last 4 rooms none of them get any sunshin...

I visited this hotel for a week at the end of march 2014.i d highly recommend to book seaview and all inclusive.having stayed many times in tunisia , this particular hotel offers real good value.
rooms are very large and modern.staff is very helpful and enthusiastic.a good tip for everyone does go a long way.especially to your waiter at the restaurant your room maid barstaff , poolman etc .. be generous and you ll be looked after well.
food was good , traditional and european standard .
trips out are good , too .
trip to marina , no more than 3 dirham , hamamet medina is a must , cost no more than 10 dirham.get the price b4 entering taxi and do NOT go by meter.it s cheaper without .
nabeul is a bit of a waste , old pottery town .. the marina is great but watch out for people hassling you , just give them a firm no and you be ok .
if you buy items in ny shop it s ALLnegotiable ...
good beach , grat pool great entertainment .. ENJOY

We came to Tunisia for my birthday and We could not have picked a better hotel!! The animation team made our stay so enjoyable we felt like celebrity's after I won 'Miss Averrous' at the start of the week, for the rest is the week everyone would say 'Hi Chelsea' whenever they saw me! We Loved every minute .. The Weather could have been better but hey that's just Mother Nature!! One thing that we were not happy about was our room, we had a few problems with our bathroom/toilet most things were broken and we complained on more than one occasion but we didn't let it dampen our holiday! Overall the hotel is the best place I have ever been on holiday, food was great! I even got chips one day that they didn't have any out. So many drinks available... We got a little merry every night! Our waiter Wajdi made sure our drinks were always flowing in the restaurant!

Despite all the good reviews, wasn't quite sure what to except. However almost everything was perfect. The main let down being the weather which of course was not the fault of the hotel.
The location was great. A short walk to a small medina and Joy's shop which had everything priced and very cheap. Also along a promenade to the marina. If you walked on the beach side there was no hassle and then return the shop side.
The décor in the hotel was lovely. The bedroom had the wow factor. Plenty of cupboard and drawer space. Seats on the balcony were comfy. Not the usual plastic kind. Good reception on the TV if you want to watch it.
Found the dining room to be the best feature. All the staff there were very pleasant. There was no queuing and pushing with plenty of space separating show cooking, hot dishes, salad counters and dessert counter. Read reviews about lack of English breakfast. Come on, eggs were made to order, a lovely lady making fresh muffins and crepes, hot Danish pastries, fresh fruit etc. etc. At lunch and dinner the desserts were truly scrumptious. Never tasted ice cream so full of flavour. Fresh strawberries galore. Have been to many countries and rate the food here among the best.
Felt the bar staff had their favourite customers who probably tipped more but just went up to the bar ourselves and got drinks.
The reception staff were just OK. Did their job but no smiles.
There were Tunisian families on holiday here but didn't find that a problem.
Only did 1 trip to old Hammamet town. Booked with man in the hotel and only cost 10 diners each (£8 for 2) We were away for 3 hours and had a personal guided tour. Highly recommend it. He has a desk beside the hotel shop which was also good and no hassle to buy.
Only let down was stated that birthdays or anniversaries would get wine or flowers in room on arrival . Did not happen despite being told it was our Golden Wedding.
Would certainly rate hotel as 4star plus.
Will return but in the warmer weather

Just got back sunday after a great week, the animation team were very friendly, no was a great host, black,mimo,soubertex, momo, Hana tt,and poula all made the holiday laughed all week. Being a fussy eater the food was always top quality, reception staff very help full, did have a bad experience with the man who does the henna and tattoos, said some things I didn't like, that upset me for nearly two days. What he said was not true, the bar staff were very friendly, we made friends with some great people. Thank you from the ladies in 4020.

Room Tip: All the rooms are at a good, clean, and very spacious.

Just returned from my week away at this hotel.
the weather was not so good as it was april but the animation team made up for it,worked so hard to entertain guests with outdoor activities but indoor to compensate for weather.All the team were fantastic but two were exceptional and stood out,Hanah and Mimo. They were execptional and professional at what they did. My room (3040) was kept spotless and clean. The food, staff and hotel were excellent. Thank you everyone for great service but especially the animation team who made my holiday one to remember!!

I have just returned from the best holiday I have ever had. My body hurts from all the laughing I have done. The animation team made it the best experience. My friend and I were just wanting to get away for a cheap break we didn't think for one minute it would be as good as it was. The hotel is lovely very clean and tidy. The buffet restaurant cater for all appetites, if it is not available they will make it for you. Sandwiches at 2am if you so wish. Staff very friendly and helpful, good range of alcoholic drinks. Pool is lovely, the weather was not great but that did not stop us having a good time. Mimo, black, soubitex, momo, Hana, TT, poula and joe from the animation team keep us entertained through out the day, they worked very hard to ensure we had a great time.

Room Tip: We had a room at the back of the hotel over looking the restaurant and archery area. Nice peaceful...
