This is a good hotel with a private beach.. the rooms were modern and comfortable. It's close to the old Hammamet town so you get to mingle with the locals and eat real Tunisian food! We had a car, so we were able to drive around and found some authentic olive oil mills and bought some virgin olive oil.. I can still taste it! Driving to the touristic part of Hammamet is not that bad.. It was like 10 minutes and the traffic was not bad at all. If I'm going to the area again then I would go there for sure!

An oasis of luxury in a sea of scruffyness. The site is large and secure giving you a rather insular outlook on the local neighourhood. The facilities are extensive with indoor spa pool, outdoor spa pool, infinity pool by the beach and then of course the actual real live sea. A bit cool in May but still surpasses the English Channel. This place has everything, good food, good rooms, beautiful surroundings and a brilliant beach area. The staff are friendly, they smile and greet you at every opportunity. The walk to town (Hammamet) can be along the beach or via the road. Don't be lazy and take a taxi, unless its dark. The beach walk is not recommended by the Hotel staff but the worst that can happen is a wet foot at the narrow point. Thirty minutes sees you in town where the Medina is a proper one with homes and shop sharing the picturesque alleys. No serious hassle and it's small enough to allow you to roam at will. The Fort is worth a visit as is the food market where you will see live quail, chicken and rabbits but not for long.

Room Tip: Fast for a week before you go here.

A good spread-out beachside hotel with huge rooms and a good range of eateries and facilities. Bar service a bit slow and haphazard but that goes with the territory in countries where alcohol is haram. Perfect for a few days break in the sunshine.

Excellent hotel with the most fantastic beach and infinity pool. The staff are so incredibly kind - they do not want you to have to do anything and are friendly, humorous and, speak English, French, German, Italian. The service is impeccable, they aim to please at all times without exception. There is a fantastic choice of meals in various restaurant - we took B&B to keep our options open and it worked out as the best solution. The room was wonderful and everything worked perfectly with the cleaning staff suiting your schedule. . I was so impressed at how the staff were so 100% perfectly dressed in every area of the hotel....detail is important to this hotel management and it shows.
Golf: My husband played golf and the shuttle from the hotel worked perfectly and our trip was arranged via Tunisian International Golf Services who did a great job- NOTE THIS WAS ARRANGED BY tigsinfo@gmail.com .
This is not a 'party all night' type of hotel so I would not recommend it to 'disco' lovers.. and that is why I rate it as excellent for those who are looking for excellent service, wonderful rooms, beautiful gardens and feeling cherished by the staff.
The spa did not inspire me...but maybe the weather was so good I did not need to go there!

After reading the reviews I was sceptic, but it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. I must stress though that if you haven't been to Tunisia before you need to understand that their 5 stars is maximum 4 in European standards so adjust your expectations accordingly. If you bear that in mind you will appreciate the very friendly, professional and well working service, which left me totally amazed having lived in Tunisia for 1,5 years and only found terrible service in most of the places. A clear exception is the reservations office of the hotel, but hopefully you won't need to deal with them. Always take a print of your reservation and voucher with you for check in and if you made the booking through a third party, best to check with the hotel beforehand that it does exist (and prepare yourself in advance for a potentially completely unprofessional officer).
Good:
- the buffet is quite good and safe in Tunisian terms and the theme/ selection changes every night. Excellent service and language skills! (Thank you Anis, Sami and the rest.)
- the beach is great, easily accessible, with a pool bar, beach bar and a restaurant right next to it and yet again, I have never seen such prompt and friendly service in Tunisia
- the hotel area is arranged quite beautifully around green gardens with enough bars and restaurants allowing not having to leave the hotel much, if that's what you want
- the 2,5 km walk to the center of Hammamet and the medina by the beach is nice and takes about 30 minutes, also you can see the medina beautifully from the hotel beach
- rooms on the ground floor are big with a separate lounge area and with a little terrace, the queen bed is very wide and generally there is nothing to complain about the cleanliness and amenities of the room
- not too many small kids, when it's not peak season for the local beach club members it's a peaceful place
Bad:
- on Saturdays the pub and the pool bar and the beach club entertain local people (not staying at the hotel) and play very loud music. We had to change rooms because of this but it seems that the noise cannot be fully avoided in any room. I think that in the summer there might be more nights than only Saturday, best to check if you go then
- 1st floor (top floor) rooms ban be much smaller than ground floor (but then again you won't hear the foot steps from anyone above you)
- I would think twice before coming here in the summer when the rich and obnoxious locals, who have a membership for the beach and pool, crowd the place, as I saw from many reviews that they were prioritized over hotel guests
- The tiled corridor leading to the rooms echo a lot so don't dream of sleeping late when people start walking to the breakfast place, unless of course you are at the end of the furthest corridor

Room Tip: Row 120 (closer to the beach club) or 140 seemed most peaceful

We stayed here for 2 nights at the end of a tour of Tunisia and thought it was excellent. Our room was huge with a garden balcony and serviced by a wonderful woman who spoke perfect English as well as French. Everything was spotlessly clean and well maintained. We ate in the restaurant on both nights and could not fault the food or the service. The pools looked inviting although a bit cold for swimming in April. The hardier souls among us did swim from the beach and proclaimed it good. The beach is small and of course public so expect some hassle and litter occasionally but overall we would have happily stayed for longer. The manager and his staff could not have been more helpful or friendlier.
