My family of 3 stayed here for 1 week, from the 12th of June to the 19th of June. My review will be split down into two parts (The Hotel/The Staff). Firstly the general appearance of the Hotel and grounds are it is cleaned to a high standard. On closer inspection you can see that the entire hotel is looking tired and worn, possibly because of a lack of investment into the hotel. A good example of this is the main pool area. The pool is perfectly adequate but take a closer look and you will see cracked and missing tiles. The Pool overflow covers look dirty and broken.
The Pool Bar, looks uncared for and dirty. The shutters that wont roll up fully just add to the tatty look of the place.
The Sun beds are all old and a lot are broken! (we just got used to swapping broken beds for slightly better ones).
The terrace floor area surrounding the pool is always dirty and was never cleaned in the week we were there.
The concrete tiles pathways around the grounds are again cracked and broken, adding to the tatty look. Ramp access for prams and wheelchairs is terrible at this hotel. There are numerous different steps or levels, so watch your steps.
The toilets (WC) at the hotel are cleaned but again look tatty and old. A lot of the cubicals I used the bulb had gone so you either left the door open slightly to see, or done your business in the dark, which wasnt good.
A real annoyance at this hotel was that there is only free WIFI at the hotel reception and even then the WIFI is over used with a really bad signal, so if you need decent WIFI, then please do not use this hotel. It become a running joke the daily routine of trying to connect to the rubbish WIFI! Appaerently there is addtional WIFI you can pay for, but we paid through TUI and they said free WIFI, i felt angry and short changed.
The beach and beach bar is stunning. The hotel area of the beach is roped off, so you do not get hassled from the numerous beach sellers that walk up and down selling cigerettes to camel and horse rides.
The main restaurant is again clean but looking tatty around the edges. At busy times the ques for hot food are a nightmare, school dinners and butlins was repeatly mentioned. The eating experience was not a relaxing enjoyable event, the best I can say was there was plenty of food to eat. I should mention the Russians far outnumber the brits and they were rude and and pushed in everywhere. The a la carte restaurant is at the beach snack bar in the evenings. We only used it once, it had a fixed 5 course menu. All 3 of us agreed the food was worse than the main restaurant food! It was disgusting. Bizarrely they had a keyboard player playing terrible music as we tried to eat. During his break, they had more music, such as classics like old McDonald had a farm. It was truly funny for all the wrong reasons!
We stayed in room 748 in a seperate block to the main hotel. This block has 3 floors and had no lift! So we had to climb the 4 level of stairs to get to our room. The stairways are very dark with no lighting during the day. There is lighting at night but again it is very poor. The stair hand rails are all loose, so i would advise against that you never hang on to them as they are likely to break! Our room 748 was clean but very basic. The bed base was made of concrete! so definately not comfortable! The room furniture and wardrobles are all tatty and basic. Our bathroom had broken tiles, towel rails hanging off and old wall plugs sticking out everywhere. Basically it looked horrible. On the balcony from the left you could see a area where the hotel water comes in and sewage goes out. Unfortunately at points in the day you could smell the sewage (disgusting). If you looked right from the balcony, you have the most wonderful view of the beach.
The waterpark is looking far more faded and older than all the pictures from the TUI photos! but it is great fun. The water park is definately a bonus if you have children to entertain.
On a positive note, the Tunisian staff wok really hard for you. A special mention needs to go to Mohammid Ali for his hard work and service in the main restaurant. The Animation team are all good fun and work incredibly hard to get people involved. Unfortunately the night entertainment is rubbish, with only 1 night out of our 7 that was any good (Michael Jackson Dance/Music night).

Overall the hotel is looking tatty and tired and dangerous in places. On the flip side the Tunisan staff are wondeful. If only the hotel owners invested into the hotel and senior managers paid attention to the details. The big question is would we 3 all use this hotel again?? All 3 said no!

Just returned home 19th june.
First floor room which i asked for Brilliant.
House keeping Brilliant.
Not brilliant as follows-
Check in one room drinks
Then queue wrist bands
Then another queue room number, then another queue front desk for room key, why dont you just put it in one place everyone back and fore ridiculous!
Music absolutely no need to be playing as loud for people trying to chill sun bathing, you just couldnt find a quiet place to get away from constant constant loud music. Dinner time was the only time it got shut off thank god most people said. Ridiculous the man doing the music needs to be told again and again its not all about you wanting to be a wannabe disc jockey!!!.
Food. Like school canteen, push shove no order shameful behaviour from people, you swear food was going to be rationed. Russians waste food pile high plates then just leave it, the words are no respect for anyone, food was ok, always something to eat, I really feel sorry for the waiters what a job, chaos, trying to clean plates with people jumping right in front of them, they deserve a medal. Chaos is the best word for it.
Shops, foyer shops nice bits and bobs, but jewellry shop dont even look, pain in the neck you look at anything, and every sodding time you pass he out mithering you every time, just got on my nerves. Didnt buy from him in the end, went bag SHOP next door lovely dont chase you hound you lovely bought loads.
Last the disco onsite is head work, 2am in morning could hear it everywhere, it ruined our holiday.
These little things could so easily be put right.
Management need to control your staff, not them control your hotel.
Shame really.

Just returned from 2 weeks at this hotel with my daughter from 5th till 19th June
Room 326.
Good bits first
Food very good but you need to give the restauraunt a wide birth at opening times as the Russians tend to dominate and the wait for food is crazy wait until half an hour after opening for a more relaxing meal.
Waterpark brilliant my daughter loved every minute of it even dad lol.
Entertainment we enjoyed this is always very opinionated with people but they had a michael jackson show a brazilian show karaoke an excellent funny show taking the mickey out of the people on holiday.
Sunbeds a plenty so no worries on that score.
Beach amazing and totally safe i walked the full length of it which was really nice.
Kids club is brilliant for the kids and are well looked after.
Nice friendly people who make you feel at home.
Now the bad points.
Upon arrival you are given a nice welcome as you come off the coach then given a free drink whilst getting your wristbands then you are given your room key and you are on your own took us an hour to find our room as there is no bell boys so good luck with that one.
You have to pay for the use of a safe which i have never done before which was dissapointing.
You have to pay for your towels daily again never done this before so best to bring your own.
Just think your safe and towels are a hotel rip off...
The music played was not good it was not varied as there was all ages at the hotel people do not want dance music bang bang bang all the time.
In fairness these are easy points to rectify for the hotel and i would return if these points are sorted.

My sister and I stayed at this hotel for a week ending 19 June 2018..The welcome was not very organised and nothing was explained to us. The room and hotel was very clean and the housekeeping staff were very friendly, very helpful and very hardworking
..Meal times were always chaotic and like rush hour in a busy London tube station with long queues for hot food..there was always plenty of choice though and the fresh fruit was delicious..The entertainment was terrible..There is nowhere to get away from the loud booming music played in the hotel pool areas all day...the main stage is also in the pool area which means loud music banging into the hotel rooms until 10pm or 11pm and after that the loud music continues banging on until 3am from the nightclub attached to the hotel which for me ruined my holiday and although I would visit Tunisia again I would never stay at this hotel again.
