“Perfect holidays”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 July 2014 via mobile

We've been there the first week of july and it was perfect! Excellent food(with a buffet chanching every day), very nice service, and great swimming pools! The room was beautiful and the gym well equiped. The hotel is brand new (barely one year old) and gorgeous.
We regret however the lack of excursion offers and towels and water at the gym.
But overall, an amazing week!

We stayed here from sat 12th July until sat 19th July in room 222 which was a corner room with pool and sea views. The room was clean, spacious and very comfortable. There were a few nice touches like towelling robe and slippers plus reasonable quality toiletries included. The view from the balcony was beautiful.
The pool area was perfect with large shades, comfortable loungers and waiters from the pool bar always at hand. The food was good quality with a good choice. I personally didn't feel that for the week that we were there that there were any problems with variety. However, my girlfriend, who is a vegetarian, felt that there could have been more more main course veggie options.
The staff were all very friendly and polite and all spoke a good standard of English.
The management of the hotel were very 'on the ball'. I had one small complaint. That being that on a number of evenings there were no towels in the gym. I sent an email to management raising this (as requested in the hotel information) before going down to dinner. Within the hour we were approached by the manager who managed to locate us in the restaurant. He apologised regarding the gym and said that it was being dealt with immediately by the manager of the Spa. The following day, he again located us and said that the issue wouldn't reoccur.
It is significant that this was the only fault I could find during our stay and even more significant that it was rectified so promptly. Excellent service at an excellent hotel.

Room Tip: Sea view rooms are best. The corner ones are very spacious.

Stayed 7 nights. From the moment we arrived we were very impressed by the décor and how smart everything is (except the lift doors, but don't let that bother you).

The hotel's facilities are all very good - rooms, spa, (not extensively equipped) gym, public rooms, bar, indoor pool - but it's the outdoor pool and beach areas that make the place superb for anyone seeking a relaxing break to chill out. There are masses of staff to get you drinks and meals while you're poolside, and service in the restaurants is also excellent - particularly in our case Ramzi at breakfast and dinner. All the staff were really keen to make you feel you're having a great time, and very professionally trained I'd say.

The only slight disappointment was the food itself. We had high expectations based on the reviews we'd read, and the buffet each evening couldn't be faulted for the variety available. However, the quality of the evening buffet food didn't always match up to how it looked. Not enough to say you wouldn't eat there, but I just want to bring a balance to the expectations of those going on a half board basis. Having said that, nobody we spoke to who ate out in town reported a satisfactory experience, so we didn't bother trying alternatives. We certainly felt overall we got great value for money for what we paid, and it delivered exactly the sort of restful break we hoped for in a really well run, genuine 4* hotel.

Would easily be a 5/5 rating but for the food, but still great overall.

PS - the worst meal of the week by far was the in the hotel's a la carte Jasmin restaurant. The bistro lunches were good, especially the fish of the day, but make sure if the dish comes with chips to ask for them to be crispy! Otherwise they'll be pretty much half cooked and soggy, which seemed to be the norm. They'll happily do them crispy if asked.

Room Tip: The sea view rooms also overlook the pool, and although garden views get later evening sun, they are...

Stayed 4 nights during Ramadan period and hotel still quiet busy .. the lobby is lovely decorated and the whole of the hotel is decorated tastefully .. my room with balcony & sea view is definitely make my stay .
I have ordered room service most evenings and the staff is wonderful. He went out his way to come to take my order as at times language is a slight issue .. But he always bring the food how I like and more .. Thank you .. just a tip .. .. The Portion is quite large.. So no need to over order food .. Is definitely value for money at a 5 star resort !!
all the staff are very friendly and attentive .. There is a slight issue with English speaking guests .. But I am sure they will get there eventually since the hotel still in an infancy stage ..
I stayed in different Radisson in other countries and the brand always maintain their high standard of service ..
keep up the good work .. and also thank you to the Duty Manager .. mr Hedi for making sure my stay was comfortable and addressing an issue I encountered during the stay ..
will definitely return to Radisson Blu if I was in Hammamet .

Just returned from one week's family holiday at Radisson Blu, Hammamet - what a beautiful hotel. The location is great and the satff are very friendly and helpful. The food at this hotel is excellent. We had a sea view room which was well worth the extra cost. The only thing lacking was evening entertainment but I understand this is being looked into by the hotel management at present. 10/10 Radisson, thank you for a wonderful holiday. We will definately be back.

Room Tip: Sea view room on floor 3 or 4

two 18 year old's just completed A level exams and us as parents all needing to chill and recharge the batteries.
We could not have chosen better for a one week break. Apparently, until last July's completed refit this was The Grand Hotel dating back to the 60's. An excellent makeover with a few minor teething problems which management appreciated being brought to their attention.
Always a smile from junior to the most senior executives.
Food was excellent with a good choice (not withstanding in part the pre-season time and progressive ramp-up) at breakfast and dinner with bar side snacks and brunch type food along with fully supported poolside and beach service. Great outdoor pool and sea water and fresh water internal pools too.
Wi-fi was at saturation from the beach to the poolside and throughout the hotel.
Hotel owned spa treatment facility with good ambiance also supporting a sizeable quality a/c equipped gym. Pako does a good job with day time activities for all ages including yoga but its never in your face. Also external tennis courts and a football square.
We liked our rooms, (sea view is a must if your can secure) with wet room replacing the traditional baths. Some do still have baths. Good size room and Radisson specified beds and nice maid service.
The private beach is only paces from the hotel pool and is cared for with no evidence of pedlars. A wind seems to be common along this shore but we found this a benefit round the pool.
Worthy of consideration are the external gardens which are at the front of the hotel. Location is about 3km from the centre of old Hammamet.
Expect future years to be much more busy and as a result the nightclub and many and varied internal and external chilling areas for a drink or two at night will add to the atmosphere.
Discussing our findings with the General Mgr was no hardship and assuming the points raised are actioned this can only further improve what is already a resounding success for us reflected in the positive attitude of the staff.
Never before have I been so positive about my ratings. I trust others will find it to be so too. Enjoy.

Room Tip: sea view if possible. Don't hesitate to mention to management anything that seems out of place o...
