“Dirty”

Mouse droppings on the floor in the loo and cockroaches in the toilets.
We also witnessed them mopping the mens loos and the kitchen floor with the same mop straight afterwards!!

“Great for those who love poor service”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 June 2014

We were drawn to this pub on the seafront by its name, and the cute dog sitting inside. The first visit was fine, the vodka was local, and not very nice, the same as in our all inclusive hotel, only in the Rovers it was 22 dinar. Did I mention the cute dog?

Our hotel wasn't showing the World Cup Football, several other bars with large screens were only serving coffee, so despite the poor quality vodka we were tempted back by the huge screens and closeness to our accommodation.

Whilst not overly busy we sat for 5 minutes waiting to be served, by a waiter who must hate football or have been told he had to work an extra shift as the cute dog wasn't available to draw in the punters. 10 minutes later he returned to our table and told us to go to the bar ourselves. No explanation and when we asked why he didn't tell us 10 minutes ago (or indeed take our order in the first place) all we got was a grunt. The cute dog offered better service, and he didn't even speak English.

“Day light robbery”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 June 2014 via mobile

We went to the Rovers Return with friends who we met at our hotel. They had two good experiences, so we joined them.

The service was mediocre an Italian waiter giving words in his native tongue but these could have been insults for all we know!?

We met the owner who advised us that the sea bream was 400g and would be de-boned. (Be warned you pay per gram!) 40,000d later was when we realised this fact!!

When the food arrived the fish was still in tact, the owner berated the waiter in front of us to our embarrassment.

The bill arrived which we put our money in the chest before it closed the waiter snatched it from us, as we walked out the waiter chased us to say that we under paid them by 20d!!! We had counted it and checked prior to it being taken. This was a scam!! We had no choice but to put another 20d the mans hand. We will not be returning! So be warned when paying a food bill for unwanted grief and unjust accusations!!

“totally disaster!”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 June 2014

Last evening of our holiday we decided to go out from the hotel to have a dinner in a testaurant in Hammamet.Me and my husband.Totally disaster. The food was catastrophic and we woke up in the night because we were sick we needed a doctor immediately. My question is after this experience how is it possible a restaurant like this is on the 3.place on Tripadvisor's list?????Critics are cheating the tourists.Be careful!!Read critics first and take a look before you eat!!!!I don't wish to anyone this sickness!
