I went away with parents, not been away for 3 years and it was the best holiday I've had, been to Spain, Cyprus and Egypt, the weather was as good as Cyprus but better, the hotel was good and the all the workers where really nice to us, the entertainers where really good fun and made the holiday special!

1- Room that we stayed, old furniture
2- Beach not clean, swimming in possible, had to walk to another beach of hotel chain.
3. Pool nice
4. Food normal
5. Room loud because of animation
6. Internet not working at rooms.

We went to Solaria with teenagers who were mostly interested in sunbathing by the pool. They were not disappointed as the pool was small but good and the pool staff very helpful in finding loungers and umbrellas. In fact the staff at the hotel were some of the most helpful I have ever found at any hotel I have stayed at.
The hotel also provides free access to a small theme park and water park and opportunity to eat at linked hotels. The water park was very clean and safe and not crowded considering it was the middle of the school holidays.
One complaint would be that the hotel menu though good was a little limited but with the opportunity to eat at other hotels [if you book early] this should not really be a problem. We ate out at a local Lebanese restaurant which was very good and not expensive.
The hotel also offers tickets for a banquet / show evening which we attended although we found the food to be poor.
We had a interesting day trip to Carthage arranged through the rep and found this well organised with a very helpful guide.
In general getting around was easy with plentiful and cheap taxis.
Beach within 20m of hotel with inclusive bar and water sports.
My last comment and only real criticism of the hotel is the gym. Perhaps the most poorly equipped I have ever seen. Broken running machine, 2 bikes which just about moved lat machine that jammed and many weight discs which didn't even fit the only barbell !
Overall though an excellent hotel.
A successful first trip to Tunisia and would go again.

We have just returned from a 2 week stay at this hotel and had a great time. Receptionists are very helpful and friendly and the staff in the hotel just can't do enough for you. The rooms are very spacious and cleaned every day - the restaurant is great with plenty choice of food and Malek our waiter was superb! The pool is clean but sunbeds can be a problem in high season although Mohammed and Ahmed went out of their way to make sure we were catered for. The Animation team always had something going on and although we were asked if we wanted to join in, they never pushed us if we didn't want to. Our room faced the courtyard where the evening entertainment is held and to be honest if we did want an early night, the noise wasn't too bad with the patio doors closed. The beach which is across the road was clean and the snacks at the beach bar were ample for a lunchtime sandwich, pizza or chips. I wouldn't hesitate going back to this hotel again, well done Solaria, keep it up!!

Room Tip: Opt for a room on the higher floor.

We stayed in this hotel for 6 days in August 2014... There were four of us, incl 2 boys ages 5 and 8, we got a large room with two huge beds, nice bathroom, no balcony but lovely sea view.

Swimming pool of good size and never full, slide was a hit with the little one.

Good choice of tasty food but we were expecting more from 5 star hotel.

Lovely animation team!!! Even though we didn't participate we could tell they took care of people. I'm only worried they were overloaded with work as we could see them there all day every day.

Great location, close to everything!!!! Marina, Aqualand, carthageland, marina, medina...

Nice experience for the whole family.

I didnt know what to expect as I hadnt been to Tunisia for many years. As a family with four teenagers we were not disapointed.
The hotel was clean and the staf were very friendly and couldnt be more helpful. The pool was a little small but there were lots of sunbeds and the pool men were fab! Even though we stayed there last week in the school summer holidays we never had a problem with sunbeds. The pool men found us beds and mattresses and often umbrellas even when it was busy or later in the day.
The rooms were clean, comfortable and a good size. The beds were hard but not uncomfortable. Our room overlooked the sea but it is worth mentioning that there is a road between the beach and the hotel and it can be a bit noisy. The rooms have fridges but arent stocked as some are in other all inclusive hotels. There are toiletries but are basic so I would suggest that you take your own and not rely on the hotel.
The hotel offers good currency exchange with rates the same as the banks etc. The hotel has a gift shop that sells the normal copy goods that you will get outside and they are open to negotiation. However there is a very good shop next door called Costa Mall which offers copy goods, food, drink and gifts. The store is modern, very clean and good value for money but not open to negotiation on price.
The amination team were very good natured and more than happy to do whatever they could to give you all a good time. The entertainment in the day was really good but the evening left a bit to be desired.
Food was plentiful but a bit repetitive as it normally is in buffet styled restaurants and it was very difficult to get booked into the a la carte restaurants and the Italian one was closed when we were there.
If your expecting USA style 5 star all inclusive you wont get it but spain/greek/cararies A.I you wont be disapointed in this hotel.

Room Tip: Seaviews are across a road that can sometimes be noisy.
