The hotel is average. But what I would really talk about is food. Very disgusting, tasteless. I advise you to eat outside.

Meal - terrible. It was not possible even to make a tea, as water was cold. Service in the restaurant is awful! Nobody doesn"t care about you. It was difficult to get flatware to eat.

No cleaning service in the room" bed clothe was in holes, towels were blotchy, garbage from the previous guests in the bathroom.

Climatization doesnt work. TV remote control didnt work. A metallic studding was in the electrical socket.

On the second day we were going to fly back home, as it was not a vacation in the dirty hotel without any service and without meal. Thanks a lot to our travel operator, that changed us a hotel for the normal one.

It is good to write first : we are not friends of large hotels in summer vacation villages and we do not need absolutely to share our time with thousands people . This first remark could explain our disappointment after arrival in Almaz .Yes , quality hotel with plus minus good service and relative good local kitchen ,but... Yasmine maybe was built as separeted summer touristic village with prices mostly very similar to prices in EU and higher , no chance to get immediately in other location without taxis , mostly cheap but sometimes it is possible to get in the 'false' taxi with very suspicious diver and price .
On the other hand Hammamet is very magic place and in the future time we will try to get a room in hotel just in the city , medina , cafes and shore near hammamet is beatiful . Good aquapark for children is easy available too .
Almez can offer very good rooms , clean and relative calm , good pool outside and spa inside . Lunchroom is large , clean but mostly everytime crowded and noisy .Cuisine is possible to rate as above average (but very subjective ,of course)

It's ok hotel. There are wonderfull plantes, nice pool, hamam, spa center... Rooms are with balcons, interesting decoration, and it were cleaned every day. Of course, You have to give to maid a few dinars , but it is normal in arabian world. Food is good...it is not nessesery to taste everything. There are many salads, fresh fruit, their nationale mails with meat and vegetables, and good, good cookies. The hotel is not small, but I felt there good, like at known place. Nobody disturb you (except a gay who sells excursions, he is partybraker), animation team is friendly. People which are work at the hotel do not understand what responsibility means, but there is exceptions, like everywere, so You have to find Your own way to get what you want: use charm, dinars...discretly, of course, discresion is very important there. The beach is about 200 metrs from the hotel, and the beach is wonderfull. There You can try ussualy watter sports. I spent a nice time there, and I wish to go there again. It was a favourite place for Oskar Wilde, so, what else we can tell ?

P.S. People in front of their own shops are not normal, they are agresiv, you can not just take a walk, no way, they do everything to take you in their shops, but with "no talk no hear" model You can save Your nerves.

  • Liked — Clean rooms and bathrooms, traditional room decoration, wonderfull plants.
  • Disliked — Street wiew from some rooms, loudy music from the pool, no english tv chanals, no internet.
