“Great place for children”
Reviewed 6 September 2013

Our familiy spent 2 weeks here in july and had a great time! There was a baby cot in the room when we arrived, plus free drinks in the fridge - great when we arrived late in the evening.
The staff was very friendly towards the children - there was no looks or anything when one of the kids was a bit unhappy in the restaurants or anything. The waiters was so friendly. Good food - but somewhat the same every day, a bit boring in the end.
The all inclusive program was superb! Drinks and food available 24/7.

The pool-area was good, there were plenty of sun beds available, the kid's pool was also great, good depth and always a place with shadow (important with a baby).
The beach was also great, beautiful water and sands. Plenty of sun beds.

We would highly recommend this hotel to others - also with small children.

Summary:
Nice and clean hotel, with lots of activities, for both children and adults (Within the area of the hotel). The food is alright, but not as tasteful as i've been hoping for, but they do have alot to choose from. The gardenview-rooms are quiet in the evening, so you will be able to sleep. The sea-view rooms can be bothered from the entertainment and music until 23:30.
The staff will help you if need any, but only in arabic, french, german and a little english. They have a micro-supermarket, if you forgot something at home, shampoo, batteries, snack and beverages. The hotel deserves it 3,5 stars, nothing more, nothing less.
In overall, we had a really nice stay.

Food:
We had "All Inclusive" - which meant food and drinks all day and night 24/7. All meals, breakfast, lunch and dinner are served buffet-style in the main restaurant. The have chefs to cook you freshfried eggs, omelets, pasta, and various meatdishes, not for you to choose. It's all of a decent quality, but some of it needs more taste to it. The "L'Express" by the pool is open 24/7 and serves beverages, coffee, and various foods during the day/night. The more "Exclusive" restaurant "Blue & Blue", which is part of All-inclusive, but needs reservation. Is of a little better quality, it is a bit more tasty.

Facilities/entertainment:
The hotel has a large area. From the entrance to the beach, you will find tennis-courts, beach volley, archery, playground for kids, tabletennis, soccerfield, basketball, pool with lots of sunbeds, areas for entertainment in the night, and of course the beach(bar) with beverages and some foods. The hotel, the room and the areas surrounding are always clean. The Lobby has free WI-FI, but don't depend on availability, when alot of guests are using it, it can be hard to get a proper connection, and you can only reach it from the lobby. The rooms are very simple, no fancy stuff - but the have a refrigerator and a safetybox, and a old TV.

Staff:
Some of the employees, could need some training in nice customer service and smiling, mostly the guys at the bars and the reception. Sometimes it felt like you we're bouthering them. One of the guys in the "L'express" seemed arrogant, and despite the fact that the menu (of 4 pizza's) was written in german, french and english, he wouldnt/couldnt understand neither german or english. The young staff, which I mostly met by the pool, are always smiling and makes jokes with you, and they are talking with the guests and playing with the kids. The cleaning-staff always greets you, and smiles back at you.

I stayed with my son in late June for 10 days. Although we've been a little bit unlucky (cold wind) with the weather which i guess was just a casualty due to this year's "special" climate, the stay in this Hotel was ultimate pleasure. From the architecture and the welcoming care reserved to new arrivals, to the gentle service of the reception given til the last hrs of your staying before departure. Now the All Inclusive service is not just a word most of the Hotels can somehow "personalize" and shape into their idea of it.. In One Resort/ Sprinclub Djerba they mean it: beach, sunbeds, beach diner, bar, lobby, restaurant, disco, everything is there for you to enjoy.
The Rooms are large, light, inviting, the furniture (especially bathtubs) could use a "new wave" but in matter of cleaness, everything is spotless including matresses, so no one can complain.
Food:loads of variety, everybody could choose, salads ,stews, grilled, fish, tunisian specialties and for those who are really picky on food there's a fantastic italian cook serving 4 types of pasta served expresso. Fruit, desserts and ice cream are a constant.
Now what makes the staying in this Hotel really special is the location on a white sandy beach, the bloomy path to it and a fantastic animation team. All the guys are profs trying to get you into their activities without invading your needs for tranquillity. The italian team in particular is very dedicated to its customers, taking care of you and your "salsa abilities" and most importantly taking care of your kids, making you feel among friends. They do their job with a lot of passion.
Thanks a lot to Tiziano, Mattia, Veronica, Cristiana, Jacopo, it's been a great time, I just wished i could have stayed longer!!

Our family stayed at this excellent hotel for a week in June 2013. We are used to travel a lot but never met service and professionel staf like this before. The food were excellent, well tasting, good looking and varieted, and when you book all inklusive its really ALL INCLUSIVE, you could eat and drink all day.
The hotel has many good and proff. guides taken care off all kind of intertainments and sport activities.
We can highly recoment this hotel.

This hotel is not crowded with italians anymore(change of management and closed for 9 months in 2011)but it still remains a tunesian one:in the restaurant and bar are quit a lot of important chiefs, responsables, captains etc (as it is in the good Maghreb way of life)and are doing really nothing, just being important. They are totally blind for the food that is constantly burning on the teppan, blind for the dirty wine carafs, blind for the total absence of ice cubes in the resto(knowing that mostly the wine is not at all cooled),blind for the buckets of oil they use in many dishes(and I am a little bit experienced ,I was travelling for more than ten years in the maghreb)and even deaf for C.Dion who was crying so hard during breakfast that a conversation was difficult...
This hotel needs ASAP a
(european?)food and beverage manager. This hotel has a very nice pool and gardens and even the beachbar is OK,a good management could bring this hotel on a 4 star level(the neighbour 3star mehari hotel (were there last year)is a better choice, the iberotel chain garantuees quality!)
remarkable:
when you chose for an all in formule, gin tonic is not for free, you must take sprite.......
ice cubes are very rare and hard to find
hot water for tea (breakfast)is mostly not available:"sorry sir,I forgot to put the power on".....
ecology does'nt exist here:every day new (grey)towels and blankets,unasked....
last morning we asked for a wake up call(early flight)with any call at all as result, the VIP on the reception was not responsable,it was his collegue's responsability
Dinner is only possible from 7.30,so a mass of hungry tourists are really waiting in the hall until the VIP opens the door and everybody is storming in
