“Run Run and Be Very Afraid”

When I say that there is so much wrong with this hotel it is an understatement!

Food is repetitive every day, and hygiene is a shambles, plates, cups, floors, tables, table clothes, chairs, light switches, glasses....etc etc etc all dirt, get the picture.

Staff....well a couple are ok the rest are really not wanting to be in the hospitality industry and beg the question is it all about the money, coz when you tip they just about start to help, no tip no nothing.

Now the rooms are a 1* if you are lucky in the main complex, I heard the new complex is slightly better, air-conditioning is debatable,.

It a health hazard, a holiday nightmare and a terrible place to stay..... save yourself the pain....honestly.
The owner only cares about his back pocket and as soon as he has your money you are told that he cannot not do anything....terrible terrible terrible! No care at all.

Oh by the way if you think you will get a good night's sleep, think again, to top it all there is an all night open air disco...until 4 to 6 am pratically every day.

This hotel claims to be a 3* but trust me 1* is too good . Having traveled to Tunisia 10 times in total i can honestly say this hotel is a total disgrace. Dirty, broken and unkempt. Our room was on the 3rd floor where the Fire door fell off its hinges and broke the safety glass. It was left to me to move it as no one gave a ****. There was a spectacular storm Wed/Thur early hours great to watch the sky light up but not so good to see the rain coming into our room from under the patio door !! Hotels solution was to give us extra towels to mop up the wet floors.Rooms are very very basic.Food was OK typical Tunisian attempt of international cuisine.Bland and in many cases tasteless with very little change in the daily menus.Have had much better at other Hotels.
This Hotel is in need of a total refurb and until this happens i would question the safety of its guests. Please PLEASE do your own checks before parting with any money. There are far better places to stay in what is a wonderful country to visit.Great beaches, great weather and on the whole great people. They do like to be tipped so be prepared!

We have just come back from a brilliant week here. Landed just yesterday. The room was air conditioned and clean. The weather was great. The food was passable. We ate 3 times a day and never starved. Certainly never got ill. Bit annoying that no spirits were included in the all inclusive but happily drank lots of wine. Also the free large bottles of water were brilliant and never ending. Could do with more loungers. The bar staff were wonderfully ignorant and there grumpiness only made me laugh at them. The entertainement staff were ace esp Nino and Mimi. If people want more luxury they should up there budget. I would go again for what we paid.

Food was a bit hit and miss always plenty there and variety we never went hungry!!! No trouble with flies as seen in past reviews not even bitten by a single mozzie!!!! Overall had a very enjoyable time not as bad as past reviews have made out!! You get what you pay for and we were most happy.

If you have booked this hotel from a brochure promising all-inclusive with snacks and local spirits you will be disappointed. However if you have booked at the last minute and are a bit open-minded about what is and isn't all-inclusive you might find that you have a quiet, sunny break at this small hotel.
It is not true about the limited choice in the dining room. At breakfast there is a selection of cereals and milk, cheeses, cold meats and salad plus a chef who will cook eggs fresh for you. At lunchtime there is a salad buffet, choice of 4 or 5 hot dishes and always pasta cooked fresh by the chef. There was always a selection of fresh fruit and cakes for desert and sometimes ice cream. There was a similar choice in the evening. The people who complained were people who did not appear to like different food: they piled their plates high with chips and pasta and quite often left the food half eaten. They took whole bottles of water/Coca Cola/ Sprite to their tables and just left them when they had had enough. The state of the dining room was appalling after some of the guests has left. People came in straight from the pool dripping wet and left pools of water everywhere.
And then the flies! The dining room was air-conditioned but many of the guests insisted in opening the patio doors/ windows which allowed the flies to come in. The dining room staff tried to keep the food covered either with cling film or napkins but guests just left the food uncovered. In a similar vein, parents allowed their children to go to the buffet on their own to chose food. I saw a child helping herself to cakes with her fingers, licking them and then returning the cakes! Adults were no better: they didn't use the cloth napkins to hold bread whilst they sliced it.
We went to the dining room later than most people and the staff were always very helpful and made sure that we had a table that was freshly set. We enjoyed most of the food. There was always something we could eat.
As far as the rooms are concerned, they are a little past it but they are clean and everything was in working order including the air-conditioning.
If you have a room overlooking the entertainment area and pool, it will be very noisy because of the foam parties. If you have a side room, it will be quiet apart from the occasional braying of donkeys. Our room had a lovely view overlooking the sea and palm trees.
This is a small, unsophisticated 2* hotel on the beach with no other facilities nearby. If you want to relax in the sun and are not a fussy eater, then this is not a bad hotel for the late availability deals. If you want more, go somewhere else!

I booked a late deal at the Neptunia Beach Hotel for myself
and my mother. Unfortunately i did not read the reviews beforehand
because it was a late deal and needed to be booked ASAP. Big mistake.
Arrived at reception and was greeted by ignorant staff with bad attitudes.
The food was extremely poor with very limited choice "only
water Mellon for dessert at every sitting". Their were flies
constantly on the food and the restaurant was always dirty, the
tables were never cleaned. You had to lay your own table with stained
table cloths. Breakfast consisted of toast and boiled eggs. The
hotel only purchased a toaster the week before, after complaints from
an English couple. My mother spent a day in bed with sickness
and diarrhea.
It was an all inclusive package but the bar closed at 10 PM on the
dot. I watched as a local man ordered and drank a glass of
water from the bar, when he had finished, the barman didn't wash the
glass, he just turned it upside down and put it with the other
"clean" glasses ready for someone else to use.
Most of the deck chairs and deck beds on the beach were broken. Their
were also a lot of Jelly fish in the sea. Some people had stings off
them. To top it all off, i had £80 stolen from my purse, which was
in my locked room. The management weren't interested, they told
me they had called the police, but clearly they hadn't. The manager
kept fobbing me off. Another couple had £100 stolen after their
door was forced. I have travelled many times to Tunisia and
really love the country, but this is by far the worst experience i
have ever encountered.
Please please do not stay at this DUMP. You have been warned.
Feel free to email me with any queries or questions.
