“Good place to go in June for chilled holiday”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 June 2012

Just back for a half-term break. First time at All Inclusive hotel. Hotel surprisingly quiet, which was actually lovely, but enough options to keep yourself occupied. Would I go back? Yes.
Positives - clean & well kept. Friendly staff. Spacious communal areas inside and out; decent beds, pillows, sheets & towels.
Wide range of food options at each meal with helpful staff who went out of their way to cater for a fussy eater in our group!
NIce pool (but not huge) with beach just over the road also offering All Incl drinks.
Various free activities on site, & extra water sport options on the beach for additional payment (but free pedalos). Banana boat was fun ! Entertainment team work hard and are friendly without being lechy!
Negatives - Rooms are a bit tired (grouting could do with a touch up etc) but the staff keep them clean & tidy. Probably a 3 star level not 4.
Went on the Pirate Boat trip -not one I would recommend for families with young children- bit dull!
NB 1 hour transfer from Enfidha aiport (where they appear to fly most people into).
Not for you if you want to be geographically in the middle of the action - this hotel is between Sousse & Monastir in a zone of it's own.

Room Tip: Pool view rooms will get the noise of the entertainment at night. Sea View (as in sea over the road...

Went back for visit no. 4 (booked on the Tuesday, went on the Sunday) 3rd June to 10th. Was welcomed back by all the staff and greeted warmly by new ones.

Room spotlessly clean and comfortable, food very nice, lots of choice, public areas including the loos always clean, cleaners work all the time to keep the place nice.

Pool area is cared for by a good team of pool guys.

Animation team very friendly but certainly not pushy.

It was quiet when we visited this time but nevertheless, the entertainment still went ahead.

Reception staff explained everything to us in detail, even though we have been before, about booking the a la carte, barbeque and beach bar for our meals for one visit per place, about how the internet works and meal times in the main restaurant.

We found that if you smile and are friendly, staff are back to you. We did not feel any pressure at all to tip, in fact, we always tip at the end of we think we have had good service, and all the staff are very polite and courteous.

Thank you Patrick and your team for keeping us entertained with the shows, and to all the staff at the Ramada. Will see you again on 5th August!

What an amazing time we had. All the staff were helpful and friendly. There was something for everyone. The food was good and the choice excellent.
The Animation team were awesome. They were entertaining and even though we were older ladies made sure we were entertained!
I would like to go back in about 12 months to see what changes have been made with the head chef being new. He has a lot of ideas, and it would be good to see what he does.
It was excellent value for money.
We went to the beach in the morning then back into hotel for lunch then round the pool in the afternoon. Very relaxing just what we needed.

Room Tip: a room overlooking the pool would not be disturbed by the nightclub that can be heard by the rooms o...

Stayed at the Ramada, 27th May - 3rd June 2012. Fourth time there. Have not been disappointed. The check inn, very good. The room may be a bit dated, but kept very clean by the service ladies. The food is catered for French/German, but had no trouble finding something to eat, if you do have a problem then the Chef will make something for you. Wine/beer, are very passable, as also the spirits. The hotel is kept very clean, by the staff who are all willing to help, if you have a problem, and are very friendly, and do appreciate, when you say please and thank you. The animation team work very hard, and very long hours but keep smiling, even when some tourists can be a pain. The most enjoyable part is meeting other people from other countries, and having fun together. Will be going back

We went here in May 2012 for our honeymoon. We booked everything seperate including transfers to and from the airport as we didn't want to spend hours sitting on a coach. The hotel foyer etc was stunning but sadly the rooms were a bit dated and tired. The staff were absolutely brilliant throughout and just so friendly and helpful. Some outsiders trying to sell trips etc were a bit of a pain but after being told no enough times will eventually leave you alone. The beach was absolutely filthy and really awful so we didn't use it once we saw it. The food was really good if a bit repetitive but for what we paid all inclusive we couldn't really complain. The local lager on tap is weak but we made up for it with good measures of shorts. The staff made up our room everyday and always took the trouble to leave a flower for my wife or fold our towels into the shape of swans or hearts. In summary , a really good resort but beware of a few things.
They don't tell you in the brochures etc that they have a disco until 4am most nights thats attached to the hotel and really noisy if your room is at the front. Also you have to pay extra to use the bars other than the all inclusive. Other than that a good resort, wonderful staff but personally I would suggest only only a week as we went for 2 and were completely bored as there isn't a lot to do outside the resort as it's quite remote. One other thing to warn you about is NOT to use transfers 4 u as we did. We couldn't find their rep at the airport on arrival and had terrible trouble contacting them to arrange our return transfer to the airport. Their agent there was really rude and totally unhelpful when we contacted her and just kept telling us to ring a number that just rang out and cut us off. The reason for our concern was that we knew of three couples who's transport simply didn't turn up. We then ended up sharing a minibus with 4 others when we had paid for a private transfer. There is so much confusion as they don't have the names of the passengers they are collecting so it's pot luck if the vehicle that turns up is actually yours. Have a good trip if you go as overall we did.

Room Tip: Ask for a room overlooking the pool and preferably on the top floor.

We were moved to this hotel just before our departure from the UK due to our hotel not been open. Luckily myself and 4 female friends were not disappointed. Although the hotel is a bit tired in appearance and needs some upgrading, overall it is excellent value for money. The food was good and the new head chef (only been there 4 days when we arrived) was very attentive. We had a very bad experience in the La Carte restaurant where the food and service were terrible. But out complaint quickly filtered back to the Head Chef. He prepared a meal of our choice for the following night and ensured the waiter who served us before served us again but in the manner one should expect. Excellent that they took note and quickly resolved the complaint.

The staff were all very helpful. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The Animation Team are excellent. What a group of great young men, who were friendly, funny and worked very hard to ensure everyone had a good time.

I would highly recommend the Spa. We had a 2 day spa of 1.5 hours per session. 3 hours in total with numerous treatments for £70 each. What a bargain!!

Excellent value for money and would go back again
