“Not sure what the fuss is about!”
Reviewed 19 June 2014 via mobile

We heard this was the best restaurant in the Marina so headed there at the beginning of our holiday. I found the staff and setting overly formal. My boyfriend was wax lyrical about his steak but my fishermans pot was average. The food and wine was more expensive than in the other restaurants we ate but the quality was no better. Its remarkable cheap to dine in Tunisia but why pay more for an average meal. Id suggest dining at La Duarade instead.

“60th birthday”
Reviewed 19 June 2014 via mobile

This restaurant was a recommendation from the thompson rep karrena.
we wanted to celebrate a 60th birthday and so we pre booked our table which overlooked the harbour.
our meal was absolutely superb. 2 of us had mussels in a creamy sauce wow a whole bucket full each
for main course we had steak x2 and lamb x2 both meals were cooked to perfection. A birthday cake was delivered to all the staff clapping and singing happy birthday a really fantastic evening and the whole meal including wine cost 271TDN really good value

“Nice enough, and a change from the AI food”
Reviewed 13 June 2014

Eating in the hotel when on an all inclusive basis can get boring, so we headed out to this restaurant.

Choice was limited, but the food was very nice. There were 6 in our party. We did not pre book. The setting is beautiful.

Everyone was happy with their choice - steaks, meat and vegi option. Good choice of wine. Water is not included, but a small amount of Mezzas are.

Could be better, but overall a good night out.

“disappointed”
Reviewed 12 June 2014

After reading such rave reviews the four of us visited this restaurant. For starters it was mussels and chicken and cheese brik which was very nice.2 had the sea bass stuffed with prawns and leeks really disappointed it was full of bones,i had the steak it was ok and the rack of lamb which again was ok,the vegetables that came with it were cauliflower, carrots and mash that was lumpy again was disappointing thought it should of been more authentic Mediterranean vegetables.2 had chocolate fondant which was very nice and lemon meringue which was average. All in all not what we expected my husband said he preferred the food at the hotel.
