My boyfriend and I went to this hotel last august for 10 days, and we could have easily gone for 2 weeks! What a fabulous hotel. We were a little dubious due to some reviews but there was absolutely no need to be!

Arrival - we arrived the same time as 5 other planes. Be prepared for a wait in the airport! The staff don't seem to be in a rush. Arrival at the hotel was great, about 40mins from the airport and we were greeted with dancers and a drink. Check in was easy and we were able to be in our room pretty much straight away.

Room - everything you need is there, don't expect 5* facilities. Everything worked, air con was brilliant and it's actually the best nights sleep I ever had on holiday.

Pool - as we went in peak times it was very busy, however we tipped the pool boy and he saved us the same sunbeds which was very much appreciated! Pool was lovely, I spent most of my time in there, lovely temperature.

Food - I'm quite a fussy eater but I was always full! There's some English favourites like chips and chicken nuggets and I lived off the freshly made paninis - lovely! None of us had an upset stomach but we knew which kind of foods to avoid.

Entertainment - we didn't really watch this as we spent most nights having a wander somewhere, but what we did see was ok.

Service - lovely staff, we didn't tip straight away but as we got to know them, a couple of dinar here and there was most appreciated by them. Especially in the lobby bar, I pretty much had a glass of vodka with a dash of coke!

Area - we walked into the marina a few times. It's only a 15 minute walk. In the marina, I didn't find the shop owners too bad, but I am used to Egypt where they drag you inside! If you said no thank you, they mostly left you alone.

Trips - we went to the roman ruins and a couple of boat trips - these were good and it was nice to have a change of scenery.

Overall we had a fantastic holiday, and we would return here in a heartbeat. Those complaining about little things are fussy. Don't expect 5* treatment if you don't pay those kind of prices! Would recommend to anyone :)

Hotel has now changed to Dessole Group it was very good before but even better now very friendly staff nothing to much trouble. Always spotlessly clean. Food very good with lots of choice. I am a fussy eater but can say that there has never been a time when there was nothing to eat. The beech is well looked after and always plenty of sunbeds and parasols. Will be back for our 10th time in September.

This was our first time in Tunisia and at an all inclusive hotel, and I can say we were not disappointed. The staff are the shining stars at this hotel, everyone from the guy cleaning the windows to the maids to the waiting staff were so so polite, cheerful and helpful. The food was varied and tasty, served throughout the day. Our room was great and it was cleaned daily with fresh towels and a full bottle of water too. The safe in the room was free to use which was a bonus. This is a country which a lot of people smoke and smoking is allowed virtually everywhere, just like England used to be a few years ago, we do not smoke, but there are areas that are no smoking, and it didn't bother us too much, there is a smell of smoke, but it doesn't cling to you or the furniture. The private beach is just a short walk from the hotel, and is managed well by the staff, food is available there but obviously not as much or as varied as the dining room, but we liked it and it was more than adequate for snacks etc. Try and learn a few Arabic phrases like hello, and thank you, it makes it all the nicer to thank the staff in their own language, and the measures seem to increase too!!! We would certainly go back again, highly reccomended.

Room Tip: we were in 467 which overlooked the central area which has nice views

Went here for a week at halfterm with two teenage grandsons. Efficient check in, but our room had only three beds on arrival. A fourth was quickly brought, but it turned out we had a really small room compared with other families who checked in the same time. Not really a problem as with an all inclusive you don't spend long in your room each day.
Rooms were kept spotless. Pool is lovely, plenty of sunbeds, although fights to get umbrellas. We tipped the pool guy daily, which was a mistake, as others gave him more on the first day and had their beds put ready for them.
We struggled to get towels for shower and pool. The hotel does not have the usual arrangement of getting towels from a towel bar. They are just the same towels you shower with, so you have to make sure you have enough to do both.
It was a shame the slides were only open for an hour. This clashed with the aqua areobics so it was not possible to do both. On our last day the slides opened in the afternoon as well, so I assume that would have continued to happen.
The food is okay, there is plenty, but somehow it just didn't seem to be a good enough quality. Fruit was hard, apart from the delicious melons and some things, such as strawberry yoghurt seemed to run out during the week and not be replaced. Often when one thing finished it was replaced by something different, rather than more of the same thing. Still at least we did not have cauliflower for breakfast, like our friends did in another hotel.
The staff are very friendly (too much for us, but that is a personal preference). The animation team work really hard to provide games for everyone but don't pester you to join in if it's not your thing. We didn't bother too much with evening entertainment, but enjoyed the Brazilian show.
Smoking in the hotel is a problem, and Thomas Cook should definitely mention it as it is allowed all through the hotel and some areas are really thick with it.
The beach is lovely, although it is a little bit of a walk. I thought from the brochure the hotel was right on the beach, but it isn't really.
We didn't use the facilities of the sister hotel, but it is a nice place to go for a change and according to our grandson, their wi fi is better!
We felt we probably had value for money at this hotel, but with a little attention to detail it could be four star.

Room Tip: Our second floor room was just above reception and although it was small compared with others it was...

Me and my partner stayed here for 7 nights on the 3rd May 2014.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful where needed. We were given a free safe in our room which i was glad of. The animation and events team were brilliant, made us feel "at home" and were very very friendly. The food was fantastic, all had english labels so we knew what it was. There was plenty of variety and also lots of english food which i thought was brilliant. Maids cleaned the room every day and also gave fresh water and towels every day. The view from our hotel room was amazing. We would deffinately recommend this hotel to others and will be returning next year!

First time visiting this hotel, 5th time in Tunisia (4 previous trips to Hammamet)

After a nightmare journey there, firstly flight delayed then 2 passengers removed, arrived later than anticipated this was a surprise trip to meet family who had flown in the morning. Getting through immigration at Enfidha took forever as only 3 people were processing passengers.

This hotel was 2nd drop off from the airport (30 mins)

Check in at the hotel was really quick all information we needed was given by the receptionist.

We spent most of the week by the pool, it's worth tipping the pool guys (as my dad did) as we had sun loungers everyday. We stayed by the kids pool with slides, the sun is there most of the day, usually around 2ish, it was in the shade but there's always a spot where you can catch the sun.

As is mentioned the slides were open for an hour between 11-12, HOWEVER our least 3 days the slides were opened in the afternoon too I think between 2-3 or 3-4. They are really good fun but 3 of the slide need the seals re-sealing as they aren't that smooth.

You do get asked to join in games around the pool but a simple no and they don't hassle you, you also get the sales people (henna, spa, t-shirts, and disco CD) again a no is enough to leave you alone, they usually know when you are new at the hotel.

The beach can be the same sales from people selling camel trips, horse riding, water sports. My brother and I did the paragliding, a tip... Haggle the price, we wanted to go up together and was told it would be 30 Dinars each, however due to the wind not being strong enough we couldn't go to together and got to go up solo for 40 Dinars as opposed to 60.

We spent a few ours at the marina, here we got the usual "come have a look in my shop" the minute you stop and chat to them you've had it. Do not be fooled by the sales of glass bottom boat by Albatross company, it's NOT glass bottom.. A few windows barely under the water is what you get.

Food and drink was edible, pool restaurant and beach one are simple snack bars whereas the main restaurant offers more variety. Food was very repetitive though different variations of beef stew, pasta's. I'm a fussy eater and always found something to eat.

Drinks were in small glasses but a tip early on you got bigger glasses.

Room was very spacious (307) although towels were an issue as only 2 towels for the room and to use around pool/beach luckily I took my own towel with me.

Staff were friendly and helpful.

Ice cream is tasty but be warned the green kind is not mint it's pistachio....

If you have a morning flight be warned you can't check in until 2pm and if you have a late return flight you have to be out by 12 noon
