Just returned and generally very good. Only problems were-
1) Drinks. Inconsistent, poor quality and tiny glasses. Beer ok, spirits local and cocktails varied massively in quality. Soft drinks were often warm and flat and some glasses were like thimbles.
2) Sunbeds. Must reserve by 7am or you have no chance. Shouldn't be like that at a 4* hotel. As well as this they were often then not used until the afternoon, very frustrating.
3) Daytime entertainment team didn't seem particularly productive and all the activities took place at the same time, so you could only do 1!

Plus sides-
1) food fantastic throughout the fortnight. Plenty of places to eat and choices.
2) rooms fine for what you need.
3) Really clean throughout including pool area.

We would happily return tomorrow as for what you pay it is great value for money.

We wanted a relaxing week in the sun and this definitely fitted the bill. We had a refurbished room at the back which had a large balcony and very efficient aircon. Tea and coffee in the room was never replenished and despite requests we never got any milk. We tipped at the end of the holiday rather than from the outset (how can you reward service before you have any?). So don't know if the milk issue would have been resolved if we had stumped up earlier?

Food was very good on the whole and was varied nightly. If you like pork products you will be disappointed but there was plenty else to choose from. I found the spirits served in the all inclusive deal a bit cheap tasting so stuck to the beer, which was very nice. We aren't big drinkers and you need more soft drinks/water in the heat anyway.

We realised after day one that we needed to reserve sunbeds fairly early each day to make sure we got a position away from the - at times (water aerobics) - very noisy pool area. Towards the end if the week it looked like they'd had a load more sun loungers delivered to address the problem.

As another reviewer said, the beach bar wasn't a steak restaurant as billed. Maybe later in the season? Poolside snacks were toasties - avoid the "ham".

The hotel in general was kept spotlessly clean and the staff worked hard and unobtrusively to maintain it.

The spa was excellent and we were offered a great price for some wonderful, professionally administered treatments that would have cost a fortune in the UK.

We didn't bother too much with the evening entertainment but were pleased we didn't have a pool-facing room as it would have been very noisy if you just wanted to chill in your room in the evening.

The beach area was very crowded with a fairly small swimming area marked out so I ended up leaving the snorkel in the suitcase, which was disappointing.

Would recommend but I would go early/late season as it would feel too rammed going in July/August, based on how busy it was starting to feel at the end of June.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the hotel 18th June 2014-25 June2014

We were handed cocktails on arrival Check in was fast and speedy no fuss.

Room was clean and towels were changed daily. If your a lady traveling with long hair take your own hair dryer as like all hotel hair dryers they won't dry your hair.

Food was amazing not bland and horrible like some all-inclusive food can be if ur food is cold it's only because you were walking round looking at all the food on offer some people took advantage of the food with tables full off food and was hardly touched.
Breakfast was always the same but when everything was offered u can't change it much!
You can get toasted sandwiches by the pool if u don't fancy going into the main resultant
Some people were moaning about the lack of bacon but for godsake you have choosen to go to a Muslim county they don't eat pork!!

We went on the market tour which was brilliant sellers start very high with prices but soon come down. We also went on the camel caravan with Joseph who has a stall round the pool who is very reasonably prices 30dinar each for a whole morning (£10)

You can get henna tattos done round by the pool too

Yes you do have to reserve sun beds but where don't you! You can get pool towels by the pool and these can be changed 3 times a week !

Men do have to where trousers but women can where what they want but like the rep said you can't tell a lady what to wear.

The beach is a short walk on a privet walk way which has a food and drink shack for all-inclusive guests

The spa was amazing too we both had treatments: black soap exfoliation and a clay body mask and full body massage for 100 dinars (£32 ish) and the indoor pool is salt water.

Out of the hotel I would advise turning your all-inclusive band over so hagglers don't know your hotel as they all seem to have a friend work there.

I was a bit worried about going to the hotel after reading some reviews but I can say I've been back 10 days and have just booked to go back! July 2015 can't come quick enough !!!!

I really think people are just out for a moan !!!

Room Tip: Get a high room Turn all-inclusive band over outside hotel Book a camel ride with Joseph Get up early to reserve sun beds

flight from Manchester arrived on time; took taxi transfer (suntransfers; very good) checked in with no hassle and enjoyed simple cold buffet at 22:30. Room 256 spacious and clean with sea view and kept clean all week. flat screen TV, complimentary toiletries, bath/shower. pool area and gardens very good, beach and beach bar good too. enjoyed breakfast on terrace each morning from 06:45; too hot to sit out at lunch; evening meal starts at 18:30 we usually went 20:30 (be careful as choice is less by this time, but we didn't want to eat earlier) Food seems to attract the most variable comments on trip advisor from those who complain of; too cold, too oily, too repetitive, lack of choice...all i can say is 'there's just no pleasing some folk! we stopped a week and found plenty of decent food and choice. Tunisian corner was good each night with some unusual dishes, pizza and pasta every night, chicken, beef and good election of vegetable based dishes. Amazingly the longest queue all week was for 'chicken nuggets and chips!!! drink measures were small and the beer glasses around the pool and beach ridiculously small, but once used to this presents little problem; bar staff had no issue with guests ordering numerous drinks at one visit. I note some reviews have been critical of surly staff; can't say we found this; perhaps some more attentive and friendly than others but i witnessed many guests embracing waiters at ends of meals or end of the holiday. Tips do help but not necessary. All in all, considering price paid, this hotel represents great value for money and would have no hesitation on returning. n.b. another issue appears to be around age of guests whether adults only or children friendly. we found a good mix of young and old, couples and family; we went as man/wife and my mother (separate rooms)

My wife and I have just spent our first wedding anniversary @ this hotel and I can defiantly say to all out there this hotel operate as a five star hotel with loads of staff 24 hours a day to look after your needs .... Myself here in the uk I work as a hotel maintenance manager for a group of four star plus hotels and have done for twenty years so I think I know what I want talking about and to help others choose a nice hotel......
This hotels food choices were great .... Always great quality foods over the three meals, with it and staff always there to help older people and seat you... And waiters to serve you.
At evening meals all us gents have to wear trousers so you feel yr going out to a nice restaurant plus the hotel do up the hall to a theme of a county with colourful drapes etc and food of the country.
Bedrooms great size and very very clean and cleaned daily to a very high standard. Pool area and gardens maintained to a exceptional standard also, this also has it's own private beach with bar. Good entertainment every night, also during the day to, cocktails were very nice plenty of choice... Can't fault the staff always there to help very friendly.
Looking at other review on trip advisor some people say queues at bar well that's rubbish as there just normal queues for that size of complex if you wanting instant service go to a rundown hotel with no one staying there and you can have a one to one then......
Over all I would recommend this hotel 100 % and second my wife and I are looking to spend our second wedding anniversary there to.

When out in Tunisia always haggle it is a sport over there so if shop keepers say £50 say I'll give you £10 and then meet up at £15

Great holiday thank you royal kenz .

Room Tip: Pool area can have the benefit of watching the entertainment n pool
