We stayed for one week in February; the stay was quiet and restful,
We arrived late Sunday evening was welcomed with a nice soft drink, and then shown to a nice room on the second floor, it was clean until my wife found a cockroach by the toilet door (not a good start)
We did report it to the Thompson rep, but heard nothing from reception and we never saw another one.
The bed had a few marks on the mattress, we asked for a replacement which we got, the air conditioning only works sometimes.

The breakfast is rather early 7.30, to 10.00 and there is no tea making faculties in the room, the fridge is empty no mini bar. You have to ask every night for water, as they don't leave you any water in the room.
The hotel is spotless and is cleaned all day the marble floors you can slip when wet???
The food over all is nice cannot fault the food or the staff, just one gripe my wife saw a waiter put a bread roll from guest plate back in the roll rack.??
This hotel is mainly for smokers you can smell the smoke, everywhere they can smoke except in the restaurant.
The pool is nice, and kept really clean, so is the gym. But watch out for the temperature in the hot tub can be scolding hot.
The outdoor pool is freezing not heated, the beach is filthy its very small and you get pestered by beach seller, and staff trying to sell you trips being polite is not good, best policy don't make eye contact. don't answer and don't tell them you English.
I think this holiday was really nice and would go again but in the summer months not in winter. right side of the pool is the sunny side left in the shade all day freezing.
If you do want to leave the hotel, and just like a short walk out, ( out the front of the hotel, do a left to the end of the road, is a little lane, up to the top of the lane is the main road left again, about 10 min walk past the shop where is jet planes, is a nice little restaurant, the food is great a so are friendly locals.
Get a pint of good premium lager there for 2 dinar 80 pence.

Room Tip: right side of the pool is the sunny side, ask before you go to your room, only change your cash sma...

We stayed here in January as a couple for one week. I will keep this short as most of the reviews on here have said it all. We had the best holiday ever and we have been to a lot of hotels. The staff were the best, the food was to die for,the pool area lovely, the maids were great 'PJs like a swan/butterfly/fan every day.The animation team were very professional with fantastic shows every night. Minolo even gave me his guitar for a while.Robin was a joy as were all the rest. This place caters for all ages and you leave feeling like your part of a big family. On the day we returned home we went straight to the travel agent and booked for two weeks in June.
Here's a tip for when you book. Take as much whiskey as you can in quarter bottles as it is worth more than its weight in gold to barter with.
We can't wait to return and be the annoying Aunty and Uncle to the kids.

My wife and I had the best two weeks in a long time at this Hotel and the people we were so friendly. We were made so welcome and the staff went that extra mile to make the holiday a good one. We met a mum and a twenty one year old who had her birthday at the hotel and what a day she had Marina McCue and her mum were such a laugh and good company. We will go back to this hotel in the near future. The food was good and the hotel was very clean. Even on the beach the man doing the beds and towels was very friendly and accommodating.

Just back from a week all inclusive at the Belleview Park. Not done an all inclusive holiday before but my partner and I thought we'd give it a go as a winter break. Hotel was exactly as the pictures on the Thomson website (made a nice change). As soon as we walked in we felt at home. Room was spotless and our maid was outstanding (think the tip of leaving a couple of chocolates on the bed each morning helped).

Food was plentiful and hot. Always a good variety. Yes we had a couple of days where things were left over from the previous evening meal but why waste food?!

Animation team were crazy in a good way. Some of the evening shows were not to our taste but everything was done with enthusiasm. You weren't hassled to join in if you didn't want to. Thomson rep is a Tunisian national (Issam) and wasn't preoccupied in selling you the trips, instead imparting useful local info on tipping and various things to make the stay pleasant.

Shame the weather was unseasonably cool but didn't stop us getting some sun.

All in all a highly recommended hotel. Have never wanted to have a return trip to anywhere before but will come back here again for certain.

Room Tip: Good to be on reception level

myself and my mother visited Tunisia for the first time on the 16/02/14 for one week to celebrate my 21st birthday it was the best holiday/birthday ever!!! Bellevue park is an amazing totally spotless and without a doubt faultless hotel. the food is brilliant with plenty of variety, staff couldn't be anymore friendlier and helpful. The A-TEAM entertainment boys where fantastic working endlessly making sure their are different activities accommodating for all age groups (me and my mum have almost learned to dance thanks to the patience of the boys)!! We didn't feel the need to leave the hotel at night because of mix in entertainment each night the boys are wonderful. I am giving Bellevue Park 5 stars for making my birthday/holiday so special it will be a memory I will keep forever and will most defiantly be back again soon. Thank you all so much.

First time in Tunisia but certainly won't be the last. The riu Bellevue is a lovely hotel, quite striking when you first enter the reception area with lots of marble and drapes.. Hotel is spotless, staff are very attentive, several of the staff we spoke to have worked at this hotel for 10 years plus. Food is excellent with plenty of choice. Loads of sunbeds. To be honest I could ramble on about how good this hotel is but it suffices to say we had a great holiday and were really well looked after, and are already thinking of going back.

Marina is really nice, it was out of season when we were there, arrived 12 Feb 14 but I bet it's fun and buzzin in season..

As for the street sellers, well they are no more annoying than the ones you find in Spain. If you are tempted to go into Sousse then go on the organised tour. If you are rubbish at haggling then dont go. Sousse is a city and a very busy one, we went but didn't think it was worth the trip. Enjoy the peace and relaxation of the hotel. Give it a go, you won't be disappointed ........
