Visited - July 2008 and what a place. Went along with 3 other couples, but for myself it was first ever time abroad and I am so glad I came here. Cheap and cheerful, didnt really have anything to compare it to but knew a good place when I seen it. Staff were very accomodating, friendly, food was very tasty.....and there was something to suit everyone. We went self catering and we found the food and beverage very reasonably priced. Entertainment was good.......at the weekend the boys behind the bar would jump around and dance and really got the guests buzzing. Maybe not suit really old couples as the music they played was very techno, dance, quite hardcore (just on a weekend night). Had a great view from the balcony, we had the best balcony out of all of us, a real sun trap and also a great view of the castle. Been to Turkey 3 times now but this is probably got to be my favourite. Would go back in a second!!

The hotel pool is tiny and not worth much.....but seriously, you have the beach 20 sec's walk away, why you would want to be next to pool, when you have a glorious sandy beach that close by. Be careful of the main road though.

the staff also made a differnt animal with the bed linen each night, it was a lovly little touch and yet to see this replicated anywhere else i've ever been.

little Gem of a place.

Room Tip: ask for the room with a castle view - stunning.

We stayed at the Kleopatra Euro Hotel for nine days from May 3rd this year and was a last minute bargain. We were apprehensive due to bad reviews, but were pleasantly surprised. The room was basic, but very clean and every day the maid changed the towels and made up the bed. There was a hairdryer in the bathroom, several toiletries and the shower was always piping hot! The swimming pool was small and clean, but hardly anyone used it, as mostly in the shade until late afternoon. The hotel bar was open until the early hours every night with bar manager who doubled as DJ. Breakfast was adequate, nothing to write home about, but the staff were always very friendly and helpful. The restaurant food was very good, and the resident local cat helped us to eat several meals! All in all for the price we paid, the hotel was excellent value and would definitely go back again.

The hotel which is situated on the noisy main road (NOT MENTIONED IN THE BROCHURES) is in need of re-furbishing and a thorough clean, two maids to clean a 58 bed hotel cannot do it justice. On arrival at 1am we had to make up our own beds??? All the bed linen and towels had holes and tears. The bedroom was only hoovered twice in a fortnight. The pool must be an architects joke it is so small and was never cleaned, the sunbeds and the cushions were dirty and need replacing. The photos of the pool in the Sunset brochure and on the NET must be bordering upon mis-representation The balcony stool was filthy with years of grime. The loud "disco music" from the outside bar continued until 4am resulting in broken sleep pattern. The food is mediocre, which neccessatated in eating out, the a la carte restaurant is chargeable (NOT MENTIONED IN THE BROCHURE) In no way can this hotel be described as a 3 star- a 1 star would be a better assessment. Definately a hotel to be given a very wide berth no matter how cheaply advertised.

I booked into this hotel with Thomas Cook (Sunset) as a last minute cancellation and thought I was getting a great deal for 5 nights half board at £300...

Good Points
- the room was very clean, and cleaned on a daily basis
- staff were very friendly and helpful
- location is very good, with it only being around 50m from the kleopatra beach

Bad Points
- pool is tiny and only gets around 2 hours of sunlight during the afternoon
- food is very basic and aimed at the european clientele (i only ate there 2 out of 5 nights!)

we were so dissapointed with this hotel. The only good thing was the location, handy for the beach, and a nice walk to the shops. the room was nothing like you see in the brochure, and the pool was green on one side as it doesent get any sun. we had no hot water all week even after complaining. the food was not nice and very little choice. If you like eggs for breakfast you are ok fried, boiled, oh we did get omlette one day. It was just a set meal in the evening not very good, cold hard chips one night ugh! and then they was on again the next morning with what looked like tomatoe sauce drizzled on them. I wouldent recomend this hotel at all very dissapointed
