“Nice Hotel, great Position”
Reviewed 4 December 2013

Two Couples, Checked in at 2.15am after nightmare 2 hour journey (which is the only let down to this resort). Process very quick with Aykan, the best member of staff who amused us every evening. Shown to our rooms swiftly, sea view as booked, very spacious and clean. Stocked fridge with soft drinks a bonus. No Tea tray, but not unusual. Amazed All Inclusive is 24 hours, so made our way to bar where hot food and snacks were served. Bar man in the snack bar a jobsworth, would rather play on his phone or sleep than serve.
Meal times not as advertised, often clearing away half an hour before closure for ALL meals, maybe time of year but we should have been advised. Food ok, soups delicious, breakfast a let down. Fresh Pizza in the snack bar were well worth going for. Coffee shop serves all different coffees and nice with a cake from the patisserie! Entertainment outside, very limited seating. Walk to harbour & town with plenty of bars 20 minutes, worth the stroll or 10 lira taxi ride. Private beach with free sunbeds and bar opposite, nice & sandy. We were the only British people at the hotel, which didn't bother us as we were with great friends. We recommend definately, although the Airlines in the Uk should consider going into Alanya Airport 20 mins away, rather than Antalya 2 hours away, as this transfer is rather off putting.

Room Tip: Seaview - we had side view overlooking one pool, our friends had a full seaview overlooking the sea...

Hotel was good, well cleaned. You could get food almost whenever you wanted. Food was alright, a lot to choose from. Unfortunately no outdoor possibilities while having breakfast, lunch or dinner, if you didn't eat in the snack bar. Free sunbeds both at the pool area and the beach, but there weren't enough beds for the no of guest staying at the hotel. Lovely sand beach, very close to the hotel, just across the street from the hotel. There was also a spa situated in the hotel with a lot of different treatments. We stayed in late September 2013. 2 adults, all inclusive, we are very pleased with our stay over all.

Room Tip: Pay a little extra to get a room with ocean view, it is worth it even if the balconies are small.

I hesitated before going there as the price was lower than other hotels in its class. When we arrived there we met a friendly front desk woman. The hotel is good, clean, friendly. The beach is not so good compared to other beaches of Alanya (like Kleopatra). Food was OK, not so great but good. The pools were not big enough, but I think most 4 stars hotels in Alanya are the same. Especially their view of "all-included" is great. You can find drinks any time during day and night.

Room Tip: Especially the rooms with sea view are great. Insist on sea view, because other rooms may not be so...

Stayed there in September 2012, two persons, all inclusive. It was the best holiday experience for me. The hotel was great, food the same and the personnel very friendly.
Loved the food there - I felt that I had a lot of choices, loved the fact that the beach was close and we had a beach bar with music.
The city was close and could take long walks in the evening and get to know a little the surrowndings. I would definitely go back at any time and recommend this hotel to all of my friends. There were no bad points from my point of view, everything was just perfect.

We stayed at this hotel from 7th to 14th of September 2013. All inclusive 2 audolts and 7 yo
Good: friendly stuff, clean rooms, good service, close to beach (own sunbeds for free), beach bar (no food there), great food and choices all day long 24/7. Nice beach (part stoneside). We had sea view, no noise carried to aour room. Hamam bath was wonderful, please try!
Bad: 2 pools on different sides of the hotel, not enough sun beds for the hotel of this size. Main restaurant situated badly (have to walk to another building through pool area). It has two floors, but the food is served only on the first floor. No entertaiment for children at all. For adoults 1 evening was live myusic show, nothing else. Beds were too hard for us.

great rooms and cleaning staff, had a great stay, the only couple of things that were bad was the mini bar the vodka was not that great and could tell it was cheap draft beer. receptionist girl was amazing so helpful, but nightshift guy was not that great though. The breakfast was amazing and the breakfast staff were great workers. We went on march so could not go in pool was far too cold. The nightclubs and pubs were too far away had to get a taxi or bus. one of the clubs were called robin hood, good music but robin bastards lol. back at the hotel the beach was amazing was so close too our hotel. also the turkish bath was to die for so amazing and relaxing. i would recommend this hotel in the summer time! but more for the dutch and germans etc we are british and did not meet a single british person whilst there.

Room Tip: second floor

We stayed at the Monart City Hotel with friends (2 other couples) in July 2013. When we got there we were not given the rooms that should have been allocated to us as we paid extra to have sea views and we were given other rooms for 2 nights that were on the side of the hotel with no views whatsoever, they obviously double booked the rooms and we were very disappointed. But they tried very hard to get us rooms that we really liked to make up for it and that had beautiful views of the beach and the castle and were very apologetic. The food was amazing, with choices to suit everyone and to our amazement they are open for food and drink 24/7, we always stay at hotels that offer all inclusive but never have they offered food and drink around the clock!! But this didnt cause problems with people getting drunk. There is also a hotel bar on the beach and a lady who cooks fresh food which was very nice. The staff were wonderful, very helpful and sociable. There is an onsite photographer who takes the most amazing pictures and we had some taken at the hotel and on the beach, he is very professional and the photo's are not over priced, we bought most of the ones taken as they were so good! We also found him to be very friendly and he always made an effort to come and say hello. The evening entertainment was the biggest let down, we enjoyed the belly dancing and fire evening, also the Mr & Mrs but apart from that there wasnt anything and for a hotel that size and with the amount of people there it could have been very much improved by having entertainment every night and make it varied. There was alot of Russians and Germans and they were quite rude! Me and my friends like to dress up of an evening while on holiday and the Russian and German women obviously dont and they stared at us, evening laughing whilst looking at us up and down, perhaps they didnt like the fact that we made an effort but me and my two female friends found this quite rude and offensive! We were told that not many English visit Alanya and they weren't wrong, it is a beautiful place with lots to do and see including great shopping, perhaps the transfer from the airport is too far which puts the English off as it took 2.5 hrs, but I believe they are building an airport nearer to Alanya at the end of 2013, that will make a difference. While we were there, one of our friends celebrated his birthday and I told reception, that evening they dressed up the dinner table with silk flowers and made a birthday cake which was absolutely gorgeous, they went to alot of effort and it was a lovely touch to our holiday. We also had treatments at the spa including a Turkish bath inlcuding a facial mask and massage, it was wonderful and would highly receommend it, they were very professional. So all in all it is a great hotel in a very good location with great food and friendly, helpful staff, the only let down was the entertainment and the other guests!!

Room Tip: Choose the rooms with a sea view, well worth the extra money
