“Perfect hotel, amazing holiday!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 May 2014 via mobile

Just come home from a wonderful holiday at the Monart City hotel, and already looking to book again for later in the year!
This hotel was more than we expected. It was very clean in all areas, our room maid couldnt do more for us.
The bar staff were very helpful and table service was offered for all drinks-the boys couldnt work any harder and very very friendly.
The restaurant offered a wide choice of food which both looked beautiful and tasted beautiful which plenty of choice!
Must go into the super market on site and gentelman in their (cant remember his name) would go out of his way to help you. And his shop offered plenty which ia cheaper than other shops off site.
The hotel offers a turkish bath-which is a must it was a lovely relexing couple of hours and the massage girls were very good! Wish we had another one while there.
The town is only a 25 min walk or you can get the bus for 2tl. Shopping is great, restaurants lovely, and the nightlife was brilliant.
All in all an amazing hoilday, meet some lovely people who I can't wait to meet again.
I highly recommend this hotel and all its staff so thank you all at Monart city for everything xx

My wife and I had a really good chill out at the Monart City. It was excellent value for money. We were there from 29 April till 06 May 2014.
The flight from Manchester with Thomas Cook was second to none, new plane and excellent staff. We took off on time and landed on time. Once we landed we knew we were in Turkey!
We booked the trip with Broadway Travel who were as slick and professional as they always are but on this occasion their Transfer supplier A2B Travel were diametrically the opposite to excellent. Three planes landed at approximately the same time at Antalya airport, Thomas Cook, Monarch and Easyjet. All the holidaymakers who were going to Alanya were given the same information by their holiday providers. Get your bags, go out of the terminal, cross the road and look for desk No 60 - A2B travel. Guess what, when we found it the light out, no sign, completely deserted. We were told by the Thomas Cook Rep that they couldn't really help, but told us to look for a man with a white shirt and a yellow tie. To cut a long story short there was nobody to meet us, we did find a man with a white shirt and a yellow tie who was a driver for another bus but not ours who sorted the situation out best he could and got a fellow out from A2B.
Our plane landed at 22.15, we got out of the car park at just gone midnight with 127 kms to go. We very slowly got on the road then halfway through the journey the driver stopped for a tea and soup break for 20 mins!!! We were all desperate just to get to our final destinations. Anyway we were dropped off at 2.20 am at the Hotel. Others had further to go who were at different hotels.
Reception were very helpful and friendly, they quickly sorted us out with our rooms and directed us to a bar/restaurant where we could get hot food and a drink - which were all very good.
The hotel consisted of three separate blocks containing out rooms and the rest of the necessary amenities and facilities. There were two pools, each with their own bars. The main restaurant was very good, it was on two floors and self service. The staff were helpful in the main and the food was excellent. The biggest problem was finding a cup of coffee as a lot of the machines just kept running out and then if the coffee was there the cups weren't. On the plus side they didn't run out of beer or wine. You could get food and drink pretty well 24 hours a day. They had an A la carte restaurant which you could use a couple of times if you wanted, we tried it once and it was OK to good.
Our room was good and the maid cleaned everyday. Ours was on the front, the right hand block looking from the road - which was very noisy even with the windows closed due to constant traffic. Having said that you can't have a sea view without the noise. On the plus side you could sit on the balcony and watch the world go by.
It was easy to walk to the harbor and into town or you could walk down the prom. You could hire bikes if you wanted to and cycle the prom in a safe bike lane. There were shops all around and bigger shops and malls in town. There was also a good bus service.
The beach was just across the road and had beds and a bar, it was a bit stony towards the waters edge so some cheap pool shoes would be a boon.
The hotel all round was very good to excellent and value for money.

Room Tip: If you don't get on with traffic noise don't get a room adjacent to the road.

We stayed at the hotel from 25th April to 2nd May 2014 and got a good room with lovely views over the promenade, beach and sea. Very good hotel, nice and clean. Lots of good food at every meal, but at times a little wait to get a table and food. All the staff did their best to ensure that we as guests should enjoy our stay. The rooms were cleaned every day but it was rather poor with the washing of floors and bathrooms. The beach was right across the street and there were loungers for everyone. The beach was quite ok but it had some small rocks where we went into the sea. Another advantage was the short distance to Alanya city center, approx. 1.5 km. We were very pleased with our stay and we will probably be back for sure :)

Room Tip: Sea view with corner balcony

Great hotel with a great location. I stayed here march 2014 I had a room with sea view which was lovely and at night had great views of sunsets and castle all lit up which was very pretty. I found the hotel staff brilliant they all spoke great English and were so helpful I could not fault them from barstaff to reception to restraint they work so hard to make your trip enjoyable. I also had 2 visits to the Turkish bath which was amazing sooo relaxing. I also loved the fact that there were some shops in the complex as I was there alone it was nice as the man in the shop was so helpful and if he could get anything for you he would really go out of his way to help. the shop had all the things you need for your stay and more great value too cheaper than the shops outside. I enjoyed my stay so much that I have already booked again for July. 61 days and counting cannot wait to go back and see the staff that looked after me so well xx

Room Tip: I would definitely recommend a sea view room the balconys are quite small but did not bother me at a...

The title says it all really, we were a group of English, staying April 2014. We seemed to be more or less the only English staying in the hotel, which was fine by us, the other guests were mainly Scandinavian and Dutch, and were generally friendly and up for a laugh.

Rooms were fine, although in my view this is the least important aspect of a holiday. It had some beds, walls and a roof, and the maids were good. Oh and a nice sea view from the balcony. The staff were all brilliant, without exception. Really friendly, and always up for having a joke with you.

The position is spot on. Far enough out to not be constantly hassled, but close enough to easily walk into the center of Alanya. Has it's own beach, which was really nice, with a beach bar serving cold beer and soft drinks. The food was generally tasty and varied.

That's probably about it, I'll definitely be staying here again should the chance arise.

Room Tip: As far as I could tell, most rooms seem to have a goood sea view.

June 2013 with family and friends.

We get great service for all staff members and feel everyday that everybody wants to make our holiday memorable.

Hotel was just renovated so it was like a new.

Private beach was good sunbeds ands drinks was part of AI.

Food was good and has many options, also snack bar with pizza was very good.
You could have one time a´la carte for free also which was also a nice bonus.

We had one family room in main building with two balcony(view was not so great but we almost only sleep our room) and one twin room with seaview.
Cleanliness was high standard.

City is near so you can walk there easily or take taxi which was quite cheap.

Two pools and two pool bars.

The experience was so good that we are going into the Monart City again in March.

Two Couples, Checked in at 2.15am after nightmare 2 hour journey (which is the only let down to this resort). Process very quick with Aykan, the best member of staff who amused us every evening. Shown to our rooms swiftly, sea view as booked, very spacious and clean. Stocked fridge with soft drinks a bonus. No Tea tray, but not unusual. Amazed All Inclusive is 24 hours, so made our way to bar where hot food and snacks were served. Bar man in the snack bar a jobsworth, would rather play on his phone or sleep than serve.
Meal times not as advertised, often clearing away half an hour before closure for ALL meals, maybe time of year but we should have been advised. Food ok, soups delicious, breakfast a let down. Fresh Pizza in the snack bar were well worth going for. Coffee shop serves all different coffees and nice with a cake from the patisserie! Entertainment outside, very limited seating. Walk to harbour & town with plenty of bars 20 minutes, worth the stroll or 10 lira taxi ride. Private beach with free sunbeds and bar opposite, nice & sandy. We were the only British people at the hotel, which didn't bother us as we were with great friends. We recommend definately, although the Airlines in the Uk should consider going into Alanya Airport 20 mins away, rather than Antalya 2 hours away, as this transfer is rather off putting.

Room Tip: Seaview - we had side view overlooking one pool, our friends had a full seaview overlooking the sea...
