Booked through Broadway Travel (stay away). Hotel rooms are excellent standard, clean, comfortable and all your needs met. The food was bland and repetitive. The bars shut at 11.30 pm and after that there is nothing to do in the hotel apart from bed. The animation team worked hard to keep children happy. There was a few bits on in the evening, quizzes and karaoke. The hotel advertises as "ultimate all inclusive". This is untrue as if you want named spirits(which we were promised at booking) you have too pay 8 euros per drink. Some of the waiters were in need of deodorant. Bar staff were excellent. The hotel had a vast amount of Russians who spoilt the atmosphere by being rude, drunk and loud. They had no manners in the dining hall and could not eat with a knife and fork opting for a spoon. Wifi was good. The hotel is in a built up housing estate next to a mosque which called for prayers 4-5times a day and this is very loud but what do you expect in a Muslim country. Did go up to the town which was only 2 lira on the bus. That was an experience be prepared to be hasseled and to haggle prices. The town catered for all. Would we go back "NO". If the hotel catered for the English maybe. But not everyone likes chips for breakfast. !! And don't book through Broadway as they rip you off on transfers and lie about premium drinks. A2B are crap and don't know where they are going!! We paid for a private transfer as this was sold to us by cutting down travel time and not stopping at various hotels. We go told there was no such transfers and got on the bus like everyone else.

Room Tip: Book above the 4th floor! 7th floor had excellent views

One of the best holidays we have had, the facilities were excellent and the staff friendly and helpful. Met lots of really nice guests in the resort, special mention goes to the Animation team who were all extremely friendly and helpful, and always had smiles on their faces and made every effort to entertain the guests. No complaints at all about the resort, would definitely return to the resort again if Broadway travel were to contract a professional transfer company instead of the farcical and totally unprofessional outfit going under the name of A2B, 6hrs 30 mins from airport to resort is ridiculous.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a seaview.

Just returned from Diamond Hill hotel. It was lovely. We had not paid top price for this hotel so for £329 all inclusive including upgrades and sea view and transfers it was excellent.
Try the beach bar for lunch, their flatbreads are to die for.
Try Albert for booking excursions he is located just before the tunnel on to the beach. He is a lovely character.

Room Tip: The higher the floor the better the view.

Just returned from this hotel, which we enjoyed, but the experience could have been made so much better with a few alterations We booked all inclusive with broadway travel at a very competitive price, but be aware that the transfers are not 1 hour 40 mins as we were told at time of booking, in fact 3 hours 30 mins, these were provided by A 2 B and nearly everybody that used there services at this hotel had, had some problems. Staff work very hard and long hours , but could really do with some training in customer service, uniform cleanliness and training on how to make cocktails, which we gave up on as it was just impossible to get a good cocktail. Rooms were clean. Easy to get a bus into Alanya. Overall a good holiday.

Room Tip: A lot of the rooms have seaviews and small balconies, but rooms nearest to the mosque get woken up a...

Flew back on Tuesday morning after spending a week here. Check in was ok, our room was on the 7th floor with a good view of the sea and despite previous reports the wi-fi reception was good. Room cleaned everyday and towels replaced everyday.
There are 4 lifts of which 3 are used by 80% of the guests, however the fourth lift which is on the left of the hotel entrance is rarely used. Lifts are always busy during, breakfast, lunch and dinner and it does not help when guests press all the buttons on the 3 lifts in the centre of the hotel.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner does have a variety of selections, looks repetitive but who is going to eat every dish every day! Never got the need to try the late night snacks.
All the staff work very hard and imo very long hours and are a great credit to the hotel.
Alanya town centre is only 4 km away, only 2 tukish lira by bus (1 or 101), get ready to haggle if you do visit the fake designer garments/bag stores.
For those who want to go on the excursions, avoid the castle and Dim caves trip especially if you have very young children or are the elderly as you will be going up and down steep slippery steps.
Lastly we had booked A2B transfers, it took us just over 2 hours getting to the hotel but on the return journey we lost over an hour as the driver did not know his way to the last pickup point, just over 3 hours to the airport and we just got there in the nick of time to catch the flight!

Room Tip: 4th floor or above, 7th floor was great as we had a great view of the sea

We have just returned from Diamond Hill resort and had a fantastic time at this hotel. It is certainly 5 star by Turkish standards First I would like to compliment the reception staff who went out their way to help and resolve any problems The guest relation guy Cenap was an absolute star at getting you information re pick ups and daily greeted you to make sure you had no problems and were enjoying your stay at Diamond Hill

The animation team worked their socks off to make sure everyone old and young alike had a great time.

The room facilities are a high standard and quality minor disappointment was that we needed to chase up reception for bath towels on 2 occasions but they were provided within minutes of a phone call

The standard of food is very good ok it is repetitive chicken fish beef salads but think about isn't every hotel more or less the same Sit on the outside terrace with Ali as your waiter a little tip 10 lira will go along way nothing was too much for him He always had a smile for you and had your table cleared as you went along without being intrusive or over bearing The a la carte restaurant is a must to try some Turkish food I was wary but furtherly enjoyed it

Minor disappointment is the lobby bar gets busy after dinner between 8 and 9.30 expect long waits as they do not have enough barmen at this time and everyone seems to want cocktails The view from reception overlooking the waste ground detracts from the hotel but I understand that the land owner refuses to sell the land to the hotel

On the whole we had an excellent time at the Diamond Hill resort

One thing if you book a package the transfer with A2B is a nightmare hanging around Antalya airport dropping off and picking up at various hotels took 3 to 4 hours going and coming back also the airport is 90 miles from Diamond Hill cheaper to book privately with Albert at the beach for 70 euros whether it be 2 people or 6

If you miss your English grub then try Big Bens Bar on the way to town or 22TL in a taxi from the hotel

Room Tip: Request a sea facing room 5th floor or above

I have just come back from the Diamond Hill resort in Alanya, Turkey. This is a 5 star hotel and is very nice, spacious and clean. It deserves a 5 star rating. My only down point is that the food is repetitive, though still very nice. Transport to and from the hotel is bad but this is not the hotels fault. The spa is lovely and no one gives you any hassle in the hotel. The pool is large and the beach area friendly. Beach towels are also supplied for free. Book your trips with Albert by the tunnel. Far cheaper. And don't listen to anything the Broadway Travel Rep says. He lies all the time! Other than that a great week!
