Hotel very nice and close to everything.
Super very friendly and helpfull Staff, Thank you !!

Turkish bath, excellent. you must pass the pool and the fittness-room, and go inside, but still in the pool-area Staff very professional. The massage team TOP CLASS. Will be back !!
Ask for Ahmet, very professional massage.
In the massage / turkish bath you are always welcome, even you do not stay in the hotel. Absolutely worth trying

This hotel was a very pleasant surprise, I was a little bit worried after I read some of the other reviews here that said it is dirty, unfriendly etc. But none of that proved true.

So at first, our room - it was adequate for the price, simple but nice and clean. Air conditioning was working fine, TV had many channels from many countries (even one from Czech republic, what pleased me :-) So no objections here.

Panorama hotel is a big complex which is composed of four or five big buildings and a bunch of bungalows. It is clean and nice everywhere, I also noticed that they also have well-kept lawn and a lot of planted flowers in the area, which can't be easy to maintain in the hot environment of summer Turkey. From the facilities, there is a pool, fitness centre, billiard, table tennis, tennis, volleyball, turkish bath, internet centre... Everything for free.

The food was good, everything in a buffet form. What I found fascinating were the desserts - every lunch, every dinner about 3 different kinds of cakes (different at every meal!) and about 20 kinds of other desserts; I don't like sweets too much, but they were really delicious here :-)

There are three bars - beach bar, pool bar and the Panorama bar (above the reception). As an all inclusive guest, you have unlimited consumation of beer, wine, soft drinks and local liquers (gin, vodka, raki, etc.). The beverages were good, except for the beer, which tasted funny (strong sour touch, I wonder if they ever cleaned the tap pipes).

The beach is nice and clean, water in the sea was also clean, except for two days, when it was polluted with trash. I really don't know where it was coming from, but for me it was acceptable as it occured only twice in the afternoon - the next morning the water was pure again.

About the mattresses on the sunbeds, mentioned in other reviews - we didn't have to pay anything, the only fee was if you wanted to change your towels for new ones (1 euro each). All the reviews mentioning the problems were 2010 or older, so maybe Panorama changed their "mattress policy" :-)

The staff were friendly, smiling and nice. If you want to have them even more friendly, smiling and nice, bring enough change for baksheesh (tips) :-) Baksheesh doesn't include only tipping in restaurants, in this country you can find "tip boxes" at hotel receptions, buses etc. Giving a baksheesh is a demonstration of gratitude towards a service provider.

If you attend the local market, or actually any shop in general, be prepared to haggle over the price. Food, drinks and pharmacy products usually have fixed price, but you have to negotiate over almost everything else - it is like a national sport :-) The prices usually start at about 200 % of the real value, so accepting the first offer isn't usually a good idea :-)

For those of you who like sightseeing trips, right in the city there is a fortress and also a harbor with many ships that can take you on a sea trip. If you wanna go to some trip organized by your travel agency, beware that many historical sites are really far away from the city, so these are usually all-day trips. The trip I really recommend (unfortunately I can't remember the name of the company) was the "jeep safari", where they take you with jeeps off-road to the mountains where you can enjoy the beautiful nature. After that you will see a village mosque, nomad house and Turkish rural life in general. It takes about 7 hours and for 30 euro I think it was the best trip around.

Beware that in the summer there is really hot in Turkey. 44°C in the noon is no exception there, but luckily you can survives those thermal swings in the beach bar with a coctail :-)

Wi-fi connection is free of charge and avaiable only at the reception and the pool bar. This was a little disappointing, after reading the prospects I expected an internet connection in the rooms, but is not a big deal as you can go sit with your laptop to air-conditioned reception :-)

So in general I can fully recommend this hotel. Friendly staff, good food, clean rooms, many facilities - I really enjoyed my stay here and wouldn't hesitate coming back :-)

Avoid this place it is really dirty, I mean beach and the see and the swimming pool. moreover unfriendly service and crowded restaurant. There are a lot nice resorts around.
I was disapointed.
Only good thing was the flated bread preparing by th e nice lady, which you can eat with ayran. But that is not enough.

One of the best Hotels, and very good service. Good food, the all inclusive concept, is all the worth. We stayed there for 2 weeks. And liked it very much. We will stay there again next time we are visiting Alanya. Mette and Michael, DENMARK

I and my husband (both over 40) had a holiday in Panorama in April. We enjoyed our stay there very much: the meals were excellent (much fresh and cooked vegetables, delicious meat and fish etc), service both in beach and pool-bars was very friendly and decent. Nothing bad about reception and room-service as well. We stayed there at the beginning of season and the number of holiday-makers was fewer than it could be in top season. There was no crowd anywhere and the holiday was really relaxing. I definitely recommend Panorama.

Few not great things about this hotel and place in Alanya.
We got all messed up room at our arrival. It took almost 15 minutes for the non english speaking turks to find a prepared room. This other room happened to be prepared at last. However room was small, with old furniture and air conditioning barely working, while the heat in the room is incredible. It was maximum 2 star room! Not a 4 star. Ok, it is Turkey, but come on!
We required to change the room immediately, but they could not find any decent one until next day. Finally, next day we got bigger, cleaner room with air conditioning working properly. However it was still maximum 3 star room. Oh yes.

The beach. Travel agency confirmed the sunbeds at the beach ar free of charge. Well, they are free. Only if you dare to take the mattress of them. First day we had to pay, while we did not know for what, and none of the staff wanted to explain this. Next day we took the mattresses off (while we actually don't need them anyway) and it was finally free. But stop right there - I have not seen dirtier sea in my life! After walking by the coast from hotel until I reached the port, the sea was full of trash and sewer stuff (you can imagine what it was). We and many other from our company never dared to come to the beach again. Vacation was spent by the pool at hotel.

Believe it or not - there is a small stream passing near the hotel, coming through all town and reaching the sea - that was probably the answer for the dirty sea. I have heard about it before coming to Alanya, but never believed it was true. Sad but true. Beach should be closed for sanitary reasons indeed.

The food and the pool at the hotel were ok.

Shortly, if you still have very strong plans visiting Alanya - try Kleopatra beach and hotels there. We checked the beach there. It was better.
