We stayed here for two weeks 29th-12th April. Check in quick and easy and cases handled by porters. Room was lovely, side sea view, single and queen sized beds with a sofa. Mini bar well stocked which was refilled daily. Tea and coffee making facilities too.Towels changed daily and room cleaned daily. This hotel is spotless. Pool areas are absolutely beautiful and well maintained. Spa, which we didn't use but had a nosey around looked lovely and they were offering 2 for 1 deals on treatments. Food at breakfast was good, plenty of choice with freshly squeezed oj and eggs lots of ways. Lunch could be eaten in main restaurant or outside. We much preferred eating outside as quality and temperature of food much better. Evening meals are just ok, wee bit bland and whilst I appreciate they are cooking for lots of nationality's and a huge amount of people it is billed as 5 star hotel and they are letting themselves down here. Mainly on the main courses as salad and soups are excellent. The three a la carte restaurants were delivering very good quality food and were usually empty.....why, I don't know as food much better than in main restaurant. Entertainment was ok, made enjoyable by the guys who work in the hotel, difficulty remembering their names but really feel they deserve a mention as they were wonderful with adults and children alike. Baruk ,Mahmut and Irfan well done guys. Couple of bars to choose from, the 24hr bar was beautiful to sit in and very relaxing with great cocktails. Was a bowling alley beside this bar but we didn't use it as found it a little expensive. Small arcade area which my children loved aged 7 & 10 yrs. Not too expensive to play games and kept them amused in evening before entertainment team were around.

Finally the only thing that let the hotel down big style for our family was the kids club. In all honesty we booked the hotel on its reviews and the fact it had a kids club. The club only really supports the under 5's and does not cater at all to the 6 and upwards range. So if you have older children and are looking for a hotel with great kids club facilities then im afraid its not the Baia Lara you want.
I think this is ultimately a beautiful hotel and caters well to the masses.
Sadly, we didn't do our research properly as only realised after we arrived there is nothing to do outside the hotel. Strip of land with 5 star hotels on it and very little else around. We took the local bus to visit Kaleci in Antalya which was gorgeous and well worth the hour on a bus. Our weather was fabulous and this hotel is well worth a visit.

Room Tip: Friends had the one of the family rooms that overlook the pools etc. Well worth extra as much bigger...

We stayed here 1st -8th april 2014. Checkin was quick and we were soon shown to our room. Side seaview good sized balcony with table and chairs. The room was clean, spacious with mini bar, tea/coffee facilities tv and dvd player and a HUGE bed. The bathroom was clean and had plenty of toiletries. mini bar, toiletries etc were replenished daily. The pool area was fantastic clean, relaxing with plenty of sun beds. Food in the restaurant was good, quite a lot of choice. The outside eateries were great, right by the pool and it was a sort of food court style with various areas having different food salad bar, burgers, pasta, turkish pide, kebabs fresh friut ,icecream.waffles and a pizza oven where you chose your own topping and then they were cooked in the wood fired oven while you waited. As it was early season not all facilities were open and there is another food area which is fish etc which was being got ready for opening. Staff are very friendly, drinks flowed, gardens are lovely.Whats not to like? Yes there is building going on next door there is a water park being built but we didn't find it intrusive. We could hardly hear it when sat around the pool and our room overlooked it but as we only use our room for showering and bedtime it wasn't a problem for us, there was not much noise at all and it was quite amusing watching them sometimes. They only use the occasional digger and dozer
All in all we had a wonderful restful week in the sun and we would return .

Hotel is wonderful. Spotlessly clean. The staff are brilliant especially the entertainment team. Would highly recommend it. Pools are cleaned and sanitised every day. Food is tremendous, bar staff are very attentive. Would definitely go back.

We stayed at this hotel for seven nights in mid March and had a fantastic time. Around the pool area and down to the beach is absolutely beautiful.
The hotel was nearly full due to it being Iranian New Year, at one point 175 rooms were occupied by people from Iran (breakdown of all nationalities at the hotel was displayed in the lifts daily). The staff were very helpful and friendly in all areas of the hotel. The room was really big so there was plenty of space, and we could see the sea from our room making for great views when sitting out on the balcony. We made sure to put all of our valuables in the safe and keep the door bolted locked for most of the week as even when the sign is on the door saying that we are in the room the cleaner let herself in and asked if we had change for €5, which we found intrusive. Also be aware that if you go to have a look at the spa area it is not run by the hotel but buy an outside company, and they might try to talk you into buying the hammam Turkish bath that even with the buy one get one free offer is still expensive compared to off site spas.
There was plenty of food choices on offer, we especially enjoyed the outside lunch buffet. The outside pizzeria was amazing so we'd definitely say to find that as we only found it the day before leaving which was a shame. Also enjoyed the cocktails, a good selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic, and there were plenty of drinks to choose from at the bars.
The big pool that was open to swim in was very cold but the heated outdoor pool was very pleasant.
A small thing that we found useful was the scales in the luggage room to make sure cases aren't overweight if you've been shopping.
We had a great holiday overall, only quibbles were those mentioned above. This hotel is fantastic for people who just want to spend the week relaxing in paradise. Not sure if we would return because we like to get out and explore the area and it is mainly hotels all along this strip with a few shopping areas that sell clothes and souvenirs. Also as a side note, If you get a chance to visit Antalya City it has some beautiful areas and is well worth a trip.

I travelled with family to this hotel and we are all again returning in April 2014 which will be our 3rd visit. I have travelled to hotels all over Turkey and the rest of the world and I can not stress enough that this hotel is fantastic and you will not be dissapointed if you book. I can not understand the review stating that the hotel was a beautiful place but then have marked it as 2* for money going missing when there is a free safe provided in all rooms. Please do not let this put you off! Most guests here are repeat visitors hence why sometimes you can struggle booking a room, we booked our return visit as soon as we arrived home from our previous stay. My partner is a fussy eater but always manages to find something that he likes at this hotel and the made to order pizza's outside are lovely. Also a big mention to the entertainment team especially Cem who always make our visits extra memorable by being so friendly and attentive. Im sure our next visit will definately not be our last!!!!
