“Excellent all inclusive resort for families”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 April 2014

This is an excellent all inclusive resort for families. Visiting over Easter 2014, we were two families, 4 adults, 4 kids aged 4 to 12 years.
We stayed in the deluxe suites which were VERY VERY VERY spacious. The hotel was very neat and clean, which one would expect as it is only 3 years old. When they are busy, the drinks service is somewhat slow, otherwise the service is fine. This is a genuine 5 star resort ( but not 5 star deluxe) which is great for families.

we visited this hotel for a week in April for a family holiday of me & my partner and 2 sons aged 8 & 11. the Hotel grounds and rooms are of excellent standard and design and cant be faulted. The pool were of high standard also and the slides were amazing as my sons were never off them. the only thing that let down the pool was the fact it was 1.4 metres in depth in all areas of the main pool with only the kids pools offering a shallower alternative but these were at 3ft deep so with my boys wanting to dive in and jump in the pool i had to be constantly aware as the pool was slightly deeper that they were able to reach the floor.
The food was of a very high standard and catered for all types of diets, i couldn't find any error with the food and the fact you could find food at any point of the day no matter what the time was excellent.
The drinks were good and only a lack of staffing let this down. if you were to wait for a waiter between drinks and not go to the bar yourself you would find yourself waiting for drinks, service at the bars was always fast and reliable but a few more staff would of put the bar service and drinks waiter ed to your table at the highest standard.
The evening entertainment also offered a lot of variety but we felt slightly let down that they wasn't on offer a big show entertainment for the hotel like fire dancers, competitions for Mr Hotel etc. There is a games room for the kids which they loved but going in here every night and having to buy tokens for the machines can turn out to be a very expensive addition to the holiday cost.
Overall the holiday was of a high standard with only a very few minor faults. These were the lack of big show entertainment for the nights, shortage of staffing on bar service meaning bar service to your table was of long waits.
The shops in the hotel are extremely expensive and the inflatables tend to be of poor standard, we went through 2 sets of snorkels & 2 lilos in the space of the week, i would highly advise going just out of the hotel to the nearby shopping center and buying your inflatables and goods from these shops which are much more reasonably priced. This is a 2 minute walk from the hotel.

Just returned from a two week holiday here, with my husband and two children, aged 2 and 5. We had a fantastic time and can't complain about a thing! We usually stay at a different hotel in Lara Beach but thought we would give this one a try and did not regret it once, the hotel was stunning, the rooms were very spacious and the staff were so helpful. There was plenty of choice at meal times, pizza, kebabs, jacket potatoes available from snack bars at lunch as well as the main restaurants. We tried the Turkish and Mexican a la carte restaurants which were both lovely. We never struggled to find something for our children to enjoy and you could literally eat 24 hours a day. There is a little play area for young children - slides, swings etc as well as a few small rides at the funfair and a handy covered area at the beach with buckets and spades provided, they both loved the mini disco on the evening too. A special mention must go to Mehmet, one of the waiters - he was fantastic. Would definitely return to this hotel, a good tip is to tip waiters early on in the holiday - tables ready all the time and request a room on a higher floor (I emailed before I arrived) - no complaints about any noise from the lobby then!

Room Tip: Request a higher floor, we had a sea view room which was great but spent no time on the balcony so w...

Wow that's what I thought of this hotel on arrival.
The first hotel that actually relates to the excellent reviews.
Hotel was stunning, very very clean.
Staff was unbelievably helpful despite they're long working shifts.
Food was fantastic I really find it hard to understand if people can't find food to suit they're tastes.
All inclusive was brilliant
Although this holiday was the beginning of the season the entertainment staff was great and respectful that some people are on holiday to just relax.

I just wished the pier had opened before we left, but it is a work in progress that takes place seasonally. The pier parties look great fun once opened.

Our only vice was the beach is a pebbled beach, and uncomfortable under foot, again nothing that can't be overcome with rock shoes. Which on our next visit we will take with us.

Overall very impressive luxurious holiday for 2 hard working Brits

One suggestion I would make there are less numbers of Brits that visit this hotel.
And for those of us who did, we all felt that it was missing a sports bar, as the only sports channel was Eurosport, so us premier league loving football fans had to watch the game at a local supermarket with a make shift bar. Not pleasant at all!.

Room Tip: Ask for pool view.

We are just starting the 2nd week of our stay at this hotel and it has been excellent in all areas. We are in room 1717 which is on the 7th floor which gives you good side views of the area and beach. The room is lovely and the same as the pictures in the brochure, so no disappointments there. The room is kept exceptionally clean and has tea and coffee making facilities, a well stock fridge and all shampoos etc in the bathroom. You even get slippers! The food id amazing and anyone who makes a negative comment on the food must be mad. There are at least 20 choices of meal in the main Restaurant plus salads etc. There are also other restaurants available throughout the day with 24 hours food service, somewhere within the hotel, so if you feel hungry at 3 in the morning you can go down to the lobby restaurant, where there is food available until 7am. Service in the hotel is excellent, and there is a genuine attitude to please. The default language seems to be German and at first you may be greeted in German, but they also speak English when you reply in English. At the pool they have people on skates taking your drinks orders, so you do not even have to get up to go to the bar yourself. This is a great hotel and I would not normally go to an hotel a second time, but if I was visiting Turkey again I think any other hotel would be a disappointment after staying at such a good hotel.

We stayed here in June 2013 and returned for new year 2014. Both stays were excellent, the hotel was clean and the staff very friendly, despite the language barrier. Most of the staff spoke English or wanted to speak to you in order to improve their English. If only we were as eager to learn another language.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone considering a week in Antalya. We have already booked to go back for new year 2015. Just a pity the weather isn't guaranteed at that time of year.

Since we have been in many 5 star hotels in Lara & Belek during last 6-7 years ( like: voyage , Calista, Rixos, Delphin imperial& Diva, Baia ,...etc),this review might be a little bit critical, !!!
Oh yeh! Hotel is beautiful & luxurious ,  big chandeliers  you see in  Ioby , classy decoration ... , clean and spotless gardens , pools,...which we used to see in all luxury hotels in the area.
What  makes the  difference between these 5 stars ? I think:  Details & also top qualified service you recieve , .. ofcourse  it depends on your expectation & taste.
First impression was the  Receptionist who pushed us to choose family room instead of two double because they overbooked the hotel !! We were tired so accepted just for one night, &they promised to change it next day morning which they didn't !! So I asked for the manager and  they apologized and changed rooms  ! It shows poor   management when you pay in january and make the reservation for march!!!
Staff? really  hard working , lovely ,& always smiling,... bar tenders also the same but not professional ones, although  they always tried to do their best.!
Entertainment team? one of the best , specially Jack who downloaded the Adel song for my daughter at Karoek night( although it was not in the list.( details as I said !!)  and other ones , they  prepared diffrent shows for each night....
Drinks? Branded but it was much  better in Voyage Belek.
At last the poor wifi which was awful ...
With my all respect to Royal holiday  ,  I don't recommend this hotel to my friends , although we spent a great holiday there, for one week,  but could  get better service with same price in other hotels.!
But,Hope you enjoy your holiday !
