Arrived home yesterday after staying for a week with my husband, 15 year old daughter and 22 year old son. Fantastic welcome. Stunning hotel. Fabulous room. (We had a family room). Duvet too small for the large bed and our pillows were lumpy and hard. Enormous shower. Clean room and hotel. Stunning in fact.Cleaners came daily to do room. No need to bring towels, shower gel, conditioner, toothbrushes and paste. Mini bar full and re stocked daily without fail. Food- fabulous. You will never go hungry. Big downside me and hubby had severe sickness and the runs for 24 hours two days into the holiday. Not great at all. Rollerblade girls were fab. They served drinks around the pool and were so friendly and efficient. The staff couldn't do enough for us. Fun fair (ferriss wheel, merry go rounds, pirate ship and the excellent bumper cars) needs to open for more than the 2 hours in the evening. 4 hours would be better. Pier bar is great for the evenings. Didn't watch the entertainment as not our thing but at a glance was good. Pools were lovely and so clean. Not enough sun beds at some of the pools. There would be if the selfish souls didn't lay their towels down on them all day and abandon them! We stayed mainly at the relax pool where it was less busy. The shops around the resort are priced in euros and the shop keepers were incredibly pushy and seemed desperate . Didn't like it as you couldn't just browse so didn't bother in the end we gave up! All in all we fully recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Choose a room on the inland side overlooking the pool and sea.

Our vacation was nice, but could be better. Some employees were existed, with no good mood. some angry from the morning!!!
A lot of pools, lot of good food.
Some shows in the evening were boring.
Anyway, everything was compensated by the food: we eat here the best food from entire Turkey.

Stayed at Delphin Palace last year, had a look around the Imperial then and knew this was the place to return to this year!
Came during Easter school holidays in early April. Weather was warm for most of the day with cool mornings and evenings. Had one day of rain. Hotel was at a decent occupancy, no idea what % but not too busy and not too quiet.
We were met off our transfer my the head of guest relations - really sorry I can't remember her name - she was really fantastic in talking us through the hotel and getting us a room in a brilliant location. We emailed the hotel in advance to request a 7th floor room as this is the only floor with baths in the bathroom as opposed to large walk in showers, we considered this essential with little children. She allocated us 7004 at the end of a long corridor which as a little larger than most rooms and had a fantastic view. Lots of space in the room the kids to play and cot delivered promptly.
Minibar was refreshed daily, and the man doing this was more than happy to give us extra on some items instead of others things we didn't use. Also got a small bottle of wine a day and some random fruits and chocolates during the week.
The all inclusive wine was nothing special if you're a wine connoisseur but was easily drinkable and enjoyable, both red and white, also plenty of fizz around!
Given it was April, most of the guests crowded around the rear pool during the day as it was heated. The other pools were absolutely freezing, put the kids off using the slides unfortunately.
We rarely used the kids club but they did provide some excitement for the little ones at times. The fun fair was used daily as was the playground which they loved.
Location wise, around 10-15min from the airport, clear roads meaning an easy transfer. There are plenty of shops, pharmacies, bazaar like markets all around - from across the road and onwards.
Decor, I loved it, the wife hated it! All your surroundings appear grand and lavish.
There is an irish pub style sports bar in the lower ground floor - despite being a 5* hotel - take your football shirt with you - great atmosphere for sporting events.
Evening entertainment was inside in the ball room as out of season, wasn't great - was a little like a re run of what we saw at the Palace last year (same staff).
Drinks - different beers to try, lots of cocktails, lots of variation for the kids.
Not sure what their definition of a cappuccino is at breakfast - a blob of thick cream in a cup of black coffee. The hidden gem of the hotel was a coffee and chocolate bar opposite the ball room, this was only open for two hours in the late afternoon but serves the best coffee and the chocolates were great!
It's a shame we could only do one speciality restaurant as part of the all inclusive (we did more last year at the Palace). We chose the Japanese bar (?tepeniaki) - brilliant - highly entertaining with personalised service, similar to what we've seen before in the Caribbean so nice to have this side of the Atlantic.
My only negative about this hotel, and rather a big issue for a food lover like me, is the food in the main restaurant. It's not bad, but it's not brilliant. I can't help but feel that some things are done on the cheap, like the donner meat on Turkish night and the overall lack of good quality meat. The Liberty Lara hotel is far superior when it comes to the main restaurant evening meal. Lunch time was a little repetitive if you returned to the same place (main place for lunch seemed to be around the outside stage area) - same food every day. Variety was obtained by taking food from various carts or huts back to our pool area such as kebabs, jacket potatoes (only late afternoon) and pancakes.
Absolutely loved the pier - having a drink after breakfast looking back at the hotel and beach was great, great service - sometimes too good!!!
Hoping to return next year - limited by school holidays but hoping to return in May as the winter season offering at the Imperial was lacking compared with summer at the Palace, for instance no gala night, banquet breakfast, fireworks and better entertainment.

Room Tip: 7th floor for a bath.

This was our second stay at the hotel and to be honest it was better,I never thought they could match the first holiday but they surpassed this, our room was bigger and a better view as well, the food was superb as usual and we even managed to sample the al a carte restaurants, the hotel staff are probably the friendliest I have ever met and all the waiters simply carnt do enough, one major headache if you have children is the internet access this is a major problem which I believe they are trying to sort out as this is not very good.all in all a very good holiday and we are defiantly returning again and again a wonderful holiday all round 11 out of 10

Arrived late in the evening for a family holiday & walked into a very impressive lobby/reception area. A welcome drink was offered and much appreciated. Check in was smooth and efficient and staff on the front desk friendly. Luggage delivered to rooms promptly, a very impressive start to our family holiday. We had 4 rooms, mixture of adults and teens. 3 rooms were on the 3rd floor and the 4th room was on the 7th. Our room, was an interconnecting room with the teens & contained a double bed and separately a single. Spacious enough room, with a safe, but no drawers, only shelfing in wardrobes, not exactly ideal for a 12 day stay.
Nice big shower and plenty of space around the sink area, with towelling robes for both my wife and myself. However the extractor unit didn't work and the bathroom steamed up quite quickly after a shower - a minor issue. Our balcony overlooked a piece of waste land and the heli pad area, with a partial sea view, but we didn't see this is a problem, as we had no intention of staying in our room. FYI - Even room numbers appear to have sea / pool views.
Plenty to do during the day, with 4 − 5 pools. One for relaxing, 2 for a bit more activity, a kids pool and a private lagoon for the lagoon rooms. Decent beach area with plenty of seating and a pier with a bar extending out to the sea.
Activities during the day were OK - Football, Tennis, water games in the pool, water sports on the beach. The girls on roller skates delivering drinks around the pool were great, efficient and like most of the staff, very friendly.
The shows in the evening weren't the greatest and after a watching a couple, we didn't bother thereafter. The gala night, was particularly disappointing, as you were seated too far away from the main stage. Chat, Scrabble, cards and drinks provided our entertainment.
Gusto is the main buffet restaurant and is huge. Can be a problem getting a table if you are in a large group, as there is no one to meet & seat you. Annoyingly, we would find 3 people sitting on a 10 seater table!!! There appears to be a huge selection of food, but this is a bit misleading, as a lot of it is duplication. This can be a bit disorienting initially, but you soon get used to where things are. Not the greatest buffet, with a few of the different sections not containing any signage, so you didn't really know what the food was.
There were 6 (?) a la carte restaurants - we tried the Italian, Asian & another (can't remember now), & they were OK, but nothing special - you have to book 24 hours beforehand.
Enjoyed the spa, which was pricier than outside the hotel, but still relatively good value and at least you were on site and relaxed.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Delphin Imperial and would go back, but be aware this is not the UK or USA and some things are not the same. The free wifi is very poor (apart from the aqua bar), whilst service is great, sometimes things take a tad longer than we might expect; some other guests may not believe in queueing or have the same manners as maybe other guests expect and this can be frustrating - but that's not the hotel's fault. My advice is just to chill and relax and enjoy your holiday - The Delphin Imperial certainly allows you to do this!
