We was in hotel two weeks in July 2014 - family holiday with two teenagers. The hotel we chose after last year's holiday - we were in this hotel, so I can compare.
Positve:
Variety of food ,Quality of food,Large rooms (we had familly room) ,Close from airport (15 minitues), part of staff is wery friendly , Relax pool, huge pools, lot of baby pools, Aquapark
Negative:
Out of hotel lot of garbage - but ok this is not problem of hotel, Old furniture in dining room - old, sometimes ragged chairs - for 5* hotel I think not acceptable and primary comunication language russian, WiFi on the rooms - forget - hotel declare internet on room but this is only scfi

We had some problems
1, I booked fammily room on sea side - we recieved room 3077 with "fantasic" view to technical part of the next hotel, supply routes and back of Sultan bazar - shopping center. I was on reception - I want another rooms, but answer was - not possible we are full - i know hotel was not full ..... ok, room is generaly on sleeping but certainly I was not satisfied with room

2, air conditioning in the children, room did not work properly cooled only and can not be controlled so that it can be turned on or off only - reaction technique was that everything was ok - without further comment

Compared to last year there were fewer guests, but it was much more Russians.
This was my last visit Hotel Delphin Palace Imperial.

Room Tip: If you can - select a room near the lobby

Absolutely perfect for families. We travelled with our 4 yr old boy and 3 yr old girl.

I'd read reviews on here previously re. the service and the busyness of the hotel. Cannot say I experienced those problems myself. The waiting staff were extremely friendly and helpful as were the concierge. The place was busy but not unusual for the summertime from any other hotel. There were always plenty of sun beds available and the roller girls would come by frequently asking if you wanted refreshments/drinks.

Food was great, lots of variety and nice tasting food. Not massive amounts of recycling but you'd have to expect a little at a buffet all inclusive resort. Buffets are often a bit chaotic with people queuing from both ends but for anyone with even a minuscule amount of patience, this is not a problem.

The night time entertainment was really good and was even engaging for the young ones who would rather watch the shows than play games on my phone. When the shows didn't seem too appealing, there is a cinema and games room for them to go nuts in.

Pools are great in size and as said above, good number of sun beds around. Beach is also nice but sand gets hot and the shallow end is a bit pebbly. Still, pier is great place to relax or to dive off into the ocean.

Rooms were huge with decent wifi for those who unfortunately have to remotely log in from abroad. Balconies were massive and great hang out spots when kids were having their afternoon nap. Family room had two (slightly larger than) queen beds.

There is a nightclub there too which looked pretty decent and a good selection of bars with branded spirits on the all inclusive menu.

Having stayed at the Atlantis in dubai earlier this year, I would have to say that this place trumps there and we will definitely be re-visiting.

(ps. Minibar is free which is a great plus!)

(pps. Also only approx half hour away from airport but no noise from overflying planes)

We have just returned from a 2 week stay at this hotel. It really is just brilliant. The food, the staff, the entertainment and the attention to detail are just great!
We travelled with 3 children and they seem to have covered everything you ever need! Baby food is available and a hand blender at meal times and kids pools, entertainment and kids club is brilliant.
My only very small annoyance during my 2 week stay is the fact that the sunbeds are packed so tight right around the waters edge of the pools that it makes it difficult to get in and out without climbing over people, even leaving a small gap would do. Other than that it was pretty faultless. We will be returning next year.

Stayed here for a week during late July and was expecting an enjoyable week away from the working environment at home. The Delphin Imperial is within close proximity to Antalya Airport and is extremely noticeable when approaching it. Although the entrance is impressive and the hotel itself emphasises on being grand it is too big to satisfy myself.

We have stayed in the Delphin Diva and was incredibly impressed with the consistent service and condition of the hotel. The staff members here weren't attentive and occasionally rude. Their English was unsatisfactory which made requests at customers services difficult.

Restaurants were busy and offered the same food every day. Usually cold or sometimes undercooked! Unacceptable! The cleanliness of the room was inadequate and the bed sheets were stained upon arrival!

This hotel is terrible when compared to the Delphin Diva and other similar offerings in the area. I am unbelievably disappointed and still unable to come to terms with spending such large amounts of money on this!

Please message me privately if you require any more information regarding the hotel, area or Diva.

Would not recommend, however I would suggest the Diva or Baia Lara. You'll undeniably notice the difference!
