As affordable, all inclusive holiday resort hotels go, this is as good as it gets. I still here in the middle of a 14 day package with my family of 4 (2 adults 2 kids 14 and 10)

The hotel complex is tastefully designed based on the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul and it is a very good quality hotel. when joined with the equally impressive Kremlin palace next door (sister hotel which you can use) it probably houses between 4-5000 guests!! That size has a distinct up side. The hotels both have many Russian guests who have managed to take rudeness when on holiday to a level that most westerners could not hope to match. If you have been on holiday with these people you will know what I mean. In the Topkapi Palace however the problem is greatly reduced by the sheer size of the place and importantly, the excellent staff appear to have a brief to not allow queue jumping . Stand your ground, say nothing and smile. (Tipping the waiters and bar staff a couple of Euros from time to time is also a good investment.
The hotel is immaculately clean, well serviced and maintained. I have 2 of the fussiest eaters in my family and even they manage to enjoy 3 meals a day from the inclusive restaurants. Food is good, plentiful and varied. I love the main dining hall!
As with most resorts, the hotel shops are very expensive. A 50p ride on a local minibus (Dulmus) will take you to the nearest shops for snacks, sweets, sun cream etc.

I still have a week to go but I'm delighted with the holiday so far! The weather for the last 7 days has been 35 Degrees in the shade every day so bring high factor cream!

Just returned had a great time - if you want a relaxing holiday in the sun then this is for you - but 14 days was too long for us who prefer a more active holiday - travelling with a 5 n 8 yr old who soon got bored of the pool, beach and flumes - lots of Russians particularly in the neighbouring kremlin hotel which we could use for evening meals etc I preferred to eat as cooler - but they are rude and do push in but this is their culture and by the end of 2 weeks your find yourselves cutting in in front of them!! Recommend the manavgat trip if you want to get out and a taxi to kelche don't get the bus took ages! Kelche v pretty town for little shops and harbour v picturesque! Best way to describe this hotel is Groundhog Day! Entertainment in evening a little dire Simon Cowell would b pushing his buzzer lol and late for kids 930pm start every night - we won't go back but glad we've been we will stick to cruising!!!

Just returned from a 10 night holiday here. This hotel was much better than expected, after reading the reviews on here. Hotel is beautifully kept. Had 2 story room as there was 5 of us.Room was more than big enough. Maids did a great job keeping it clean. Russian can be a pain if you let them, but you have to be forceful with them. Seemed to be just as many English as Russians and Turkish. Found the Thomas Cook restaurant the second day, ate breakfast there everyday. Food the same most of the time, but you wont go hungry. Ate in restaurants that you pay for most nights. Really enjoyed these meals. So much food for your money and tasty. Pools and slides great fun. Kids loved it there and didn't want to come home. Would visit again. But may be not in August as weather to hot fo rme.

We have just returned from an amazing 11 night stay at the Topkapi Palace. We are a family of 4 with two children aged 5 and 10. We arrived in the early hours of the morning and were quickly checked into our room. We attended the Thomas Cook meeting with the rep which was very helpful and full of excellent tips. We took Turkish lira and sterling but everything was priced in euros in and outside of the hotel. However, everyone was more than willing to take sterling and even gave better discounts if you used lira or sterling. Our room was more than adequate and was cleaned regularly. We stayed in room 2422 which was overlooking the main pool and had views of the sea and the Justice Tower - beautiful! Yes, the main restaurant was very busy but what do you expect when you book a holiday at peak time? And yes, some guests can seem a little greedy or lacking some manners but this is just a cultural thing and nothing personal. There is a much quieter buffet restaurant next to the spa which was perfect for us with plenty of choice but just on a smaller scale. Our children are both picky eaters but they were able to find plenty of things to eat at the buffet. The entertainment in the amphitheatre was excellent with acts that all nationalities could enjoy. The head if the animation team who hosted all the poolside and nighttime entertainment made huge efforts to include every nationality - even us Welsh! Kayleigh from the animation team was a sweetheart and made sure that we knew what was going on and where. The service from all the staff was second to none and everyone works extremely hard to make sure that everything is just right. We would recommend that you use the dolmus bus service to visit nearby shops rather than the hotel shops however some of the the outdoor stalls are rather good especially Susie Souvenir and the craft stall. If you are taking children, make sure that you bring your own inflatables for the pool - we're glad we did as they are very expensive in resort. All in all we had a fantastic time and the weather was amazing - factor 50+ for all of us!

Room Tip: If you are unhappy with your room or the view just ask to be moved and it is arranged quickly and wi...

A fun hotel, for families. I travelled with 2 children and had an amazing time. Right on the beach, but nothing outside the hotel to walk to. Waterpark at the hotel was fab, lots of pools and slides, etc for all ages. I heard a lot of people complain about the food, I thought it was lovely, so did my family, but you have to be prepared to try different things because they did not really cater for the English. A lot of Russian and German guests, who were quite rude. No English entertainment. Good, clean bedrooms, had everything you need including mini bar. Small fun fair and games room, but you do have to pay for these. Yummy Hot dogs at the snack bar by the beach at lunch times!

We booked our holiday and were very concerned when we read reviews on here but none of the bad reviews were anywhere near the truth of what we experienced .We arrived early hours of Sunday morning 21st July and were checked in quickly and without delay. We found our room and our luggage was delivered within 10 mins of being in room. When we woke up we looked out and had a great view of the sea and Kremlin resort next door with a backdrop of the mountains in the distance .Food was great and plentiful with a huge choice to suit all needs, yes it was busy in the main restaurant but what do you expect with over 900 rooms in the hotel.. Our 2 boys aged 8 and 10 always found food they liked and enjoyed. There is so much to do and not enough hours in the day. Entertainment was always excellent and the ANIMATION TEAM were at their best. Our 2 boys went to the Teen Lounge in the Kremlin resort almost every day, where the 2 members of staff Kayleigh and Denis were brilliant with them. They worked long hours and were always smiling and pleased to talk and help if you needed it. Meet some great new friends that made our holiday even more special. The Aquapark was a great hit with the boys and they had loads of fun . The facilities here are great the boys loved it all ,tennis, football, darts ,pool and table tennis. Both of our boys didn't want to come home as they loved it so much. We are so pleased with our holiday at WOW TOPKAPI that we are going to book again for next year .

Room Tip: corner rooms are larger and can easily accommodate 2 adults and 2 children we stayed in room 5514 an...

accommodation was really dated, bed clothes felt old and tired, air conditioning was noisy
Food was terrible, the smell of the restaurant starting up for breakfast, lunch and dinner all smelt the same and after 3 days smelling it made me feel sick, all had bad stomachs, chicken was pink, flies all over cheese and cold hams! pregnant cat hangs about getting fed by all the children. My kids had to stick to rice and chips. Went to Italian restaurant which was lovely should of went from start, there's a 5 euro charge per head.
Not much for kids, slides do not look like brochure, much smaller.. pools good but both children got ear infections and my 12 and 9 year old found themselves bored there's a game-station which has free ping pong and football table also a PlayStation 2 which was free but son said wasn't good, PlayStation 3 cost 13 lire an hour which you could only change the game twice and bowling was expensive, they had water polo on twice a day everyday which kids weren't allowed to play but eventually ended up letting my 12 year old play, after him constantly asking , also there was mini games near the main pool bar but again just for adults- kids told no that there was a kids club but too babyish for my two, face painting, colouring in etc
really disappointing holiday overall.

Room Tip: do not waste your money
