I stayed in this hotel after transferring from one not too far away that was the pits.

Argos hotel staff were professional and really nice people. I was very ill during my holiday and they looked after me very well and nothing was too much for them.

It was cold at the time but the pool was open and clean.

The upper room was very small and I transferred to a balcony room over looking the pool which was much bigger. The rooms are kept clean and if you suffer from mosquito bites they even provided me with a mossy plug repellent.

Its a budget hotel and the rooms reflect this.

Breakfast was a typical Turkish breakfast which tomatoes, eggs, eggs and more eggs but it was nice to eat there in the morning.

The hotel is situation a few minutes from the clock tower and off the side streets of lots of shops. Close by was the main old antalya town centre which is lovely and so many shops and restaurants worth visiting. A short bus ride took you to the main beach front where you found plenty of shops and restaurants. I liked where it was situated.

The old antlaya marina is also very close to the hotel and thats beautiful to sit and watch the day go by especially some of the upper stair restaurants that over look the marina. Very romantic if your with the right person

Its a really nice budget hotel and worth a visit but remember the hotel is not modern, its got a real Turkey feel to it.

Room Tip: Choose the balcony room r rooms by the pool as they are large and the others are pretty small.

Room was large and very nice next to the pool. Breakfast was minimal but ok.
Would most definitely stay here again. The staff were friendly and very helpful.
It was located near the center of old town with many restaurants and shops nearby.

Budget, little hotel in a perfect location of old city. Close to restaurants, attractions and beach. Our room was basic but next to the swimming pool and cleaned daily. Very helpful staff, good breakfast, no complaints at all:) We enjoyed our stay a lot:)

My wife and I stayed here for 1 night during our tour around Turkey. The first impression is that this is a very nice, clean little hotel. Our room is spacious enough, with a pool view. The drawback is the shower. Water is all over the floor, I guess they have problem with the plumbing system.
What I love from this hotel are, they have very friendly staffs and the location is very close to everywhere around the Old City. It only minutes away from the tram station, harbor, restaurants, it just perfect location.

BEWARE Everyone.....!!!
if you have room by the pool, rooms --01-02-03-04 ...you will not be able to sleep night time becouse of staff will be working --cleaning --on the upper floor from you...( thats lobby area) and they are really loud and noisy...
Also when i was back to my room next day they SAID !!!!!THEY HAD CHANGED MY ROOM WITHOUT ANY NOTICE ...AND MANAGEMENT OF THE HOTEL DID NOT EVEN APOLOGISE FOR THAT.......... LACK OF PROFFESSINALISM..LACK OF RESPECT TO THE GUESTS--maybe they really do not care at all.....

The hotel is average, however, the staff does not speak much english and not very friendly. The first room was probably in the worst location and had a shower with mold and not very functional; moved to another room after looking at other boutique hotels ( all have small bathrooms) on the same comparables in the historic area. The breakfast was average, no other meals available. The location was good, close to all historic sights in the area.
Would not recommend.

Just spent a week in the Argos and did not enjoy this hotel, in it's day it may have been able to claim 'boutique' status but not now, no bar, you could only get a bottle of beer or glass of wine from a fridge in the 'dining room', no restaurant to speak of either, the pool is in a state of decay as is the hotel in general and the biggest let down were the staff who appeared indifferent to guests at best. They did not make us feel welcome at all. Overall a big dissapointment. It's location was the one plus as the old city is beautiful, lots of cool cafe bars and excellent places to eat; all the locals we met (outside of the Argos)were warm, friendly and really welcoming. We would recomend the Menu Corner and Secret Garden in particular, there is another excellent restaurant opposite the Secret Garden owned by the Sirri family that is stunning with excellent food. Sit outside the Antique cafe and watch the world go by while enjoying a glass of wine or cup of chay.

Room Tip: for a real boutique hotel go to the Aspen, Alalpas or the Mediterra Art hotels nearby
