Owner description: Descend from Kaleici to the Antalya Marina via very steep stone steps. Bring sturdy shoes so as not to slip. It's well worth the effort because the marina is a lovely crescent-shaped place where fishing boats rub shoulders with smart yachts. Watch the fishermen sell their latest catch and chat with yacht owners. A few small cafes offer coffee or tea. Look back up toward the plateau, which forms the basis of Antalya and get a special view of the landmarks from down below.

“Great walk/shopping in Old Town”
Reviewed 30 April 2014

We so enjoyed walking around the Old Town section first thing in the morning when the shops had opened. Went in at Hadrian's Gate and went towards the harbour. Now we wished we had taken one of the many boats offered for an hour excursion around the harbour. Very pretty with the high cliffs. There is also the agora area which is more touristy. It was also fun just people watching and talking with locals. Very friendly and helpful.

“Faboulous and spell binding views”
Reviewed 24 April 2014

You come to the marina after a nice stroll through the old city. Definitely recommend going on board of one of the pirate ships and enjoy the spell binding views of this beautiful marina.

This should be part of your tour plans. It is a gorgeous marina. Take a boat tour, though prices are negotiable. You will enjoy it!

“An Excellent Place. Unfortuneatly not Disabled Friendly”
Reviewed 15 April 2014

The harbour is situated at the bottom of a high cliff with a steep hill down to it. The original old town is mainly in this area and unspoilt, anything that has to be rebuilt has to be built back to the original, thus preserving history as in most of Antalya. There is a good view of the old buildings from the top of the cliff but as you walk down you pass a lot of the them.

Once down to the harbour level it is a peaceful and tranquil area, there is a nice marina. Well worth a visit
