Excellent holiday round the pool, staff were very friendly, food was excellent with a wide range of styles, Hotel is spotless. huge pool means you always have plenty of space to swim or play. Well worth it, we would definitley return.

This is the third time that we have travelled to Turkey but the first time at Lara Beach. The hotel is very clean and well kept but due to the time of year that we had travelled I was over whelmed by how busy it was. The pool areas are cramped with hardly any space between sun beds, which are also very difficult to reserve unless you get out early! I found the buffet restaurant extremely busy, and was disappointed that you were not shown to your table by a member of staff as previously experienced in five star hotels in Belek, often you were left to roam the restaurant until you found a suitable table and due to the fact the hotel was so busy there were lots of tables with dirty dishes left on them whilst the poor staff were working hard to clean them, refresh the table and serve drinks - the hotel could really do with more staff during peak season. That being said the staff around the water slides for the children were fantasic, the kids loved the slides and the fun fair meaning most of our time was spent by the slide pools. We ate in the al a carte restaurants on five occasions paying the additional 12 euros per adult once we had used our two free meals - the Chinese was fantasic, as was the Italian (there are so many courses you may want to drop a few) we enjoyed the Turkish restaurant and the fish restaurant too although the Chinese and the Italian were our favourite. The buffet restaurant was not very well laid out and limited food choice, there was always something edible to eat although it was at times a little repetitive, what's annoying is there is so much food choice during the daytime it would be easy for the hotel to expand their choice during the evening by offering some of the daytime choices....there are kebabs, fresh sub sandwiches, jacket potatoes, pizza, pancakes, waffles, ice cream and fruit - the daytime food was amazing. The entertainment team were lovely and tried really hard, but out of a two week stay there were only a couple of good acts, with one being a live band by the pool bar, in my opinion the hotel should invest in some professional entertainment for the evening - it is what is expected for a hotel of this standard. The majority of staff were great although some looked a little miserable at times. Please avoid the hotel shop, the man changed his prices on a number of occasions, increasing them by ten euros in the space of a few minutes, no items have prices tickets and they take an age to tell you the price when you ask, there are some shops a couple of minutes walk away that sell the same items for a fraction of the price. The beach was good, and we hired a private pavilion for 66 euros (for four people) this included all day waiter service and was a lovely fun experience. All in all we enjoyed our holiday and had a great time but would not return.

Room Tip: People who had a sea view said that there was increased noise until about midnight from the entertai...

This is an amazing hotel! It was our 1st time in Turkey (2 adults 2 children) and we weren't disappointed, everything was just fantastic. The staff were all so friendly and went out of their way to make sure everything was just perfect. We had a duplex room (1007) and the views were incredible. The food was great so much choice, we never went hungry. The waterpark was superb and was lovely to see the staff join in sometimes going down the slides. The staff work very hard in this hotel. We would defiantly return to this wonderful hotel.

I write this from my room at the hotel on the 5th day of our holiday. As someone used to holidaying in Lara I can say that I am delighted with this hotel which is a world better than the Royal Palace we stayed in last year. Food is good and far better choice of main European staples and while it can be busy in the restaurant I don't believe it to be any more tiresome than all others of a same nature. Facilities for children are tremendous and the staff are very hardworking and I have not encountered anyone other than helpful. Have heard a few professional complainers moaning about children or queues but lets face it, you knew what you were booking when you made your choice! Don't be sucked in to paying over inflated prices in hotel shop as there are good little places 5 mins outside the hotel. I am very pleased we came here so would certainly recommend it.

The hotel isn't far from the airport, about 25 min. It's a luxury place and a resort. I enjoyed my stay there on winter holidays. There were not many people so I was glad twice)))) the food was excellent: many kinds of fish, meet, deserts, nuts and very, very tasty delight!!!

All the rooms were good, clean and comfortable although not so big. The staff was pleasant, friendly and helpful, there were no problem during the stay.

The hotel has a wonderful garden with a big pool, terraces, gazebos and bridges.

This is hands down the best holiday we have had so far. People who have given this hotel any less than 4 stars- I am just gob smacked as I don't know what it must take to please these people! Rooms were spotless and large, lovely and modern. We had a room that looked over the pool and also had a sea view it was fantastic. we are a married couple with two children aged 9 and 6, the kids (and my husband and me) loved the water park, good selection of slides, boats, wave pool, lazy river etc. The evening entertainment kept the kids entertained and they loved going to the show each night. The animation team work really hard every day.

How anyone can say there wasn't enough food choice??? What?? There was seriously everything you can think of. My husband and kids are quite fussy eaters and there was something for everyone. The reviewer before me said that there was always queues for food- we were there at same time and have never had to queue more than a few seconds. Breakfast was amazing, fruits, yoghurts, cereal, pancakes, waffles, omelettes whatever you wanted, I can't think of one thing that wasn't there!!

We were entitled to one free meal in speciality restaurant and we chose the Chinese, it was fantastic and we had a five course meal, served with sparkling wine.

Yes there is a problem with sunbeds if you want to be close to the pool, but to be honest I find this problem every single place I go, not just with this hotel so I don't really know why people are mentioning it. Wherever you go there will always be people reserving beds at the crack of dawn, it's just the way it is.

Pool and grounds were fantastic and spotlessly clean, staff were coming round all day long and picking up even tiny leaves that looked untidy. While sitting round the pool, girls came round with trays of fruit juices and water to hand out which saved you going to the bar and was a nice touch.
On a night time we tried lots of cocktails which were lovely.

Saturday nights there is a garden party, what a fantastic atmosphere! Everyone is given glow sticks and the garden is transformed, there are stands for champagne, cocktails, long drinks, shots everyone having a good dance it was really good, kids loved it.

We will definitely return to this hotel, I have not got a bad thing to say about it.

please ask me if you have any questions xxx

Room Tip: Ask for a pool/sea view room.

Just returned form ten days at this supposed 5 star resort, how disappointing it was too. The only redeeming part of our stay was the fabulous pool and the water park, although the wave pool wasn't operating.
The rooms were comfortable, but the food was so poor. Breakfast was a bun fight, queues all the time and the choice was weak, with just two toasting machines for the hundreds of guests, the queue for toast, a breakfast staple, was ridiculous.
The evening meals were just as bad, several food stations, but the quality was poor and the choice limiting, again the kitchen cooking specialty areas were busy and queuing was the norm.
The 4 theme restaurants, we were only entitled to one visit as we had booked for ten days which we thought was again poor, looked quiet most nights. We paid to attend a second, wis we hadn't, the fish restaurant was again weak, and the only one we did enjoy was the Italian which was well laid out and offered a decent selection of entrees, which were hot when they got to us

Lunch thank god in the turkish tent and the snack bar gave us ample opportunity to eat well and the food was thankfully hot with welcoming and pleasant staff

Entertainment was ok, with a good mix of shows, but the overall five star experience we were seeking wasn't there, We wont be going back to this resort. The booming bass from the main pool and its DJ was also far to loud and we had every day hours of endless noise which upset us and so many other guests we spoke to.

Its our third time in five years to Turkey, and in the same area stayed at two other properties, both rated better in our opinion.
Next year, we will be seeking a vacation further afield, Turkey has served us well but this has left a bitter taste in our mouth.

Room Tip: Any room you choose wont protect you form noise pollution, we booked a quiet room but heard the mus...
