I think they have the best service quality overall. All the personnel was very kind and was trying to do as much as they can for you. I was really impressed. My 5yr old daughter had great time at the mini club all day and night. They were putting on very interesting shows for the kids that keep them entertained all through the day. All-inclusive concept covered everything from minibar at the room to a complete menu of drinks at the bar or orange juice in the breakfast.

Myself and my family have just arrived home from another absolutely amazing two weeks at Barut Lara. This was our 4th visit to this hotel and once again our whole experience here was truly amazing and perfect.

After closing its doors for the winter and undergoing refurbishment, we were interested to see how the hotel had changed. The rooms have been extensively refurbished, including the installation of huge walk in shower rooms. We were upgraded to a ground floor residence room which opened out on to the pool, beautiful. As always, our room was immaculately clean upon arrival and was kept clean throughout our stay. For my husbands birthday, champagne, wine, chocolates and fruit were beautifully presented in our room also.

One of the major changes within the hotel was the animation team. All of the team are new with the exception of the lovely Altan and Hakan. Over the years we have stayed at Barut Lara, we have always been impressed by the animators and how hard they work. This year was no exception. Yalcin, Ezgi and Nemo were all amazing. They are a real credit to the Barut Team. It goes without saying that Altan was just as lovely and charming as the first year we stayed, Barut would not be the same without him!!! We travel with our 12 year old son and he spent most of the two weeks happily entertained by Tugra, or Tiger as they called him. He was absolutely fantastic and all the kids loved him. Such a genuine, fun and responsible young man who made many kids very happy during our stay. And happy kids make happy parents!!!The evening entertainment shows were amazing too, varied and of a very high standard.

The food in the main restaurant was amazing. The main dining room has also been beautifully refurbished and as always, service was excellent. This year there is the addition of two new Al a carte restaurants, one Italian and one Asian. We ate in both and the food was exquisite and the service impressive. I have stayed in many 5 star hotels all over Turkey and the service and food at Barut is second to none. You really need to experience it to understand, it is fine dining at its best. We never had any issues booking any of the Al a Carte restaurants during our stay and were able to book the ones we wanted on the nights requested.

The grounds of the hotel are beautiful, it never ceases to amaze me just how much pride the workers take in keeping the grounds immaculate. There is so much open space, greenery, beautiful flowers and imposing trees, a true piece of paradise. The swimming pools are great, plenty to keep kids and adults entertained.

Barut Lara is one of those Hotels which if you look in a brochure, you would not immediately be struck with its beauty compared to some of the other more impressive looking hotels along Lara Beach, but believe me when I say to you, Barut Lara is number one for not just one reason, but for many reasons. The service, the staff, the attention to detail, the food, the space, the atmosphere, the charm, you really have to experience it to understand it. I could not tell you exactly what it is that makes this hotel so special, you just have to go there and see for yourself and I guarantee you won't be disappointed. Barut Lara is truly deserving of its number one position of being the best Hotel in Antalya. The amount of returning guests at this hotel is phenomenal. One guest we spoke to had been there 17 times!!! Nearly everyone you speak to is a repeat guest and those few who are first timers all say the same thing, that they can't wait to come back.

If you are in any doubt, please don't be, just try this amazing place and experience a little bit of paradise for yourself.

Room Tip: Any room will be amazing!!! I have stayed in the suites, the main building, the residence and they w...

We came here for the first time last year and again in May 2014 again with our now 2 year old. Rooms have been refurbed but it was excellent last year. They now have beans in tomato sauce at breakfast which are similar to baked beans but better! Still sparkling wine! Mini disco is good but they don't really like under 4's getting involved (due to H&S) so maybe it would be good for them to put on a toddlers disco just before hand for parents to take little ones too. Animation team has changed and were a bit more persistent but the only reason it bothered me a little is that I have a toddler so any spare time I had I just wanted to Relax so they need to really bear that in mind rather than making u feel obliged. Not that I will lose any sleep. Guest relations lady pushed in front of us with a few people at the lift one day which I thought was a bit rude.

New restaurants were fantastic didn't have a problem visiting all during our stay.

Would be good if you were allowed just one bottle to take to your room with having a toddler.

All in all though we love this place and we will be returning for many years to come :)

Don't listen to people on here who say they treat certain nationalities more favourably! I felt we were given great service.

P.s get Mahmad back on Yasmin bar as he does the best cocktails!

Our 2nd time visiting lara beach having been to the IC Green palace last year and I must say the Barut Lara is in another league

Only 15mins transfer from Antalya airport

Similar to other reviews on here, I must state that there is no gimmick to this hotel... It's not shaped like a pineapple, cucumber, political landmark or sunken cruise liner... It looks like a hotel... And that is just what it is so great start!

We booked into a delux sea view room which was modern, spacious, comfortable with the nice touch of a walk in rain shower. The balcony was spacious with modern furniture on it and the mini bar was re stocked every day

There were three pools... One massive one next to the pool bar, one quieter one and a fun pool with water slides. All pools were spaced out just right and had plenty of sun loungers around which was never a problem to find a decent one which was unused... Towels didn't go out until 7.30am which was late compared to the contingent in the GP last year

The bars were excellent... Branded spirits, a wide selection of cocktails as well as ice cold bottles of becks and miller... All included. The pool, lounge and garden bars all offered this range and then there was a more standard offering by the beach

The food was excellent... The buffet had lots of variety, was a very good standard and had lots of different specials every day... Morning, noon and night. In addition to this there were approx x8 al le carte restaurants which you could book for free through guest relations. The amazing BBQ by the beach was our favourite with every table having its own BBQ for, you guest it, the man to step up and provide for his family using supplies from the large chillers of raw meat provided
There was a coffee area which also provided cake and ice cream all day as well as a snack bar which supplied pizza burgers and chips etc throughout the afternoon ( fresh fruit too)

Now to the last, but most impressive experience of our time there.... The service... It's exceptional. Whether in a bar or restaurant, the staff are there as you sip the last drop in the glass to replace your drink whether that be just one more or another bottle of wine... Yes wine by the bottle... As much as you like
Their manor was so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble... An absolute pleasure and really made for a great atmosphere amongst the whole community of the hotel.
We never get involved in the entertainment team activities on any holiday and we didn't on this one either, however from what we observed they were the very best we had ever seen... Great energy, knew how to deal with all kinds of people and something different going on every hour of every day. They were exceptional with families and children day and night

The hotel is spotlessly clean... Toilets especially were always spotless inside and outside of the main building and around the pool areas

Ok, one small gripe/recommendation... The maintenance team would barge into our room at will to fix minor issues which had been reported previous to our arrival and unless we had a do not disturb sign would just storm in, not explaining why they were there, and fix something. They returned three times to dril, screw, plaster and replace the bathroom shaving mirror... All while we were resting in the room

Thanks barut lara, we would love to come back one day

Room Tip: Sea view is recommended

If your like me a first timer to this place and not sure whether to book or not then I will say book your holiday, you wont be disappointed. Me, My wife and my seven year old daughter stayed here for 10 days between 17th of May and 27th May 2014.

Firstly let me tell you a few negatives. The hotel building doesn't have the WOW factor. On first impressions I wasn't too impressed. It doesn't have a large balcony with a view over the whole resort and a beautiful view of the sea. and unless your right near the beach you cannot tell you are on a hotel that's on a beach front. Jacuzzi in the spa should be free to use and not charged.

That is the only negatives in 10 days I could find everything else was fantastic.

A La Carte: unlimited use and we booked a different one nearly every day and guest relation were excellent. You can also book A La Carte breakfast as much as you want to :)
But even the buffet restaurant were good and plenty of choice for food.

Unlimited ice cream all day long.

Entertainment team fantastic and they really try and get everybody involved.

Kids Club: The best i have ever seen and i stayed in a lot of All inclusive hotels in Turkey. The have a full week of programs to choose from and we would drop our daughter to the ones we thought she would enjoy. Special thanks to Maryam and Bonus from Zaynab for making sure she had a fantastic time.

This is also the only hotel I know where they had a dedicated customer service lady who walk around the hotel asking all the guests and how they can improve things.

What really stands this hotel out from others is the Service you receive from all the staff members. genuine service with a smile. All the staff actually look and happy and its the only hotel I have been to where they come and ask you before even your drink is finished if you want another. Although the quality of the food is excellent In the A La Carte I do wish they would make the Italian restaurant menu more Italian and the Asian restaurant more Asian etc etc. I felt sometimes the menu was just international. it should be more themed. too many restaurants offering steaks!!!

indoor pool: heated salt water pool - Excellent - You will love it.

So finally I would say you wont be disappointed with this hotel whether your returning the 10th time or your a first timer.

Room Tip: Ask for a pool view if your like me not staying the he main building.

We are a family of 5 and have just had the best holiday at the Barut Lara. I've never had an urge to return to a hotel but I would love to come back here. It's a lovely hotel, absolutely spotless. It's modern, bright and constantly maintained. The grounds are beautiful, well kept lawns, bright coloured flowers. It's a pleasure to walk around. The short walk to the beach is lovely, and if you feel like being lazy they pick you up in a golf buggy to and from the beach!
Our room was great. Family of 5 garden suite. A lovely bathroom with great shower and a bath, separate loo, floating sink , a huge mirror, hair dryer, toiletries, plenty of towels.
The kids had their own room with tv, wardrobes, drawers and a door to the balcony. We had a big bed with choice of pillow ( feather for me!) air conditioning, a desk, tv, mini bar stocked every day with beer, water and soft drinks and milk. There are also tea/coffee and a kettle. Lovely balcony with doors from our room aswell. The little man that cleaned our room was lovely, nothing too much trouble. Folded your pj's! He left it spotless every day.
The food and drink was fantastic. For once in an all inclusive they serve good wine! The white is a Sauvignon, the red a Shiraz and the fizz is like a good prosecco. You can get branded spirits and even the soft drinks are the real thing(proper coke from bottles). They serve nuts with the drinks and you get glasses at the bars. Only plastic round the pools.
We mainly ate in the buffet. Lots of choice, very fresh. Lovely fruit , salad and bread. They cook some foods outside, chicken, lamb, turkey. Barbecue style. Great desserts. Waiters serve you drinks to the table and are constantly cleaning away dirty dishes. It's very well run and doesn't seem like a canteen like some hotels. We ate at the A La Carte 'olive' which was Italian and was gorgeous. Try the veal! The pools are lovely, so clean and never busy. On to the entertainment, what can I say. The team are brilliant. They all are so friendly and fun. They work hard as a team and talk to every guest. They run great games, activities and get up dancing with you every night.
Nemo, you are the best! Our kids loved you, so did we! So funny and friendly. Tiger from the maxi club was also great and our son Finlay had the best time with you. Yalcin and his gorgeous wife Ezgi were great. So friendly and encouraging people to join the fun but never pushy. Julian my partner did shooting with Yalcin and thoroughly enjoyed it. A lovely guy. Ezgi did 'water gym' which was great, not your usual boring aqua aerobics. The shows in the amphitheatre were good, it was lovely to sit out and some of the acrobat shows were amazing. All in all I cannot fault the hotel.
I never got my Turkish massage but the spa looked lovely. Don't listen to negative comments.
It's lovely. We will return. 5 stars definitely.

Room Tip: Family garden suites are a good size overlooking the gardens.
