“Don't get confused by the poor looks of the building, inside and at the poolside is top.”
Reviewed 29 July 2012

Were there with the family last week (wk 29 2012) for a period of 12 day's. Had a very very pleasant stay at Limak Lara. The building itself is a bit aged but don't get confused by it. The service, staff, entertainment and food are top of the bill. The entertainment started at 10 am and lasted until 21.30 pm. if you wanted to join ok if not the same. The complex has a variety of pools (indoor also) and one build in, directly accessable from a number of the hotel rooms. Beds and umbrella's plenty but also lots of sun covered places. Towelservice is ok. There are two restarants close to the beach (one snack bar and one buffet) here the food is ok, drinks served on the spot and plenty space. Compared to Royal Wings where we stayed last year: Royal wings looks better but Limak Lara is simply better (cheaper too) good value for money.
I can recommend this hotel to everybody, dont get scared away by the looks of the building. I am thinking of coming back next year. I have been in a number of Hotels in Turkey but in this one I found the number of Turkish guests high, maybe it has something to do with the quality!

Room Tip: Take a room with sea view, at the road side view is very poor, it cost a bit more but is worth the m...

We were your guests from July 17th till July 25th, and we have enjoyed every minute of it.
This was our first 'all inclusive' holiday and we did not know what to expect. Well we can say that it has been more than we would have ever dreamed! The hotelroom was comfortable and clean
The resort itself was clean and your personnel was very friendly.
Finally we want to give you a big compliment for your entertainment team: what a bunch of enthusiastic young people! They were friendly and everyday there was something to do for all ages. The evening programm was also super!
So we would recommend your resort to our friends and family!

Room Tip: We (2 adults) had a standard room on the 8th floor with view on the sea side. We were very satisfied...

This is our firstt visit to Turkey and I was convinced that the hotels would not be of true 5 star standard. How wrong I was! The Limak Lara really does have something for everyone.. We've been here for almost 2 weeks now and I can honestly say that it's one of the best holidays i've ever had. The entertainment team are truly amazing and all of the staff are so polite and helpful.
Plenty of places to eat and a huge choice. Great steaks, chicken and pasta dishes. Most of the other guests are Russian or German so a lot of the food is aimed at them. Fantstic nightime entertainment and shows. Branded drinks and you get up to 8 items ironed every day. Nice rooms. The Japanese design of the hotel is not really to my taste but a lot of the hotels here in Lara Beach are theme hotels. I would come back to this hotel without hesitation. And I am very fussy!

Room Tip: Ask for a seaview room in B block

Stayed at the Limak Lara for one week for my friends 21st birthday. Took out the ultra all inclusive option as soon as we arrived and would say it was worth it as we got a lot more choice with cocktails, ordered the free room service after 2am and went for the late breakfast although there wasn't as much choice as in the main buffet restaurant. Food in the main restaurant wasn't amazing but always managed to find something and was nice to eat outside, the spicy lentil meatballs were good. The kebabs on the beach were amazing and the Mexican restaurant was nice.
Pool area was nice and always clean, never struggled to get sunbeds. Was nice having free WiFi in the lobby and around the pool area.
Staff went out of their way to make an impression and on my friends birthday had prepared a birthday cake for her and brought it out in the Mexican restaurant.
Overall a good holiday and I would visit again but perhaps at a different time of year due to the unpredictable weather over Easter.

Room Tip: Rooms on the outer sides of the hotel do still have a sea view but aren't very private andlook o...

Having been to 3 different hotels on lara beach(titanic, royal wings, royal holiday palace)we were expecting high standards and were not dissapointed.
First impressions of hotel from the outside/inside is not encouraging, lacks the wow factor like The Royal Holiday Palace/Titanic,but certainly does'nt lack in service of the staff which surprises me reading other reviews on hear!
The food was however a little dissapointing but then again always found something to eat.
The entertainment staff were a highlight of the holiday with really excellent shows like Mamma Mia/The Lion King, they certainly put in a lot of effort. The Russian childrens circus and the Bejing Acrobats were superb.
The kids club as my kids would tell you was the best they have had on any holiday, plenty to keep them occupied with lots of various activities.
The only problem we had was the constant jumping of queues by sometimes very ignorant people, but this may be because us British are too polite.
Overall we had a very good holiday and we would certainly go back.

Arrived for a two week stay end of June with 2 adults and 2 kids. First impressions of the hotel were not the best but How wrong I was.
The rooms are slightly smaller than I expected but they were clean.
The restaurants were very good with a great selection of different foods to suit everyone's tastes. It was a bit of a que some nights but that is to be expected at an all inclusive restaurant.
Al a carte restaraunts available also. I only used the tandoori and it was ace.
I had no problems getting served at the bars and all the staff spoke good English unlike alot of other reviews I have read. The entertainment team done a great job. The one in particular who was my favourite was sasha who done the killer darts in the laila bar. He was so funny and good. Also look out for nevan in the zen restaraunt she was a really nice waitress who after serving you once remembered your drinks for next time. Don't get me Wrong a few waiters did try and ignore you when you wanted service.
Overall I was impressed with this hotel and would not hesitate in going back.
