Green Beyza Hotel Antalya
Ranked #180 of 234 Hotels in Antalya
Reviewed 7 October 2013

On arrival at 3am the reception staff were brilliant, Nehad was welcoming & spoke English. The hotel has some nice features albeit the rooms are basic but it has comfy beds, a tv, balcony with sea view & clean. Perfect!
I staid for 10 days. The pool is nice but not for sunbathing. head left out the hotel there's better sunbathing and larger pool.
The buses to Antalya town are from the top of the road red bus number 7&8 on the other side of the road, about a 25 minute journey. People are always helpful but a good idea to get the hotel staff to write down the area to show the bus driver for your journey back. Going into Antalya town ask for the kale igi...Gulluk ~ castle.
Lots of good places to eat by the hotel. At the main road turn right and keep walking, there's a little fast food kabab kiosk lovely for a quick snack.
Pasta vita is fantastic, head towards the main road & turn left, the staff and food are lovely. For a little off the main road walk towards the sea heading right, there's loads of restaurants. I ate at the Steak House for £15 & it was a superb huge meal. Walking further on you will see white umbrellas on your left, this is a great place to sit and look out to see &out of the wind during the day ~ breakfast/lunch & evening.
I walked to Lara beach about an hour ~ my sister walks very slow. The beach is ok, nothing special but free. The hotel has a free bus that goes to the beach and picks up but I caught the local bus back No.6 white bus.
the local shopping mall which has all the high st shops the same prices as england but genuine stuff. Way there: Go to the high road on the other side walk left about 15 mins walk, keeping on the main road you will see a big white building, walk past & you will see the shopping centre.
If you want to drink alcohol buy duty free as pricey for spirits or buy in the main supermarket. Overall its a nice area to stay but other European travellers are more in abundance so expect the locals to speak Russian more than English however the locals love to hear your from England & try so hard to speak. I say when ever you sit down to drink or eat ask for the wifi pin, go on google translator, its been an absolute saver.
I really enjoyed The Green Beyza Hotel but its not 5* so don't stay here if that's what you want, I wanted traditional Turkish & enjoyed it. Its very safe.we would definitely stay here again. Very close to the airport but not so you'd notice them here. Lara beach was annoying with so many flights landing.
Overall I would rate Green Bayza as 8/10 :o)

I stayed there for a night. When I arrived the hotel nobody helped me for my luggage. There was man in reception he was on phone then ı had to wait for long time.
The bedroom was too old. The bathroom was smelling. I tryed to have a shower but water was cold.
The food was not good they charge you if you ask for a drink. The pool was very small. İf you look at their pictures on their site, things in picture looks good but in reality not!! Dart or tenniss no there was table for tennis but not in use too old, they just put it on a sıde.
The beach service only at 10 not whole day as they mentions. No live music as they said so. There was no any activitıe.
When ask them to ring a taxi for me to go airport they said that they could give me a lift for a 50 lira! But the previous day ı took a taxi from airport to green beyza and it cost me 37 lira. When ı said this to him he insist that the cost will be 50 ı can give you discount of 5 lira. İ didnt accept and went with taxi cost of 35 lira. Do not believe them!
Even ı am a turkish lady they tried to make a profit on me, you must be carefull.
Antalya is abeautifull city enjoy your holiday without green beyza ! I can not understant how did they get their 3 stars from maybe from the sky!

This hotel is a big NO NO NO, don't go there and ruin your holiday! Honestly i am not a negative person but this hotel was a shocker!
For breakfast there was a "selection" of 2 cold meats, 2 cheeses, bread, boiled eggs, jam and tomato and cucumber, only hot drinks are supplied and no juices are supplied. When asked for apple or orange juice they are charged extra. For the evening meal, they keep it really simple, again drinks are an additional cost (coke, sprite etc), the 'food' on the first night was soup, salad, then a main meal of boiled chicken and a few spoonfuls of plain rice. The second night was soup, salad, a main of fish stuffed with aubergine and a few spoonfuls of rice. The third night was soup, salad, a main of pasta and some spoonfuls of mince like food. The 4th and 5th nights we ate out. A point to note however was that I am a vegetarian and this hotel was fully aware of this, but failed to give me anything other than soup and salad for my main meals.
The hotel itself is very old fashioned and the furniture is all dated and desperately needs updating. The pool is very very small and has no sunshine on it at all, it is in the shade all day.
The bedrooms are horrible, the "ensuite" is a toilet, sink and a shower, this is all in about 4 feet space, no seperation except a shower curtain so it looks more like a wet room than a bathroom. The doors are all rotted inside and there is a pungent smell in the bathroom.
We had our room changed, but there wasn't much difference other than instead of being on the second floor we were on the first floor. There is a massive air con unit in every room but it is situated to the side of the bed which means the person on that side freezes. There is a balcony, which just about fits 2 chairs and then has the air con unit throwing out hot air in the middle of the balcony. The carpets are dirty in the rooms and need a clean!
The staff do not speak any english, neither do the owners. There is one friendly chap who seems to work 24 hours a day and is the only english speaker there, he barely speaks it but seems to understand what the guest is requesting.
There was no lift to the nearest beach which was about 3 km away, there was a mention of a shuttle bus being provided online but this was not the case.
The bedrooms are very small and do not have sufficient lighting. There is no lift in the hotel.
Within a very short distance, (near Lara) there are better hotels for your money.
The weather is amazing in Turkey, make the most of it but don't ruin it by going to a horrible hotel. Even though we only returned to the hotel to sleep it still wasn't a very good experience. The only positive is that it is only about 10 mins away from the airport but this journey still took 1.5 hours as we had to visit various other hotels for drop offs and pick ups on the way back.

Room Tip: All rooms are of a similiar layout. We asked for a room overlooking the front as the back was overlo...

In a good position if you have to go to the airport in the morning, because it is at only 10 km from there, ner to Lara; Rooms with old furniture, but almost clean, a small swimming pool, but with a good dinner and breakfast, at a onest price. I think there are better solution in Kaleici to visit downtown , it take sense at that price only if you have to leave the city; the price is OK for what it offers.

Impressions of hotel rather positive, though hotel modest, but pure. Personnel very benevolent. The lift is absent and lifting on the top floor on a ladder isn't so pleasant. We had TRL room. Room rather spacious. A shower very simple with a curtain. The balcony door was badly closed also illumination of a room the very poor.
We arrived very late but as we had a half board, us fed with a dinner. A choice of dishes rather poor, but the food was fresh and is well prepared. The breakfast seemed to me poor. The first time I saw a breakfast in Turkey without local yogurt!
The beach nearby isn't present, but very close to the seashore with a steep and this pleasant place for walks.
For one night it is normal hotel, but for long rest I do not recommend.

I stayed there for 3 nights in September 2011 while on holiday trip to turkey and this was for the first time when I reached some city without having any prior hotel reservation...We took a cab and checked few hotels on Lara beach and finally ended there as few were booked others were too expensive and we wanted something on average budget...Thanks to our cab driver to taking us there as this was a nice choice in limited budget. Stay included buffet breakfast and dinner both plus complimentary ride to/from Lara beach so it was fun overall. Rooms were just OK and wash room was very small :( and too basic. Well as we were on go like a real tourism time so our interest was just to sleep at night there as whole day was spent in exploring the beautiful city of Antalya.
Hotel staff was very very nice and friendly. You can walk to see waterfall and beach (from the top) and view was really good...surroundings of hotel were calm and peaceful but not deserted.
Would recommend if you travelling for holidays with limited budget and go there only if you are not a lazy couch potato :p
