“Not good at all”
Reviewed 20 August 2014 via mobile

I visited the hotel on 7 day vacation with my girlfriend and this is my opinion of it. First of all I agree with many other reviewers witch means that we are not the only ones that saw the same problems. There is almost no air conditioning in the main area, reception, halls and the air conditioning in the elevator almost never worked. There is no light in the rooms, only some small lights in the corners, we had to flash with our iPhones to be able to see inside the room and hallways. There is a stupid see through glass widows in between the room and the bathroom, that can be covered with same shades that don't do much for privacy. It's totally stupid! The view from the rooms is nice, almost every room has a sea view. The food is good and tasty, but is the same all the time, it literally never changes which is terrible. And also the lines are too long, the hotel is always overcrowded and you can never have a piece full dinner or lunch or even breakfast. There is no space at the pool, and no sun beds at the beach because people take them to the pools. The water park works mostly 1-2 hours a day with almost no security. The hotel is full of huge family's with many children that make a lot of noise and no rules are respected. I don't recommend this hotel if you don't have kids, and you are looking for a pice full time at the pool/beach. Also the water in the pools is not that clean.

Hi I have visited this hotel recently and would like to share my thoughts about it from what I have seen. First of all I was not happy with the air con inside the building, when you wanted to cool down there was nowhere to go as the inside was as warm as the outside. Secondly I thought that the ques for breakfast, lunch and dinner was ridiculous. I mean me and my family used to stand for a good 15/20 minutes in order to get our food. It was bad enough we had to wait but it's a massive hotel there should be a bigger food court with a wider selection of foods. It was almost the same foods every single day! I was not happy with the lighting in the rooms and the entire building, it was too dark even during the day! I shared a room with two other people and we didn't have enough plugs, that was also another downer. Also another thing that I had realised was there was only one exit to the Ampitheatre, that is extremely dangerous and should be looked at as it is a health and safety hazard, what if a fire had broke out? Everyone would be running to one direction, it took forever to get out the amphitheatre each night anyway. I also do not think there was enough space in the snack bar for after show entertainment, I couldn't believe we had to stand. How could this possibly happen, no seats for guests in a 5 star hotel. I am so disapointed with this as this hotel had very good ratings online but unfortunately it does not meet the 5 star requirements. How can a 5 star hotel have a small amount of animators working for the entire hotel. Some of the animators did not even get involved, they couldn't be bothered and some were very rude! The shows were very similar and it seemed as though effort was not put in. Also the shows were mainly taken part with three people which was boring. Another thing was the toilets around the hotel were filthy, only the toilet near the lobby was clean. I would also like to share positive things I thought; the bed's in the room were comfortable and kept tidy. Swimming pools were very clean. People working at the reception were extremely helpful especially one guy I forgot his name. Overall I thought that this hotel needs a lot of improvement in order to reach a 5 star standard.

Pros:
- lots of activities for kids. Kids club in Dutch.
- friendly personnel
- a lot of choice in food (alltough overcrowded at buffet, but hey, we're on holliday)

Cons:
- no wifi over entire site. Just reception and indoor bar. Sometimes poor wifi at Sushi bar.
- we had to leave at 5pm. Checkout is at 12. To keep your room you have to pay additionnal € 10,00/hour.
- had to wake up at 7am to put towels at pool or no sunbeds left. Altough it made me have a long and nice sunny day, the hotel should remove all towels before 8am, no pity.
- 'a la carte'-resto. Why is it called 'a la carte'? No 'carte'. You have to take the menu as it comes.

Should you go without kids? I think there is better for that.

Compared to other hotels in the area, this one rank somewhere in the middle. The entry to the sea is quite difficult because the hotel has no pier to climb to the sea and entry through the beach is very steep... Food is also ok but not great, everyday almost the same selection. Long cues for dinner. The rooms were clean and nicely furnished.

I WILL REPEAT EVERYTHING THAT MANIBAMOTRA SAID: "Oh my god..where do I start..a Thai concept Hotel in Turkey with everything a family could ask for. We had a fantastic room with free water and soft drinks in the fridge everyday, sea views from the 2nd floor, middle building, room 2230, with everything a few minutes walk away. Three fantastic swimming pools, fun fair on site, all day activities for adults and kids, fresh local food all day including fruit and ice cream for the kids everyday. All the staff were very kind and helpfull during our stay. On top of this, the night before we were leaving, the hotel celebrated there 7th Birthday which they gave all the guest a massive party show, exclusive dinner and Turkish bbq, fire show, fireworks, champagne, king size cake, clown and bouncy castles for the kids, popcorn, candy floss, and a night dance with all the kitchen staff and managers. I have to say the evening entertainment was brilliant, funny and different every night, keep up the good work animation team, the main leader which I call the short man with beard who always does a funny dance at the beginning of every show and Mr Speedy! Overall a very clean hotel and hygiene through out. We as a family would definitely go next year again!" AND I NEED TO ADD: I REALLY DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY CAN CHANGE TO MAKE IT BETTER. NEXT YEAR SIAM WILL SEE US AGAIN!!! LOVE YOU SIAM, Jelena, Serbia

Myself husband and 16 year old daughter have just returned from a week at the Siam Elegance, where for the best part of the holiday we felt that we were perhaps the only English speaking couple. I felt the hotel was full of exceptionally rude pushy arrogant guests which is not the hotels fault who had absolutely no manners jumped the queue and had no manners. Having read all the reviews I can only comment on our experience. Firstly take euros, hotel was very clean and staff were cleaning all day everyday. We were very unfortunate with our room which was adjacent to the next hotel who had their bins emptied most mornings around 7am no alarm clock needed however on the plus side this allowed us to be part of the sun bed bonanza which started from 6am so be prepared if you want a bed to be down early.

I felt that the food was very repetitive we also booked the Italian restaurant for the Saturday night again rather disappointed no choice and a set menu sorry we did choose for our main course between chicken and beef so not entirely true, not too sure what you would have eaten if you were veggie or vegan!. The staff were very attentive but felt at the start of the holiday there wasn't enough staff appeared to be more staff available when we left so perhaps it was getting busier.

Plenty of sun loungers on the beach but would say the beech is very pebbly underfoot and would be good to invest in a cheap pair of shoes to get over the pebbles which is probably the best part of 20 foot. The shop at the hotel sell the shoes for 10 euros well worth the investment.

The dress code for the restaurant was very lax most guests didn't even bother to cover up swimsuits or the gents put on tops for lunch of an evening it gets slightly better but not to a 5 * rating I think the hotel need to get a bit tougher with their policing of dress code.

All in all hotel was clean well maintained not really 5* probably more a 3* plus but everything was immaculate and the rooms were cleaned with fresh towels and mini fridge restocked everyday but I wouldn't feel comfortable recommending this hotel to any of my friends as I personally wouldn't return.

Room Tip: Try to ensure you have a sea or pool facing room and the noise from the next door hotel laundry ,and...
