“Another great holiday”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 September 2013

Once again we found that the hotel met all our expectations. Although some changes in staff, the 'main players', - manager, restaurant manager and barman were still in position . It was great to see them again, and they and the rest of the staff did all they could to make our stay most enjoyable. The hotel has maintained it's standards, and the evening dinner, both in the quality, presentation, service, and beautiful location, should you choose to eat in, was really excellent. The pools are well maintained, and the Yali beach club is well worth visiting. Thank you all for helping to provide a brilliant holiday.

Room Tip: All rooms are of a good standard, with beautiful views. Rooms facing the pool loose the sun earlier.

My wife, two daughters and I had a wonderful week here in August. The service levels were first rate and the management team was very hands on. Our rooms had beautiful views out to sea. The pool areas were very attractive, particularly the infinity pool. Breakfast was served on a lovely terrace. We had dinner at the hotel one night and it was excellent. Kalkan itself has a nice feel and some very good rooftop restaurants. We would very happily return.

We enjoyed a week here and had two rooms adjacent. It's in a great location andour rooms and large balcony overlooked the beautiful bay. A short but steep path leads to the beach club run by the same group and free for guests and it is very relaxing way of spending the day. No beach, but for us even better as we enjoyed the platforms from which steps down to the lovely sea with great swimming. Food at the beach club could have been better, but friendly staff and facilities make up for it.
Hotel has one restaurant, and we would have been perfectly happy eating here every evening. Good menu, imaginatively served and nice attentive service.
Excellent for a relaxing holiday with good food, great views, location and beach club.

Room Tip: All rooms have Sea views.

To be honest, I am not sure about a review!
I want to keep this gem secret. Kalkan is quaint but sophisticted at the same time. The water is clear and ble. Boat trips abound. The countryside has many interesting sites and places to visit.
The hotel is quiet and peaceful with stunning views. The design is fantastic, breakfast great, staff wonderful. The Turkish evening was lovely. The spa was a little disapointing but still good.

What an amazing hotel. Our first visit to this hotel but I am sure it will not be our last. Views to die for, amazing food and impeccable staff who are so friendly from the cleaners to the managers. Sevi (the manageress) was brilliant. She was always around - checking to make sure we had everything we needed, serving afternoon tea and cakes (complimentary) two days a week and waving us off after our two blissful weeks. The pool is never crowded and you never need to reserve a sun bed as there are more than enough for everyone at the hotel.
The peace and quiet was beyond expectations and we came away feeling refreshed and rested.

This hotel is stunning from start to finish. We stayed 10 nights and found it very hard to find fault with anything. The breakfast is very good just don't expect a "full English" but there is a vast continental selection as well as eggs and pancakes any way you want them and other daily hot choices. Lunch by the pool was first class as was the Dinner we had in the hotel and the Turkish night (please note the hotel does allow children in to the Turkish night)

Our room was beautiful with a balcony view you would do hard to beat. We had a slight issue with the hair dryer not working but this was fixed in the same day.

All the staff in this hotel are friendly and cannot do enough for you. We also met lots of friendly people.

There is a short walk into Kalkan which takes 12 mins, only really to be attempted at night when staying in the summer.

The beach club was good but no actual beach and you can get the diesel smell of the boats going in and out of the harbor when the wind blows towards land. The sea is crystal clear and for the most part very warm.

WiFi is available through out (including the pool bar) and runs about 5Mb so don't expect miracles but it is good enough to stay in touch.

This stay will stand out in my memories as one to remember and you never know I may even go back which is unheard of for me when there is so much of the world to explore.

Room Tip: All rooms are very good you will not be disappointed.

My daughter and I have just returned from a week at The Likya. It is a beautifully and generously designed hotel, which feels more like a labour of love than a big commercial money spinner. It is peaceful, spacious and has stunning views, which surprised me every time I looked up. The Manageress seemed to be everywhere, always friendly but making sure everything was spotless at the same time. Everyone was friendly and efficient, there was a large staff which I hadn't expected. The breakfasts on the terrace were delicious as well as having the most incredible view. The upper infinity pool is idyllic, especially if you are there early, it's also cooler than the lower pool. All the sunbeds are incredibly comfortable and lift up at each end, so you can choose which way to lie without having to turn the bed 180deg. The terrace restaurant has the best views in Kalkan and excellent, beautifully presented food too. We spent many days at the Yali Beach Club, also part of the Likya group. Again, the staff there were friendly and efficient, their little restaurant served very good food, not what we were expecting having seen the small kitchen. The warm goats cheese salad was one of the tastiest I've had. The sun beds are like mattresses, and jumping off the deck into the clear waters below was great fun. It would be beautiful to eat there at night, since you are right on the water. It was one of the nicest, prettiest, most relaxing holidays I've been on. We can't wait to go back.

Room Tip: I'm not really sure there is a bad room at the Likya. Though as you look at the hotel you want t...
